Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Walter Kovacs replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It sounds more like he's dubious that the sentry droid is even considered a minifig. And I don't remember the droid being there in the original film, only in the re-released special edition. How I wish they would have both versions on DVD, so I can see the films as I saw them in the theater. -

Crap, you're right. I forgot Frankfurt had Nat. Talent. Thanks for your honesty. And you're welcome for the ADJ. I feel like I wasn't very descriptive in the write-ups, though. -

While walking down the tunnel, I'd like to study the ceiling, floor and walls for anything unusual. How many people stayed behind at the farmhouse(and who), and how many are in the tunnel? I'd like to speak with James Falzone, Will Ackerson and Patrick Jefferson in Private. All at once, If I can manage that. Also I'd like to compare the note found in the armory with the note found at the farm this morning. Does the handwriting look similar or exact? -

Round 3 Diana Fabray vs Frankfurt Flashburn Health - 2 Health - 3 Crucio - 0 Stupefy - 0 Protego - 0 Expelliarmus - 1 High - 1 Low - 0 Expelliarmus - 0 High - 0 Protego - 0 Mid - 0 Health - 1 Health - 2 Looking to finish off the duel quickly, Frankfurt fires off a Stupefy curse, only to see his spell meet Fabray's in a massive shower of sparks. Frankfurt tries to disarm his opponent before making his next move, and is delighted when Diana falls hard to the ground, hitting her head. Enraged, the Slytherin fires a hex at Flashburn's head, knocking him to the ground as well. Getting to their feet, Frankfurt attempts a high attack, but his wand is deftly flicked away. Diana protects herself from the Hufflepuff's final attack, but the damage has been done already. Frankfurt Flashburn emerges victorious. Winner: Frankfurt Flashburn Great duel, both of you. Update your profiles accordingly. And I will send my Round 3 DS. -

I'd like to pull a piece of the metal out of the wall, if I can do it safely. If I succeed, I'd like to examine it (size, shape, type, etc). -
Considering how often Israel has qualified in the past (once, in 1970) and what league they have to qualify out of (UEFA), I don't see it happening. But I'm sure that if they do qualify, the people of Qatar would welcome them. At least I'd hope that they would. Yeah. Ancient. What I wouldn't give to be that ancient again.

Just make sure you keep one photo of the old version for comparisons sake. I can't wait to see the improvements.

It might just be my eyes playing tricks on me. But it looks to me like the front end sags just a bit. Bah, I'm getting old.

Thanks CM, DS sent. -
I know of at least one person who would die and go to heaven if that were ever to happen. That sounds like an excellent idea. But a UCS TIE Fighter needs to come first. Nice rant there, Doc. I agree with almost everything you said there.

Now that the pictures are a much better size... This looks very good. I assume the CIS symbol is done with stickers? The plate technique looks a little gappy (it always does), but I understand about the lack of parts. Overall there is a lot of good detail. The only thing I noticed is that it looks like the front end is sagging. That's unfortunate.

After seeing this review, I'm actually a little less inclined to buy this set. The section under the engines on the bottom looks terrible and blocky, like LEGO just tacked it on to be functional, completely abandoning any attempt to make it mesh with the rest of the ship. If it weren't for the minifigs, I wouldn't even give this one a second look, honestly. Except for that whole OCD, collectors thing, which means I'll have to get it eventually. The review itself isn't bad, but certainly could be improved. Big Cam thinks that all reviews should come from Reviewers Academy reviewers, or be of the same quality. I can't say I disagree too much, though some non-RA reviews are far worse than this one. /end shameless plug

I'm always ready to lose duel. I figure the law of averages has to come around into my favor sometime. Right? -
Welcome to Eurobricks Stephen. I am from Missouri, and like Cam started out in the Star Wars forum. I've since migrated to almost every forum, especially the Mafia and Wargames board. Hope to see you around.

Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Four
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
How wide is the tunnel (wide enough for one person, two people standing shoulder to shoulder, or even wider? Does it look like the North end of the tunnel collapsed, or is it just unfinished, like no one bothered digging anymore? I'd like to follow the tunnel south as long as everyone in front of me is moving. I'll examine the walls for any irregularities as we go. -

Round 2 Diana Fabray vs Frankfurt Flashburn Health - 3 Health - 5 Crucio - 0 Expelliarmus - 0 Mid - 1 High - 0 Mid - 1 High - 0 Protego - 0 Stupefy - 0 Mid - 0 Low - 1 Health - 2 Health - 3 Diana Fabray re-entered the dueling circle with fire in her eyes. It wasn't supposed to be this way, she was one of the BEST. She started off with a forbidden curse, only to find the once again the Hufflepuff was waiting with a defensive spell. Letting out a frustrated scream Diana fired off two quick hexes to Frankfurt's midsection. She cringed, expecteing to feel the all too familiar backlash, but was delighted to see both land, knocking her opponent to the ground. When he raised his wand once again, this time she was the one ready with a defensive spell. She had the upper hand at last! Diana tried one last curse to Frankfurt's middle, but instead found her legs taken out by his well timed strike. Diana limped away to prepare for the next round. The comeback has begun. DS for Round 3, please. -

I'm more than willing to let the policemen go first. I'll enter the tunnel after they go in. Once in, I'd like a description of the tunnel. Do all of the circled locations on the map found at the Lighthouse roughly line up? (Lighthouse, Town Hall, Department Store and Farm, IIRC) I'm wondering if the circled locations on the map all have entrances into this tunnel. -

Diana Fabray vs Frankfurt Flashburn Health - 6 Health - 5 Low - 0 Low - 1 Crucio - 0 Expelliarmus - 0 Mid - 0 Mid - 1 Expelliarmus - 0 Stupefy - 0 High - 0 High - 1 Health - 3 Health - 5 Diana Fabray and Frankfurt Flashburn renew their rivalry. Diana looks to avenge her recent loss, and starts off with a hex towards Franfurt's legs. But Frankfurt has faced Diana before, and fires his own hex back at Diana. Stunned by the pain, Diana tries to counter with a Crucio, but Frankfurt is ready with a disarming charm. Diana tries desparately to hit the Hufflepuff in the midsection, but again Frankfurt has anticipated her attack, countering with a similar spell. As Frankfurt moves in for an advanced spell, Diana stalls by flicking his wand away. Desparately she tries an attack towards Frankfurt's head, only to find that, yet again, Frankfurt is ready for her. She welcomes the break between rounds to regroup. Yet again, Diana struggles against Natural Talent. DS for Round 2, please. -

The way the federal government is handling things, that explosion was probably Captain Ted's boat. They did say they needed to disable it so that the commies couldn't use it to escape. I guess that means there's no dust on the floor? I'd like to have a description of the interior of the store. Any counters, shelves along the walls, something else defining except the boxes? I'd also like to check for trapdoors in the floor, looking under where the boxes are. I'll move the boxes so that Tim can look in them more efficiently. -

Before anyone enters the store, I'd like to get a good look at the floor, to see if any dust has been distrurbed anywhere. You'd think they'd at least tell the local government something. -

And suddenly there's plenty of information on the NW. If any of it was true. Like a lot of things people have been wondering about, they will get explained after the conclusion. I think I can answer a lot of questions. Don't worry, I've got all of mine saved. And I'll be glad to get them out of my inbox.
