When it comes to a $700 Falcon the measurement in Lego sales isn't the only thing to consider. That thing would make the news over and over like the first one did. Sales would be measured more than just of the set but of the advertising and attention Lego as a whole would get. Now if that would make it worth it (the first UCS Falcon didn't seem to be a huge financial success) I have no idea but it's something to think about for Lego.

I wish they'd do better builds. At this point I'm almost 100% only interested in the minifigures. I love minifigures. But I'm tired of buying sets just for minifigures. I'm also tired of every other set having a Batmobile ;p.

I think Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch look fine. Their uniforms were crazy enough to not work in the real world (especially Scarlet Witch). I'm not saying this is the best they could do but it's good enough.

I think both sets look fine. I wish there was a way to properly do the Tardis Doors but hey, you can't win everything. I also wish there was a way to do daleks that don't suck. Daleks NEED their own molds. But again, you can't win everything.

A lot of these ideas on here make no business sense and are ideas of fans. :P

I actually liked them calling him Slade. A villain without a ridiculous name? I'm all for that :P.

How does TLG profit from reselling? Selling used products nets them $0. Yeah it might get them some attention but I bet a new USC Falcon would get them more attention and more money significantly.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion

Well it matches his throne room from the TV show pretty well so I can't complain. I need a throne room myself. -

I want that Shredder. I want nothing else. I hate when that happens :P. -
So soon? What?

It matters how the merchandising for the first Incredibles was. Also didn't Toy Story do pretty bad and it's an extremely popular movie franchise? Hmmmm seems riskier than some other more proven options. Though Lego seems willing to take risks (see Sands of Time and cowboy movie my brain is farting on the name right now). I can't say it's gone that well for them :p.

I wish we got another Splinter, maybe with legs this time. People hated him for no reason. He's a good representation of him in the show. I also want his green cane. As for Casey Jones he's significant. I'm guessing if there's a 2015 wave we'll see him. -
It's about time if true. I've somehow got zero palpatines.

Pretty cool. Reminds me of the Hutt in Carbonite in Star Wars TOR.

Can I troll it now? I gave some of it a watch. It's freakin' one of the most terrible things I've ever seen. No laughs. Nothing but stupid. And the animation is cheap looking. I now want to die.

Five set's Lego should've made for Indiana Jones
BrickG replied to legomtron's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's too bad Lego won't do Nazi stuff. I mean, from a historical perspective it's a fascinating (yet terrible) time. Though I do suppose you don't want to run the risk of kids thinking anything positive about Nazis :P. "I wanna play as the Nazi this time! I'm always Indiana Jones!" :p -
"Confirmed" via random sources isn't really "confirmed" at all. Take everything as a rumor until you see some actual proof. Proof = confirmation. Until you get proof it's just banter.

I don't know why Lego doesn't do what Skylander does and sell some content with minifigures and sets. Now, I won't be playing this but it would seem to be a good move assuming the game doesn't suck like the last Lego MMO did. That might be a big assumption because looking at the videos it doesn't look much different and is using the same old Lego video game tropes that people have gotten tired of.

KREO owns not only the new movies license but all of Trek. So we can't even get TNG or anything until that license drops. I'd say Cuusoo would be the best chance. Star Trek toys even with the new movies don't seem to sell well these days. They need a series to support them. Though like Zelda I fear that you couldn't do it properly without new molds. What the crap would you do for Worf? There are zero good options. And we have a fearful lack of that 90s hairdo that half the characters seem to have (Riker, Data, slicked back simple hair). And no options for Geordi's hair either (unless you accept it looking ridiculous).

A deathstroke helmet would be fine. Not really needed but fine. Some of his incarnations (like Teen Titans) have him wearing a very masky helmet. Others have him wearing just a fabric'ish mask. It doesn't really matter. I'd also hope we'd get Ras'al'Gul (spelling)... I mean seriously... he's awesome! He wouldn't take any new molds. Just give him a fancy suit, cape and the wolverine hair with white streaks. No, not the shirtless stupid looking Lego video game version.

This KREE d00d will probably be revealed around the time Guardians of the Galaxy happens. Meaning SHIELD is going slow half because of the movies :P. The show really needs to speed up and become more interesting. I wonder if Karen Gillan would be willing to appear on SHIELD. Or Chris Pratt. They're both pretty TV friendly.

Assuming the license doesn't get swallowed but before hand I think the patterns suggest Doctor Who has a really good chance. Look a the previous ones. A lot of science based stuff (or science fiction). A lot of classics and retro things that have sold surprisingly well. I'm not sure Doctor Who could support a full wave of sets, simply because it's nowhere near as popular in larger markets like the USA (like 20% of the people in the UK watch Doctor Who and it's more like 1 in 300 here). But if it's just one iconic set with the tardis much like they took the most iconic stuff of BttF and Ghostbusters I think it would do very well (neither or which could support much more than 1 set, if any more). It fits the patterns perfectly. It's got potential sales. It doesn't have controversy unlike the NOT HAPPENING Big Bang Theory. It's my bet on the winner. -
He's lying. You're going to be sick of that Batmobile because there's too many Batmobiles and you only bought the set for the Flash. :) I'm kind of sad because my flash has a large sloppy misprint with a yellow streak on its mask on an eye area. Are sloppy misprints getting more common? I have a decent amount of exclusive figures that have crappy misprints on them.

LEGO shouldn't make new parts for a year?
BrickG replied to legolijntje's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Does this include minifigure parts? 'Cause I vote no just because of that. I probably wouldn't care if there were no new non-minifigure parts because there are still so many options. Though I'd probably still vote no because some sets just demand it like if there was a new minifigure scale Millennium Falcon I'd want a proper cockpit piece. -

I think talking about the BBT set is useless. No chance. It has none. It's not going to be made.
