  1. I asked this question before, but never got an answer: Captain Ted, you mentioned that Jackie was your "new" wife. How long have you been married?
  2. I don't have a whole lot of Technic that isn't associated with a set, so I keep Bricks and Liftarms in one drawer, and everything else (mostly pins and axles) in another.
  3. I had a pretty decent haul. From my wife: '06 Clone Turbo Tank Original Republic Gunship (forgot the year on that one ) '06 Droid Tri-Fighter '06 Clone Scout Walker From the Mother-in-law: '10 Grevious Starfighter '10 Clone Turbo Tank Freeco Speeder
  4. I don't even try and hide it. Heck, my mother-in-law is my best source of new sets. She has deep pockets I keep a photo of one of my MOCs as a background on my computer at work. Add to it the Bionicle that is climbing over the monitor, and you get the effect.
  5. The only thing that stops me from agreeing with you is that we might see a hidden roof hatch, something not visable from inside the third floor of the department store. It's a long shot, but I'd hate to miss it. On the other hand, I don't think searching the fire station from top to bottom is a good use of time. Just a quick romp up to the roof, see if tehre is anything to see up there, then on to the Jefferson residence. We might not even have to cross over to the Department Store roof, if there doesn't look like there is anything to see. Is the Fire House open? We had to get the fire truck to put out the Lakota from somewhere.
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks, Sinjid. I saw your review (all three of them ), and it wasn't bad.
  7. I love the lighting effect in this scene. Very well done. And you guys need to try a little harder identifying the non-Taun Taun. It clearly looks to me to be one of these dinosaur heads.
  8. Nice review starstreak. This is one of the must haves for the winter 2011 lineup. Starstreak got this through LEGO.com. Anyone know which brick and mortar store is going to carry it for certain yet? I've seen your CIS army. I'm shocked that you might get two or three of these.
  9. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, and I wish wish everyone a Happy New Year. Hope it was filled with LEGO (I know mine was ).
  10. So far from what I've seen there are only two must haves for me in the fall wave: the Geonosian Fighter and the Dathomir Speeder. The Falcon looks OK, I'm not too thrilled with the Frigate, The podracers look better than their '99 counterparts, but I never did like that scene very much in TPM (trying too hard to be another Endor speeder chase, IMO), Yet ANOTHER Sith Infiltrator. Still, if I ever win the lottery I will buy all of them. That's a big if at this point.
  11. Welcome Daniil K. That is a nice little vig you have there. I look forward to seeing more from you.
  12. Welcome back Steel Dragon. Ah, a kindred spirit!
  13. Welcome, Javert. I picked up the Les Mis reference immediately. For those interested in reading the book, I HIGHLY recommend the abridged version. I didn't, and found out ol' Victor gets a bit wordy. Like the 250 page treatise on the Paris sewers that was completely unnecessary. Or the 150 pages on a side character that appears once and is never mentioned again. Still a great book, and an even better musical.
  14. Welcome to EB Drathalieo. Unlike Geertos, I'll likely see you around the SW and Action Figure forums.
  15. Welcome to EB ToaAtraks. I love to see some good Bionicle style MOCs. Looking forward to seeing what you have.
  16. Welcome lysk. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
  17. Welcome to EB, Ray. Yes we could. If you're interested, feel free to join the Reviewers Academy. You can learn more here.
  18. Just to reiterate: Laura Jefferson died four years ago by falling off the Department Store roof. Valerie Jenkins died this morning by a thrown knife. I can't speak for anyone else, but it certainly looks to me like the knife was meant for me.
  19. I was just going over some of my notes. I realized that noone showed much interest in a relatively fresh bloodstain in the Hotel, and a bloody knife in the trachcan. I ask the police officers present, have there been any reports of a missing person in, say, the last few weeks? Also, can someone examine the knife that killed Valerie Jenkins. Is it similar to the ones we found earlier? Chief Phelps has the earlier knives that we have found. How close together are the Fire Department and the Department Store? Are the roofs about the same height?
  20. No problem about the lateness. I fully understand. Just so you know, I sent my 2nd round DS by adding to the previous PM.
  21. Stevie, you do relize that the Hotel has ladders just lying around, due to their construction, don't you? I'd like to find a ladder at the Hotel that is long (and sturdy) enough to reach the roof. Seeing as there is no roof access, I am really wondering how Laura got up there. I'm also wondering why this question didn't appear in the police report. Oh, and for those that are confused, Laura Jefferson died four years ago. Mrs. Jenkins was the one that perished as a result of the attempt on my life this morning (seems like such a long time ago ). Let's try and keep things straight, people.
  22. Creepy!? Professor Diem is decidedly not creepy. Just look at that full, plush, sexy beard. It's a fine line between pure genius and insanity. And I've walked that line on the side of genius for years. Someday the world will realize just how brilliant I am, and then I shall be vindicated.
  23. I have to admit, once I knew Quarryman was after you I sold you out. I'm not sure if I was the first, but I definitely sent him your way. I was trying to keep him off of Iamded, so I at least had a decent reason. It backfired, unfortunately, as someone (I believe it was Stash) went and blabbed both Iamded and Eskallon's name in the day thread. After that it was a Noodles team scramble to try and kill Quarry before he got to Iamded.
  24. Remind me again, did the Department Store have a Fire Escape? And if it did, does it extend to the roof? Otherwise, I would like to go to the third floor and find the roof access.
  25. I too would like to see the roof of the Department Store. Afterword, I still think the Jefferson Residence should be our next stop. It is the only place on the map that we found that was circled that we haven't visited.
