Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Six
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Except if the note was incriminating in any way, I don't expect they'd tell us the truth, now would they? I'll go one better than that. If we do find a notepad, I'd like to see if there are any indentations on it from the sheet of paper that used to be on top. We might be able to find out what was written if there are. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Six
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'd like to hold the paper with the O on it up to the light, to see if anything is hidden on it (watermark, maybe?). I'd also like to hold it over a lightbulb (there's got to be a lamp around somewhere, right?) to see if there's any 'invisible ink'. When I'm done I'll hand the paper back to whoever had it. If there are any lamps, I'd like to lift them up and check underneath. I'll make sure to comment on Delores' dusting habits. I'll set them down nicely when done. It certainly is curious that someone was burning something recently. Can we get an idea on how big the burnt piece of paper was before it was burned? Similar to the size of the other notes found, bigger or smaller? -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club

Sounds like you just volunteered! DS sent. And I need a clarification on your Round 1 DS, Oky. Waiting on KDM's DS (timezones strike again). -
Put me down in the Trans Blue and Trans Green camps. I've always hated Trans Neon Green as a color, even moreso as a green lightsaber blade. For the record, I hate Trans Neon Orange even more, but that really doesn't enter into this topic. As for Maul's hilt. While it would be nice to have a new mold, I don't see any real reason for TLG to do so. I'd certainly want one though.

Welcome Davide. It's a shame you and your LEGO are separated by a continent right now. Guess that means you'll just have to buy some more.

Welcome to Eurobricks. By all means, go find your old LEGO. We'd love to see what sort of MOCs you can come up with.

Review: 7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter
Walter Kovacs replied to starstreak's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I picked this set up over the weekend, and I have to say that I am not disappointed in the least. The minifigs are fantastic, the wing mechanism works really well (when you remember which way to turn the gear). Although minor, what really amazes me is that the entire ship balances on a single clear 2 x 2 round brick when in landing position. It's really a well designed ship. Except that it is a Prequel Trilogy set, not an Original Trilogy. Which means it fits in with the Battle of Naboo set, which is also PT. -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club

Sure, why not. It's not like I can do worse than that last duel. I'll ADJ for Diana and Okay if one of you will ADJ fur us? -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
Walter Kovacs replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wah! I have the lowest winning percentage of anyone with more than 5 duels, and had a 0-5-1 stretch. You get no sympathy from me! It isn't up to date? I have it shown as 4-9-1, and the duel history shows 14 duels total. Unless I've missed a duel in the history. That should make me a Practitioner, one win from Adept. Or am I mistaken. Anyway, Round 2 sent. -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Six

I believe James still has the piece of paper we found on the dead communist this morning. Might I take a closer look at it? About this fallout shelter, Patrick. Have you finished digging yet? Poured any concrete? -
Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Six
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Except for that Sears catalog under his mattress. I'll move on inside now. I'd like a description of the first room we enter, and start seeing if the inside of the house matches the outside dimensions. -
Clone Scout Walker (7250) - Overview and Photography
Walter Kovacs replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Gret review, Dr Nightmare. Do you do this sort of review style often? I haven't seen any quite like this one. And it really is a good set. I just received one from my beloved this Christmas. She must love me or something. -

But what does a standardized test have to ... oh wait. I get it. DS sent! -
Welcome Shieldwolf. Don't worry about your lack of bricks. LDD is a good way to get your MOCing needs accomplished. The problem comes when you decide that your MOCs deserve to be built.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Belet. I look forward to seeing any MOCs you decide to grace us with.

Choosing the title is always the hardest part
Walter Kovacs replied to Haltiamieli's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to EB, Haltiamieli. I won't condemn you for having one of the KKII Large Figures. I have three, though two were gifts and the third was mixed in a garage sale find. So maybe those don't really count. -
Hello from a returned LEGO fan
Walter Kovacs replied to Evilplatypus's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to EB Evilplatypus. Hopefully you find your childhood sets. Like a lot of things in life, MOCing takes practice. One thing I've found that helps is to look through the instructions of sets that look like they have interesting or unusual techniques. That way, you can learn how to do them, and possibly incorporate them into your own MOCs. And with many being available on the net, you won't have to spend a lot to do it. Of course, after looking through the instructions, you might find that you absolutely have to have those sets anyway. -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
Walter Kovacs replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for the ADJ, CMP. Wow, I won! I don't get to say that very often. Now I'm only one win away from Practitioner. Should only take 10 or 11 more duels to reach that. Speaking of Duels, anyone up for one? I know Fox is busy with Diana right now. After all, I do have a streak of one win to put on the line. -
Yeah, and it led to his death. Fugazi came to me during that day, saying that he had inherited the Vigilante role when Hewkii died. He was looking for targets, since Hewkii had been reluctant to accidentally kill townies. So I went to Arjay and suggested Fugazi would be a nice addition. Since Stash had placed my name on his list, I sublty hinted that he might need to go, even though he was a neutral. Then Arjay said he needed Stash alive for one more night, so that Arjay's vest would be active if he had to use JimButcher's bodyguard role in protecting Iamded (gets a bit convoluted here, doesn't it?). I tried to move Fugazi onto Alice, but he went and killed Stash anyway. Long story short, Stash was the only vicitm of the Town's Vigilante. Fugazi was converted the same night he killed Stash.

I'd like to take a look at this fallout shelter. -
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day One
Walter Kovacs replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I beg to differ. I have yet to actually accuse anyone. I am just trying to stimulate some conversation, perhaps get someone to slip up. It's a heck of a lot better than sitting on our hands and waiting for the Sinisters to come in the night. I do have to admit, I let the King of Delusionland over there get under my skin a bit. It won't happen again. -
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day One
Walter Kovacs replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I thank you for your voice of reason, Chief Washing Bear. I take back what I said earlier, perhaps the patients have made a wise decision. Or they could both be Impartial to the current procedings, and simply don't care which side loses a member. *shrug* As for Shadows, he's in my ward. In the time I've known him, he's never been exactly "quiet". Perhaps the staff have recently upped his meds? -
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day One
Walter Kovacs replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'd put in a retalitory vote for the King, but a) I don't know he's Sinister and b) he's awfully chummy with the Bear right now. Since the Bear currently controls 2 votes, plus the tiebreaker if it comes to that, I'd rather not even risk it.
