It's not supposed to be, this is Sham we're talking about here after all. The heroes just need to pull the right ropes with him...
-
There was already mythril on sale at the Souk in Salmanda in Quest#14.
-
"Now mythril, that is something I can get you. How would 600 gold sound to you?"

Sham whips up an expression full of despair and agony to his face. "Oh I would love to give you even a bigger discount, but poor old me has been rotting in that cell for weeks, feeding on rats and licking the salt off the stonewalls. I have to catch up with the income I've lost during that time, you must understand that. What would momma say if I returned to her empty-handed..." -
The man shakes his hooded head. "I'm sorry, I am a black market salesman, not an artefact crafter. I can only bring you items that actually exist. Although, I have heard of an exceedingly rare gem that combines all elements. I just do not know where to get one."
-
That's not Chesterine in the pink hat, but a male wizard. And the Miracleworker certainly isn't in the picture. All the others are correct.
-
The shady man reminds the party that he can only get them one item at a time. He can offer them any gem for 50 gold.

As the weary heroes return to the city, the sun sets below the horizon. Another night has arrived. ~FOURTH NIGHT IN SALMANDA~ At the souk, a familiar figure emerges from the shadows. "Ah, you have come to retrieve the shovel I got you, barbarian", the skeleton-suited merchant says. He then exchanges a shovel for one gold from Thormanil. The party walk past the hut and follow the eastern edge of the bog. Without any disturbances, the heroes arrive back to the northern entrance of Kalakita Bog, where the Cobra Priest is already waiting for them. "Ah, you have survived an encounter with the wyvern, I see. I recognize your blade as the tip of the drake's tail, good barbarian. This is splendid news, now I can finally travel back home to Kalma Badlands. Thank you a thousand times, and may the blessing of the serpent gods be upon you forever. Here, let me give you these as a reward for taking out the foul beast. And if you ever visit Addis Vipara in Kalma, just ask for Cobra Priest Djuvali and perhaps I can return this favor." 120 gold 8x Deadly Venom - Use on a weapon to make it cause the badly poisoned-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle. A badly poisoned enemy loses 10 health each turn. How will these rewards be divided?

"What are you blathering on about? You should know who you've got imprisoned here, this is your damn fortress! I just happened to get on a wrong ship from Newharbour... This ain't no Eubric, that much I can tell. And I just wanted to pay my momma a visit." "Wait a minute, so you are not pirates after all? That's swell, now can you get me out of here? I am no more and no less than Sham Poo, the Vagrant Merchant. Pleased to make your acquaintance! I tell you what; if you release me, I can give you a browse through my wares. They are all top-notch products, I can tell you. Very rare and extremely exquisite." -
OoC: Actually, this is the route you've covered. Baba's hut is located currently on the northeastern corner of Danab's Fountain.

OoC: I'm moving the quest on, but I still need Khorne to divvy up the loot. As the party approaches the jail cell, the prisoner locked within it stands up and dashes to the bars holding him in. There is a large backpack leaning against the wooden bench inside the cell. "Finally, I'm starving! I thought nobody was coming to feed me today! How long are you going to keep me locked in here, anyway? I have told you over and over again, this bag only opens to me, and it always reappears to my side even if you take it to the other side of the world. It is enchanted that way, do you get it? No matter how long you keep me here, you will not get your filthy hands on my wares! They are for paying customers only, not for ragtag pirates!" The party stares at the ranting greenskinned man. He looks vaguely orcish, but he is definitely not a full-blooded one. How will the party reply. -
Endgame, I cannot add you to the list of players until you've posted a picture of your character along with all the required information (you are still missing age, gender and race). Please do that asap, thanks!
-
Which path does the party take? They are now at the southern end of the bog.
-
Does the party return to the entrance of the bog the way they came from, or do they want to take some other route in hopes of finding Baba's broomstick?

