I'm glad to see I was wrong. Day 13 has been terribly confusing. I love it! Go Noodles! -
Does that mean the minifig only comes with one hand? I think it is more likely to be from ANH. I think no matter what, a LEGO Falcon is going to include Han and Chewie. I've always associated those two with the MF. Now it would be cool if it also included Lando, Endor Luke and Nien Numb (it was Nien, right?), but I somehow doubt it. But I do have my fingers crossed.

Thanks for Adjudicating, Legonator. I'm in no hurry. I'm just getting my Wizard Duel frustrations out of my system. DS Sent.

General Discussion and Announcements
Walter Kovacs replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, I'm certainly going to throw my name in the pool. I'll let you decide if I get in or not. The funny thing with the new rules is, newer players like myself might not even notice the difference. -
CM asked me to accept this duel via PM. I get to show in Jedi Duel what I've failed to do in the wizarding world. Anyone want to ADJ?

Consider my interest piqued. I've caught the mafia fever. Not being able to post in Eurodina Day 13 is killing me. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Four
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yes, checking on that explosion probably is the best course of action. Though we never did search the 3rd floor of Town Hall. I wonder what those three we left behind at the farmhouse are doing? -

First, I'd like to check that the Armory door is still secured. Which floor would the police case files be located on? How about the city's personnel records? -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Four
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hmm. If that were the case, then a member of Alabatha's police force would have to be a communist. But it would cause quite a stir if a prisoner suddenly went missing. I'm sure someone would notice that. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Four
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Why would a tunnel from prohibition go into Town Hall? Assuming this tunnel dates back to the '20s. And the keys to the jail cells are locked in the Warden's desk. Unless the Warden is complicit, there must be some way to open the door from inside. I would like to climb the ladder and try to open the cell door. If it is locked, I would like to check the lock for a hidden lever or catch that will open it from the inside. The trigger might be elsewhere within the cell. Remind us again what is inside the cell, aside from Alan and I. No, I think that covers my questions for you. Thanks for your candid answer. -
What's the best Minifigure ever made?
Walter Kovacs replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The Phase II clones were OK in their own right, but the printing on them was far more varied. Phase I's have been in more sets, and the Battle Pack contained more Generic Phase I Troopers than the Battle Pack with the Phase IIs. The other issue with the Phase II BP was that I wanted the companion BP more: I enjoyed that Battle Droid BP much more than the Assassin Bike BP, so I found myself keeping even numbers of Phase II and Battle Droid BPs, while I had only one Assassin Droid and (ahem) numerous Clone Walkers. Hope that made sense. -
I think it's just you. That's a Trans blue 1 x 2 tile used as a control panel. EDIT: 1000th post (go me!)

What's the best Minifigure ever made?
Walter Kovacs replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in General LEGO Discussion
So many choices. I'm a Star Wars collector, so my choice almost had to be a SW fig. But which one. Cloud City Boba? I don't own him. Darth Vader? good choice, but no. RotJ Luke? Nah. In the end I went with the minifig that I have the most of. The humble Phase I Clone Trooper. Good details on his helmet, fornt and back printing, a CW face that mercifully is covered up 90% of the time. But so accessible via the Battle Packs that I now own dozens of them. My Republic army would be nothing without my Phase I Troopers. -
Wow, that is one excellent MOC. Instantly recognizable to anyone that's seen the Terminator movies. I thought about looking up screenshots from the films to see how accurate it was, when I relaized that I just don't truly care. I just want to stare, amsazed, at all of the wonderful details.

Bi-Wing Baron vs. Spirit of Luis
Walter Kovacs replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I own the Bi-Wing Baron, and I absolutely love the set. The engine details are fantastic, and it had four rifles (which is a big deal in my collection). But the Spirit of Luis has much better machine guns, and I'm afraid that's the detail that tips the scale. -
I don't own any sets from either theme, so I am just going to have to go on impressions from photos. Time Cruisers/Twisters has always seemed to me to be completely random. Like the designers just threw whatever crap they had handy together and called it a set. Ninjago, on the other hand, is a well unified theme. Sure, it's a little odd to have skeletons riding harleys against ninjas, but at least it doesn't feel completely random. I voted for Time Cruisers/Twisters as the weirdest.

I suppose I can change my avatar for a few days. Ian Bradford is in my signature. So here I am, Walter Kovacs as a Reavenclaw student: Now I just have to wait to unveil Rorshach as a Jedi Knight.

Ahh, I've missed the Nadhar Vebb episode, although I have seen that picture before. Kit's JSF would have been much more interesting. If they are running out of material from TCW, maybe they should sprinkle in more OT sets.

Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Four
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It won't be into the armory, as we know that the lock had been picked. However it could very well lead into the Town Hall basement. -
Ahh, I don't pay attention to the magnet sets. And before long, they won't be an option. Has Kit Fisto's Delta 7B appeared in TCW (I'm way behind in watching the show)? If so, I would have rather had that one, though that would put Kit in three sets, and CW Mace in only one set, so I can see why TLG would decide against it.
