  1. They look great, but I don't think I could do something like that to my precious bricks. Maybe if I bought some extras from Bricklink...
  2. Haha, true to his name.
  3. Thanks for the awesome game, def! And the best of luck to the rest of the players.
  4. I've thrown out all of the boxes I've had simply because I don't have room for them, and I'm not planning to sell my Lego anyway. I don't keep any sets sealed in their boxes either. This is exactly what I do, as a MOC'er: I build everything I buy once, then dismantle them and sort them into various containers that I have. I want all of my precious pieces to be available to me when I build a MOC. It's each to his own, really. Nobody's going to reprimand you for doing one way or the other. All that matters is what you yourself want from your Lego hobby.
  5. I don't think people around here have much faith left in anybody. Job well done indeed, Jebus. Jokes aside, I really can't say I know a single innocent besides myself for sure. I trust some people, but not 100% because they might have been converted since I last talked to them. All attempts at gathering our ranks have failed miserably so far. Like Jebus, I'm beginning to doubt there's something really fishy going on in this game of life. This is all starting to sound like a witch hunt to me too, but on the other hand, someone has been killing people every night, so we really have no choice but to keep voting people off and hope we hit the jackpot eventually. But that won't happen as long as we let ourselves be mislead, and I strongly believe Ted Thompkins is doing exactly that with his claims of immortality.
  6. Greatness! The function of this forum is so much clearer now. Let's just hope it stays that way. Big thanks to WhiteFang and the rest of the admins!
  7. How about when I revealed that the number of Sinisters was a prime number yesterday? Why would've I asked Henry about something like that if I were a Sinister, huh? And why would I lie about something like that, since a Sinister would've just kept his or her mouth shut about the whole thing. So you've revealed either a roleblocker or a protector, it seems. I'll have to look into this more, so I'll change my vote for now. Unvote: TimTam Timmers/Lord Arjay Vote: Ted Tompkins/WhiteFang, because I simply do not trust those who claim they are both invincible and innocent.
  8. This is all reindeer bollocks, I tell you! We've been lead on by someone for far too long. None of our clues have lead to anything, our investigators are either worthless or dead, and we've apparently got a vigilante on our side as well who has done nothing but kill other innocent ones. This is just great, isn't it? I'm going to go with my eyes and vote: TimTam Timmers/Lord Arjay because of the damned photo. It's not like we have any other clues to go with either. I'd also like to lynch Ted Tompkins and Nurse Pendleton, but unfortunately I only get one vote. Some of us have a life despite being locked up in this damned place, you know?
  9. I'd love a minifigure set that would include pairs of figs (male and female) from different eras of history in an authentic style. The Fairytale And Historic Minifigures collection was a big disappointment in this area, since it only featured figs rehashed from existing parts without much thought put to them. The figs in my dream collection would be from: - Prehistoric Era (incl. furs and bones) - Ancient Egypt (incl. loincloths and jewelry) - Ancient Greece/Rome (incl. togas and tunics) - Viking Age (incl. barbarian outfits) - Dark Ages (incl. poor, ragged clothes) - Renaissance (incl. pink, frilled garments) - Feudal Japan (incl. a kimono and hakama pants) - Wild West (incl. a cowboy hat and a bonnet) - Industrial Age (incl. a top hat and a parasol) - 1960's (incl. hippie outfits) - Modern Age (incl. casual clothing) - Future (incl. futuristic clothes)
  10. Omicron is right. The light blue halberd is from the Harry Potter set "Rescue from the Merfolk", but as for the trans-pink bar, I think I got it with a strange customized Princess Leia minifig I ordered from Ebay. The fig came with a pink lightsaber and a custom-made white cape, but other pieces were official. But I'm sure the piece is originally from a Belville set. Thanks for the comments, everyone! I know this comic is quite colorful, so I hope you guys tip me off if it becomes too busy or unreadable in any way. I can imagine it makes no sense when read from right to left. Glad you enjoyed it!
  11. Good call. I've been fascinated by Steampunk for years, and I'm pleased to have finally built something based on it. If you've played any of the older Final Fantasy games, you'll notice that they too are somewhat inspired by Steampunk too.