"Pray tell me, what would I do with a dead child? Your young friend is sound asleep back at my hut now. I brewed up a potion that lowered the fewer and allowed him rest, but I cannot do anything about the virus. So if you are concerned, you should hurry up and get those remedies. And don't forget to haggle, the merchants at the Souk tend to up their prices for foreigners." Now that the drake has been vanquished, the party must figure out how to purify the fountain before they can use the water to save Zelda and Bluto. Then a familiar figure approaches them. "So, you bested that pesky lizard. I'm mildly impressed. Now you are probably wondering what you can do to get rid of this filth ruining the fountain. Well, I would certainly try to remedy the situation if I just cared enough. Too bad I don't." The witch snickers. "I would say about two dozen should be enough..." What will the party do next? If they go back to Salmanda, it will be night again when they reach the city.

Like Zepher said, he's still updating the index. I have written a profile for every NPC on my quest and the related topics, now. Sure, I'll update it. Huh? I did reply to Tarn... Was there a second letter that I missed? He might if he has time to reply.

Well, I don't mind but Khorne might, since he already established the Norse pantheon on the Library topic last year. But it's totally alright, the north is a vast place so there can be several pantheons in existence there as well. Besides, Thoric isn't a far cry from Torrik, a god in Khorne's pantheon.

On the second floor of a small inconspicuous apotechary on Marlin Road, the bedridden Ellaria Arbour is awakened by a flash of bright light and a soft voice calling her out. Wearily the cleric opens her eyes to see a female wizard in pink and black standing on her bedside. "Greetings! I hope I am not disturbing you. My name is Valentine Ziegfried, and I'm the Head Transportrix of the family. You have heard about the Ziegfried family, haven't you? I'm being silly, of course you have! Well, I just wanted to inform that the fabulous offer of free use of the Z-Mail service to the heroes of Heroica is ending today. I noticed you have a few unanswered letters from good friends there on your table, so I was wondering if you were still willing to use the offer to write up a response to them. And while you are writing, would it trouble you to answer to this customer feedback questionnaire? It would mean the world to me!" Ellaria stares at the woman blankly. Droplets of sweat trickle down her forehead. Couldn't the pesky mage see she is ill? And what letters was she even talking about? Ellaria turns her head to see two unopened envelopes on the small table next to her bed. The Zeigfried woman takes out a sheet of paper from her bag and lays it on top of the letters. "Ah, I see that I have arrived at an unopportune moment. You just answer this when you've got the time, if you please. Bye now, Miss Arbour, and thank you for using Z-Mail! Oh, and please tell my congrats to the father as well." With that, the wizard was gone. The baffled Ellaria was wide awake now, so she reached out for the letters, dropping Valentine's questionnaire on the floor. She then opened the letters and saw that they were from a few more people at Heroica. Ellaria felt warm inside, and a slight smile spread on her face as she read the letters. She then gathered her strength and concentration to write short replies to both of them. Dear Althior, Of course I remember you. I am pregnant, not demented. I do not know how much Lexie has told you, but if you want to, please come visit me with Alexis some day. Your friend always, ~Ellaria Dear Alf, Thank you for the pendant, it is lovely and soothing. I feel the presence of my goddess in it, so your gift comes as a blessing. It is true that I am not well at the moment. If you want to hear more, please come visit me with Alexis. It would mean a lot to me to see my friends one last time, if this condition of mine leads to the worst. Your friend, ~Ellaria Sealing both letters into envelopes, Ellaria utters the enchanted words that whisk the letters away. She then falls back to her restless sleep, where a giant demon baby chases after her, threatening to squash her under a soft foot. Alexis, Althior and Alf come to her rescue, and together they fight the baby. And as Ellaria strikes the baby with her fiery staff, she cries bitterly. ~The event has concluded.~

Sorry, it must have been a case of sloppy copy&paste on my part. I fixed it now, and added a mention of the advanced job classes to everyone who has chosen them. Speaking of which, there will be some minor fixes/rebalances on some of the advanced classes (at least Shaman, Hunter and a couple of others) very soon, so please check back. Now I have to go close the "Ethereal Letters" event. Hope you had fun with it!
