Stash2Sixx replied to Brickwolf's topic in The Great Brick War
Fastest way to move ground units and supplies across land is a train. I look forward to invading this station at some point! -

GBW (CP1) Commonwealth of Southern Territories - Grunt Work LEGON - C6 After the 8 men of Alpha Company finished their morning PT, running through the dense forests of Northern Legon, they were instructed to meet in the motorpool. When they arrived in the motorpool, Col. Sampson was waiting. "Gentlemen, as you may or may not be aware...we've got some punks up in Studica looking to start some shit with our friends. Now, according to our government, we are not yet engaged in combat operations. However, that does not mean that we will not support our allies in every way possible. We've been granted permission from the Toohati government to assist in establishing an alliance Forward Operating Base, codename F.O.B. Jedi. As we speak, our allies are working to construct this base. Again, as of right now, we are only sending supplies to our allies to assist with the construction." "How can we assist Sir?" "Well, we aren't really in the business of shipping concrete and steel beams. But, we can effectively transport precious cargo! And we just happen to have some." "These 6 crates need to get to the airfield and aboard the next transport plane bound for Toohati. So, I will leave you men to the task at hand. Load the truck, gear up, and escort this transport to the airfield. Any questions?" "Sir, may we inquire into what it is we are transporting?" "Certainly. You gentlemen will be transporting 6 crates, each one containing an elite M134 "Night Stalker" Minigun. These will be paramount for our alliance, and they needed them yesterday. So, let's get rolling!"

News on upcoming sets or items please!!!!! Do not argue about UCS. Do not argue about B-wings, C wings, V-19s, whatever!!! Stuff in 2017 only. Otherwise, you will be removed from this forum for a bit!

Seriously, almost two months and I haven't pissed anyone off? This has gotta be a record for me!

I'm seeing a lot of rampant guessing, speculation, and no facts. Chill out guys, and girls. Please, keep on topic or I'll close this for the weekend.!

Another smart brick is in the making. Jason Alleman and Michael Gale are the creative minds behind this initiative. This time the emphasis is on sound and lights. More info on Kickstarter: PFx Brick More info on: http://fxbricks.com/ Yes, I copied this (mostly) from the Technic Forum; I felt it was important enough that everyone...EVERYONE...was aware!

Snowspeeder = UCS Confirmed bb-8 = NOT UCS (Almost Confirmed) Aluminum Falcon = UCS (Really damn sure, but not 100%) Sources are quoting some interesting info with prices. Rumors are it may be closer to 8 bills (USD) than the 6; nothing confirmed as of yet, but educated guesses. We knew it would be the biggest LEGO set yet (size, pieces, and price), but I don't think we were expecting this. Either way, I've already started my savings jar. $50 every two weeks puts me at about $600 by the end of September. Coming up with $200 is easier than coming up with $800 out of thin air, right? Did the same thing years ago for the first one, no problem with doing it again! Again, planned for October, but that could be changed at anytime. They've done it before and I'm sure they will do it again!

Check Out These Custom Decals Legoman666 Made For Me!!
Stash2Sixx replied to Freezingvettes99's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thanks for posting this! I like to use O scale decals for my MOCs, but the selection is a bit dry at times. And that tiger stripe BN looks bad ass!!! -
Are you using a photo sharing site such as flickr? If so, would you link to one of your photos please?

LEGO can bump/change/modify any release any time it wants to. So if you are gonna get all hung up on release dates, then you are going to be really disappointed! UCS Slave I was slotted for an October release, but it was bumped to January 1st. Ninjago's Temple of Arijitzu was designed for the Ninjago movie, but TLBM had them alter their plans a bit. The JSF w/ Booster ring...just wait. If my source said it will arrive, it will arrive. Maybe not according to your timetable, but it will arrive.

Yeah, I was sleeping...but thanks for calling it out! Can you guys hold off on your personal feelings about which set is better? Or if LEGO should release info before the Snowspeeder? Or a huge pricing argument when we do not have any concrete info? Or the price of it because we are not sure? Baseless rumors help no one. And this 40th Anniversary stuff, really? What are they supposed to do for the 50th then, release a buildable DL-44? 40 is big deal for humans, not really for movies. Thanks. Some of what I said, but not exactly. If you're gonna quote me, then do it all the way; please don't half-ass it! Thanks! Wishlists too, knock it off! Thanks! Read back a few pages and I bet you can find some clues...just sayin. Thanks!
-
Could not have said it better myself! If an element runs out, they will replace it with something else, but if it's part of the quarterly builds, it tends to remain empty at many of the stores.

@Robert8 you win. You can make posts, but make them with substantial comments regarding something that matters. If you wanna make prop bets, head to Vegas.

When I warn others not to argue or make off topic comments, that kind of goes for everyone in this thread. I think adults should be able to figure this out but apparently not. If you would like to have an off topic discussion, let me know. This thread is not for calling out fakes, liars, or bullshit. There is a private forum for that... So please, be nice all!
-
If all you have is your opinion on pricing, please keep that in the pricing discussion thread, thanks! No need to argue in the 2017 news thread, thanks! Again, no need to start an argument in here, thanks!

Grainy pic, it may be that gold color...not expecting a chrome gold one though! Take that Lepin!

I think LEGO is calling that one a beaver. No clue as to why some stores get one and others don't. The response I used to get was terrible. Stores can display for 45 days, then swap. If not, at least they get some $$$ for selling all the other NEW brick. And they wonder why sales are down at retail! Maybe put actual quality brick back on the wall and watch the dollars roll in? Went to three stores in the area last week Thursday and Friday. All three of the walls were practically identical...and they were all sad. Poor upkeep, half empty, 75% the same stuff, and no one knew anything about what was going on; I thought about doing the survey, but I didn't think that was fair to the Store managers as they don't make policies. And retail corporate USA does not care what the adult fan thinks. I've tried talking with them before and it goes nowhere.

A member of the boards recently told me that it may be closer to $800 USD, which makes sense as we knew at least $600 minimum. Then... My initial source has just informed me that Leia is in full white jumpsuit, looks to be a tan C3-PO, navy jacket Han, and it includes a circular radar dish. Not sure about a rectangular one, but at this point...
