That is a big improvement, and it's good to see that you heeded the advice of the excellent MOCers here. It looks like maybe you are fighting a lack of pieces in your collection, but that speeder has some nice details despite that. I like it much better now.

I don't think they ruined Mace's Starfighter, I think the source material is just that bland. Mace's Delta 7B was a poor choice for a source. But it does make for a cheaper way to get Mace than the RAS (at least, I think it's cheaper).

What was the last movie you watched?
Walter Kovacs replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
The last movie I saw in the theater was Tangled. I thought it was a pretty decent movie, with some good action. The plot was predictable, though. My kids loved it, so that's all that really matters. Other than that, we've been watching a lot of Charlie Brown Christmas and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on video. If those don't count, then the last I've seen was Muppet Christmas Carol, a true classic that is a must see this time of year. -

Way to show me just how oblivious I am, Cam. -
KDM hit the nail on the head. Mace's Delta-7B is butt ugly. But it comes with two STAPs, a cool astromech and the Tactical droid (even if it is too tall). Since this should be reasonably priced, I think I'll pick it up. Battle for Geonosis has been on my list for a while now. These new photos haven't changed that (still not thirlled about the Technic canon in the center, but I'll make do). Too bad we don't know which stores or exact price yet. Or do we? I've lost track.

Have you SEEN my won/loss record? It seems nothing I try ever works out right. But I keep trying. DS sent. -

So close, oh so close. Ah well, I shouldn't be too surprised I was voted out. It's not like the clues weren't everywhere. I am surprised they latched on to Ronconator though, and with very little stated evidence to back it up. Day 13 might not be too entertaining. I think maybe the battle lines have been drawn in the sand. I could be wrong, though. Go NOODLES! And I'll have PLENTY to say after the conclusion. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Four
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I think it only fair to let everyone know that Alan Simmons overheard part of the conversation between James, Will, Patrick and I. Should we get to know these newcomers a little bit better? Do you always bring your wife along on trips, Captain Ted, I thought having a woman aboard was bad luck for some reason? How about you, Frankie. How long have you been a part of the Lakota crew? I'll wait for Alan Simmons to discover what is blocking the tunnel exit patiently. I've noticed this tunnel is wide. Is it wide enough/tall enough to fit a car, or maybe a small truck? -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Four
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, I mentioned a bit ago that there's probably a secret research facility in the town, and the voice fromthe sky (or was that Congressman Bob?) said "Ding Ding Ding". I assume James is trying to put two and two together. I didn't think it an unreasonable question. I will continue walking with the group, and talk to James, Alan and Patrick when they either confirm or refuse to talk with me. [i'm hoping Patrick or Alan will start the PMconversation, since they should be able to add all of us ] -

Wasn't Stash2Sixx also a regulator until recently, or has he been a moderator for a while now? If so, he deserves mention here as well. -

Congrats to all of you. Now you have even more responsibility for the same amount lack of pay. -
Wow! Wait, where's the appropriate emoticon? There it is. This is absolutely amazing. Now I know why I can never find any gray technic linkarms on BL. I'm amazed that any LEGO motor can move the arms or legs, with as much as those must weigh. If I go on, I fear I'll overrun my "gush" limit for the week. Holding Toa Mahri Matoro. Nice!

Welcome to EB, patch. I look forward to seeing those MOCs.

Good job capturing what must have been a difficult shape, Magma. I don't think it will ever be a set, though, I spy what looks to be n illegal connection (where the click hinge plate isn't seated correctly). It still looks great.

Oh, the LEGO logo made out of bricks, plates or tiles would be very impressive indeed. But using thousands of minifigs just has a certain style. Plus the fact that it has to be larger to incorporate minifigs as opposed to 1 x 1 plates. And we all know how much more expensive minifigs are compared to 2 x 4 bricks or 1 x 1 plates. Don't think that isn't in everyone's subconscious.

(MOC) X-309 deep-space fighter/interceptor
Walter Kovacs replied to plokoon 4 life!'s topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
KDM beat me to it. My first thought was "wow, that's...gray." (Not that I have room to complain; half my collection is light gray.) A little color to help break the monotnoy would do wonders. It's also a bit squarish. Granted, there are lots of slopes and angled pieces, but a little SNOT would really bring this to life. Perhaps if the tail fins weren't straight up and down? I do like the rockets on the bottom, and the engines are decent. -

The ones I own don't, unfortunately. ANH was the first movie I remember going to the theater to see. Nostalgia is a powerful force. -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
Walter Kovacs replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I told you I'd give you a win, Ron. For a game that depends mostly on luck, I seem to have very little good luck coming my way. Makes me think I haven't been living right. Anyway, does anyone need a dueling partner to walk over? I haven't lost to Oky yet, would he like the pleasure? -
Happy birthday, Skalldyr.

Welcome to EB, Pinky. "The same thing we do every day. Try to TAKE OVER the WORLD!" Pinky and the Brain was awesome!

Welcome, Tobias. That map is stunning. I wish I could see it in person, but Germany is a bit of a drive (and there's that ocean thing in the way, too). I hope you find the time to join us in some discussions. There are certainly enough topics to cover just about everything.

Welcome to EB, Blastem. I hope you'll do more thatn just watch the topics.

Welcome to Eurobricks, tattie. Fox has said it all. We all have an opinion and expertise, let your's be known. Remember, the squeeky wheel gets the grease. Or something like that.
