I don't know what that means MDM... but 127 has had long talks about the sleep effect in our private thread, and though Pala will kill me for saying so I think it's too powerful (especially with those bombs and minstrels in the mix) - I think the same rolls should be extended to sleeping enemies as heroes (instead of free hits, if they're left untargetted, they have a chance of waking up). Alternatively I could just slap "immune to sleep" on more of my enemies, or we could rebuff minstrel and raise the price of bombs, but both of those take away from players (especially immunities I try to not do so that people can at least have a large number of strategical options open). Just my thoughts.

Because Nerwen talks so frickin' much? My original idea for my secondary character was going to be a mute assassin, but I thought Bobby would be goofier and a better shot in the arm. I think I'm going to have Bobby on perma-death constantly, though, so I might get around to some of my other characters at some point.

Your people actually needed your help." He punctuates with a shrug. "What would my scattered people do with me? I don't exactly have a kingdom for them to return to, and Hels, anyone who even knew me as a King must be long dead. "Oh, Hels, no offense to you chaps - didn't know you at the time, but I did stop at my kingdom first, and most likely if it'd been around I would have never moseyed on down to this Hall. The history books don't say the Kingdom went down in that war, at least, but who knows if it would have been recorded. Regardless, there isn't a Kingdom to be king of anymore. As a QM dealing with them, I would strongly advise that. I would have the opportunity to not slap as many immunities onto foes, which always makes me happy. Even Arc Scrolls have been massively out-classed recently, which is a bit of a bummer - before it felt like mages could choose to focus on scrolls or spells, but now they don't feel that way. I thought it was cool to be able to specialize within even one class.

The book wasn't so much a story as a series of scattered thoughts. Flipping through Hybros found some of the original content of the book left unscathed: "Any fool can find gold. Boomingham shambles into the Marketplace. He burps and winces at his own breath. He sells his silver ore to a shady man he meets on a street corner. His next stop is at Portia's, where he sells back his two grand tonics and his grand potion, and picks up 3 meads. He then heads over to Anwyl's, who scowls at him but still takes his business: he implants his garnet into Scupperer and his Sapphire into his Frozen Saber, and then has Anwyl sharpen both blades (+5 WP Saber, +3 WP Scupperer). He then pulls out the beaten old Saber. Atramor had sent it to him for Grogmas a few years back, and he'd held onto it for just that reason, but it was weighing him down needlessly, so he passed it over to Anwyl to scrap. Maybe the boy would use that same metal to enhance one of his own weapons some day. Boomingham next heads over to Fabian's shop, where the elf pays him 60 gold for his Mopag Helm (SP:3). (OoC: Hope that's alright, Sandy! It's essentially the same item as the Tricorne, just trying to save us both time!)