  12. Hi guys! As some of you may already know, the Comic Queen is back with a whole new story that combines my two favorite franchises: Final Fantasy and LEGO. As was the case with my previous comics as well, I build MOCs for settings to my stories, and what I think are the best of those MOCs get featured in a topic of their own. So here is a closer look on the airship that is featured in the second part to my comic FINAL FANTASY LEGO: Crystal Hearts. Let me introduce you to the Dirigible Onion. As you can see, the small airship is built on a ship hull, and it features a bulb-shaped balloon that gives the ship it's name, and two propellers. You can tell I'm no airship engineer, since in real life this sort of a ship wouldn't probably even leave the ground. The figurehead is a king carved from wood. There's a pair of dragon wings acting as the rudder. The little cabin features the steering wheel and a staircase leading below deck. The deck holds some bottles of gas (you need those in an airship, right?) and a few barrels. There's also a liftable grid on the floor so that the cargo can be loaded in. Off to new adventures! This was my first attempt at building an airship, and I think it turned out rather cute. However, I'm planning on building a much bigger airship for the future parts of the comic, so any helpful tips are very much appreciated.
  13. Oh come on, that train left the station eight years ago. No use crying about it anymore, fleshie minifigs for licensed themes are here to stay.
  14. The answer was that the eastbound train arrives shortly after the westbound train, so it's more likely that Shadows comes to the train station before the westbound train than the eastbound. And I'm sure those of you who haven't visited the Garden are totally perplexed by this.
  15. Part Two of FINAL FANTASY LEGO: Crystal Hearts is now released here. There's an airship in it!
  16. I answered the riddle correctly, and got to ask how many Sinisters there are in the hospital. The answer was "a prime number". So it could be 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19 or 23. I personally suspect the number is 5 or 7. So there. I tried to spread this knowledge via bathroom discussions, but apparently it didn't reach everyone. As for Pavlov, we cannot change our vote now, no matter how convincing he sounds. Otherwise we won't know if Petey's night action works or not.
  17. If you speak the truth, Pavlov, we will mourn you in the morning. Thanks for voicing out your suspicions instead of going all bitter on us. Sorry to say that this is the only way we can come close to finding out the truth. Ho ho ho, it's time for you to go! If you speak the truth, Pavlov, we will mourn you in the morning. Thanks for voicing out your suspicions instead of going all bitter on us. Sorry to say that this is the only way we can come close to finding out the truth. Ho ho ho, it's time for you to go!
  18. I know, but that name is reserved for a more major character. Thanks! So glad they released an Aayla Secura figure last year.
  19. Part Two of the comic is now online, titled "Diamond to Dust, Love to Ashes". There are no new main characters featured in the chapter, but you are introduced to one of the summoned spirits familiar to fans of Final Fantasy series. There will be several more encountered in later chapters.
  20. Now onto the second part of the comic. I've added an index to the first post of this topic to keep everybody in track.
  21. Shouldn't the topics about Collectable Minifigures be concentrated here as well? I don't think they fit the General Discussion & News section very well, especially since there's so many topics about them there.
  22. A piece of advice, if you may: don't overthink it.
  23. That sounds awfully lot like Martin Century's "if you don't vote with me, you're scum" philosophy. You can't directly interpret a differing opinion to be a mark of a Sinister. And even if we can trust Salvatore to be a good guy now, wouldn't the Sinisters want to convert or kill him as soon as possible. And then, if we pick a new "proxy carrier", they'd do that to him or her as well. We can try it out, of course, and hope it nets us at least something.
  24. But what prevents a Sinister from proxying their vote to Salvatore as well? It's pretty obvious now that Pavlov will be convicted, unless something totally new comes up. The Sinisters are most likely to just jump in the bandwagon along with the rest of us, even if it costs them one of their own - especially now that you've made this plan all public. The truth is that even if Pavlov was found guilty, we might wake up tomorrow with Petey dead and we'll be back to square one in our search for the naughty ones. So yeah, I'm not sure what we're trying to achieve here, but I'll go along with it to show my support. Unvote: Havel Pavlov/sok117 Proxy: Salvatore/Dragonator
  25. I came to the same conclusion as Jebus about the nature of Petey's role. But think of it this way: right now it seems our options are to vote out either Pavlov (sok117) or Petey (Peanuts). Since it's not likely both of them are normal insane (even though that is possible with the "random results" option), we will find out the truth by the next morning, no matter which one of them we vote for. And a choice between a potential investigator and a silent tag-along is not really that hard, is it?
