Bravo, Harriet! I think we all need some entertainment on this grim hour. I swear, if we've really nailed a werewolf on our first day, I'll be jumping through the roof with joy. There are quite many people who've decided to remain impartial on this vote, so naturally the focus would shift on them if Zed really is a culprit.

So... Are you from another faction aside the Villagers, then?

Argh, too many fantastic and original entries! It was very tough to choose even the Top Five. My votes go to: 1 point - badboytje88 (Though lacking in execution, the idea is so great I had to vote for this.) 1 point - Clark (Absolutely loving the colors, now do the interior!) 1 point - Jalkow (Another fun and original idea.) 1 point - Maegnus (Loving the design and the details.) 1 point - mcfarlandman (Great execution, reminds me of the official Burrows set.) So there! Well done, everyone, and good luck!
-
Loving the originality on many of these! I thought there would be mostly Hogwarts teachers and students in the entries, but many of you thought outside that box. My points go to: Don Cristo - 2 points (An original idea and great use of that much loathed crash test dummy fig.) kciR - 1 points (Loving the play on scale here.)

This fig is absolutely gorgeous, I must say! Loving the classic feeling to it, and it's nice you decided to pair her up with the Studios vampire instead of the Collectable Minifigs vampire - they match up much better. The Bellatrix hairpiece is definitely one of my favorites, and here it works perfectly. If only TLG would one day produce a female vampire... Waist, man. Waist.

How interesting that you decide to go public with this information... You do realize that if you're a Villager, the knowledge that you have a night action alone will put a huge target on your back for the Werewolves (and for Lord knows what other factions there might be lurking amongst us), don't you? I'm also very dubious of all this talk about "allies" at this point of the trial, since how can you tell who to trust yet? Sure, I've talked with a few people privately thus far, but I wouldn't dare to say I am certain any one of them are on my side. I beg your forgiveness, wifey, but it's true; I can only trust you to a certain extent. So instead of allies, I'd rather say I've been sharing thoughts with people. That's why I find it odd you say you have made allies already.

Werewolf Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread
Sandy replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I know. The schedule of Asylum was just so convenient for me, as the topics went up just as I got home from work and sat in front of my computer. -

I miss the schedule of def's game! Now the days and nights begin when I'm fast asleep and I can only fully catch up after I return home from work. This place is called EURObricks, everything should take place in times suitable for us Europeans. -
Vote: Zed Phillips/Zepher Sorry I couldn't do that earlier, I had businesses to run before the sun goes down. Of course I still do not know for sure if Zed is telling the truth or lying his bottom off, but his slip-ups do make it more likely that he is not one of us Villagers.
-
You say you don't have anything to add, but what do you mean that you're "mostly powerless"? If you have some power that can help us, please tell about it before it's too late.

I am most likely to vote for Zed as well. I am one of the Villagers and thus I received information that we need to eradicate all other factions in order to prevail. Sure, it might be a slip-up on Zed's behalf, but this following speach from him makes it less likely: You sound like you belong to another faction aside from the Villagers and the Werewolves. Unfortunately, as I said, we Villagers need to get rid of every other faction. So even if you aren't a Werewolf but from another faction (whatever they might be), we would be one step closer to victory by lynching you. I apologize, but you are definitely our best bet this far.

How splendid you decided to take us in, Baron Edgar! Your manor is a true haven in this dire situation. Now I wouldn't mind if you kicked some of these cock-swallowers out, though. Their table-manners are dreadful, I must say. Quinn, you better keep your hands on your ears and your eyes fixed on the table. You are too young and easily influenced for this sort of discussion.

Ooh, I had this set! I remember how the white mouse girl was one of my favorite figs when I played with Fabuland as a kid.

Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigures Series 3 Building Contest
Sandy replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Haha, loving Category C! I might make an entry to it myself, even though I already own all the figs and don't want to take away any prizes from those who don't. I especially love how people seem to be awfully ashamed of their own entries, apologizing between each picture and all that. Seriously, nobody has the right to be offended by the entries, there were plenty of warnings not to look at them if one is sensitive to that sort of jokes. -

Married, yes. To a man twice your age. The reasons of that marriage are widely known throughout the town. But I am relieved to hear our son has been restored his rightful name and honor. -

*raises hand* A question for Jimbee: Why do we need the 24 hour limit before voting, if the day will last 72 hours in any case? I'm not against it, I just think that it's pointless with this voting system you're using. Anyway, can't wait for the game to start. I've got a whole family here to protect from those nasty applesauce. PS. Is "everyday citizen" just an alternative term for "unemployed"? -

My brother, good to see you! Alas, it seems our son Quinn has changed his family name recently. That succubus of a woman Angela Fairfax must've seduced him, surely. Damn those Fairfaxes with the fair faxes! -

Hoh hoh hoo, that's my wifey there, always the saucy one! This village of ours is certainly out of the Dark Ages when it comes to sexual morality, I'll say. -
You should keep an eye on this forum, because I have a hunch there's something suitable for you coming this way.

I don't think I pissed anyone off with Hogwarts Mafia, let alone made a fool out of myself. So I disagree with Slim Shady there. If you ever get a chance to host a game of your own, make it unique and exactly the way you want it. Life's too short (and internet life is much shorter) to waste your time on something that's done a million times before (unless you want to do a simple, basic game, of course, there's nothing wrong with them per se). Sure, it requires a lot of dedication and planning and effort, but in the end, if done right, it's much more rewarding to both the host and the players. And if it turns out to be a total train wreck, then so be it - nobody has died from playing a poor game so far. On the other hand, I don't think anyone who's unsure of their idea or skills should even plan on hosting anything.

REVIEW: 2505 Garmadon's Dark Fortress (*pictures intensive)
Sandy replied to Alan's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Just bought this set yesterday (along with three other Ninjago sets, in order to get all the ninja figs), and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It's not just a wicked facade, there's a semblance of interior in it too, and several neat play elements (the skull spider, the grave, the rotating shooty towers and the throne). The figs are top notch - especially Nya, but also Samukai and Garmadon, even if he is a bit simplistic for a main antagonist. The design is very cool, with a unique color combination of black, white, purple and dark bley. The stickers and parts selection actually lean towards sci-fi more than history or fantasy. There's also a variety of totally new pieces, and the price isn't high either. All in all, this set was a pleasant surprise at least for me (ie. not nearly as bad as it looked at a first glance). -
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - The Conclusion
Sandy replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I actually didn't. I considered it, like I told you, but ultimately I just blurted out my true role as the Serial Killer to Hinckley. In the end it didn't matter, I would've been dead either way. I should've just kept my mouth shut and keep on killing people in solitude. I would've won unless the Sinisters would've killed me (since the real vigilante would've run out of bullets), since I don't think anybody could've find an excuse to vote me off. -
Of course I'd love to play! Pretty please?

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - The Conclusion
Sandy replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow. Just wow. This was truly a brilliant masterpiece of a game, def! I cannot believe how much thought and effort you put into this. I especially loved the new direction you boldly took with this game, like the voting system and Henry and the riddles and the roles. Gotta love the photography and artwork you've made for this as well. As for myself, I think I would've made it to the end if I hadn't freaked out and revealed myself to Hinckley. The suspense of not knowing anything was just too much to bear, and I thought the Secret Garden Club would welcome another killer in their ranks, but I was sadly wrong. I never guessed who the Sinisters were, but on retrospective it's actually quite obvious. Well played, scumbags, well played indeed. Anyway, this was a great experience. I'm just thinking that after this, maybe EB would enjoy a simpler game for a change. My game was a total deviation from the norm, Eurodina was far from standard as well, and this madhouse of a game made everyone lose their minds. But we have Werewolf Mafia coming up next, let's see what it brings with it. -
Thanks, Davey. Actually, no. I know of the game, but haven't played it. And the prince wasn't killed, but the Emperor.
