Not THAT drunk. XP Ebay'd that monster. Entertaining lol but doesn't feel serious. I want a serious business AT-AT. :P

Oh geeze I really don't want a crappy Ultimate Spiderman macrofigure Green Goblin... XP. I hate that interpretation of the character. He's not the freakin' hulk!

Giselle is basically a Disney Princess. The only reason she wasn't is someone lawyered up and wanted royalties so they're not allowed to market her as one. :/

Well lets see the System set... maybe it's a good enough upgrade. The biggest ATAT is like 66-75% the size of what a proper minifigure scale would be. Maybe if it's bigger and more true... it could still be cool. I'm hoping it's not motorized. While kind of fun unless done right it looks like an idiot is driving. And it also takes away from the look.

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
BrickG replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For all we know Knex has a non-compete thingy in their contract prohibiting Nintendo from even considering LEGO (despite that Knex hasn't done anything with Zelda). I'm sure a Zelda set would sell like hotcakes. Not as much as Minecraft but probably at least as much as the Delorean which seems to be selling quite well so far. But again, the main thing is molds. They'd need several. The only way they'd do new molds is if they had a whole line of 6-7, probably around the time a new Zelda game came out. But that won't likely happen. And while I'm sure ONE Zelda set would sell well based mostly on nerd nostalgia like with BttF I'm not sure it's got enough modern power (due to the lack of a TV show, Movie or even a new game coming out for years) to support a whole wave. Even though Skyward Sword was an amazing game the Zelda series isn't selling as well as it used to. -

All this talk about the "cigar" makes me wonder if you guys have terrible eyes lol. It's pretty clear exactly what it is.

Hey! It doesn't move like a completely drunk moron is driving unlike my official motorized AT-AT!

It's a realistic statement. Natalie Portman's character fell in love with him just because of that scene, at least that's what I could deduce with the complete lack of character development (it was super rushed :P).

I really freakin' hope the AT-AT Collector Series rumor is true. Probably isn't... I'd buy like 2 of them. Still mainly waiting for the next Collectors Millennium Falcon but I figure that's not going to happen for years. :(

Thor because of the movies at this point is probably more iconic without his helmet, at least to non-comic people. Kind of like how you constantly see people want Loki without his helmet for the Lego sets. :P

Going to attack STAR TREK minifigure customs.
BrickG replied to BrickG's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Well I've kind of stalled on the prints. Can't find a print shop that can handle them near me. Don't want to rely on someone else because I fully expect the prints to need adjusting after several "test" prints, and doing those by mail would suck. And printers of sufficient quality are so freakin' expensive I can't get myself to pull the trigger. I have everything ready for this stuff except a darned printer. -
Her red hair looks nothing like what it's supposed to look like. In fact she probably least resembles her character out of all of them.

Portal bigger than LoZ? I'm not sure about that. They're both big but Zelda has a history. And the argument that outside of the fans Portal is more recognizable... I think is completely wrong :P. Anyways LoZ passed yet another one and it'll fail the review yet again. New molds! Maybe if a new game was coming they could coincide and actually be worth the risk to Lego but... I'm thinking a larger ranged "Nintendo" theme would be more realistic (Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, etc). Also not as a Cuusoo. But I'd say that has a 1% chance of happening. -
Babylon 5 interviews, artwork and other stuff
BrickG replied to Triple F's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Deep Space Nine > Babylon 5. On another note, Babylon 5 has aged a lot worse than DS9. Maybe it was the aged CGI (DS9 actually looks good still) or the music. -
As a TMNT fan honestly most of the TMNT sets are kind of crappy. I buy them for the minifigures.

Have zero interest in Manbat. I feel like they did him just because they had the parts available :P. I'd rather get like.. Clayface. Or something else that's possible without a new mold like Slade.

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
BrickG replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Lego games suck about bugs. I've had to restart missions several times in basically each one. It sucks 'cause the missions are pretty long... I wish they were half as long and twice as much. Nothing like running into the SAME bug on a mission, towards the end and having to restart it several times in a row. -
I need the new Chewie.... it looks very good... about time that ancient minfigure got an upgrade...
-
Supposedly now Harrison Ford has yet to sign on to the new Star Wars and is trying to get them to agree to Indiana Jones 5 for his signature. I feel okay about that :P. 4 sucked. It would be nice to see it out in a better way.

I wonder how different the Hulk will be. Never did get one.

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
BrickG replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
You act as though in order to be iconic it has to reach 100% of people. Some people haven't even seen Star Wars. It's because they're out of touch with popular culture as much as you are. :P Seriously, arguing that the Superman theme isn't iconic or well known is crazy. You're basing your opinions on your own personal experiences and not looking outside of your limited point of view. Maybe my own point of view about the game isn't the popular point of view, at least I know that. But again, to argue that the Superman theme isn't iconic is just plain out of touch. -
Anyone know if the better late than never new Chewie has a new crossbow? I'm also sick of his medieval style one with the arrow on top...
