Calling All Builders - Want to try your hand at a Star Wars Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka MOC, without the commitment of signing up for the RPG? Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka is looking for builders to help us out with an upcoming episode. The episode should launch in the next week or two, and players will have 4-6 weeks to finish their builds. The game takes place in the 'Original Trilogy' time frame, between 'Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi'. If you do not have a lot of Star Wars minifigs, no worries; you can always discover a new alien species! Let us know your interest by sending a PM to LucasLaughing, even if you're not 100% sure, we can always fill in the details later. Thanks from the SoNE team!

Posting this from what I know so far; ask me questions and I'll throw you in the chamber. PM me questions and I'll throw you in the chamber. Again, I'm telling you what I know and will add more as it comes to me...No, I will not reveal my sources. Start saving your $$$ people, because it looks like there may be a $600 (at least?) UCS set coming out in October (unless LEGO bumps the date which they did with Salve I). This "rumored' set will most likely contain Hoth Leia, Hoth Han, Chewbacca, Finn, Rey, BB8, Old Man Han...and maybe a Mynock. No clue on radar at the moment, no clue on interior. And that's what I got, for now.

Awesome news...for you! Good to know that the parts are starting to surface. Thanks.

Ahhh. Those are good, and good to know. I was hoping you meant light bley.

Thanks all, I can really feel the love!!! Ironically, this is where I started out as a Mod on EB, some of you old timers may remember? Either way, glad to make it official...again? And to think I haven't been called out in Rude Moderator's Thread in weeks!?!??!?!?!?!? My goal is not to ban all users, it's to keep the threads clean and organized. If I banned everyone, like many of you think I want to, there would be no one left on EB except staff. Actually, that's not really a bad thing. KIDDING!!!! Or am I? Just have fun and try not to break the rules. Bend the crap out of 'em, but don't break 'em! I should find my old SW Avatar, that always starts trouble on these boards!

What store? Where? I've been waiting for these for a while now... Do tell.

GOOD JOB AHZEAL!!! I'm glad to see somebody took the initiative and turned this lil guy out so fast! Unlike Comic-Con exclusives, I can see LEGO went all out on this one...NOT!

Hi! RLFM Ambassador from Oz here!

Welcome Aussie John! Glad to see some new blood join us. Any questions, ask anytime. -
THIS IS NOT A WISH LIST THREAD! How many times must I tell adults? Here is your last warning, all of you! Do not post wish lists, that is not what goes in this thread. Do not post jokes or fake news in here, that is not what goes in this thread. My tolerance for crap is now at zero. If you think I'm kidding, try me. Not a threat, it's a guarantee. 277 pages of jibberish with little to no substance. That's it, you have all been warned!

I've seen them, but that's a better pic than what I saw. Thanks for the link and info.

Yup, I remember when this occurred. Yes, LEGO tells the other stores to go and destroy all of the leftover promotional items along with any unused elements. But, many of those people didn't do that. These were all over the internet back in the day form people who worked in those stores and were selling all kinds of that stuff. Years later, the LEGO Brand Retail stores did an event like this. The clones all had Commander Cody Phase I helmets though, and all the rest of the clone was a normal clone trooper. Just in case someone tried to smuggle the extras out the door.

Guys, I hate to break it to you..but the famous 'ten cents per piece' average was going strong around fifteen years ago. There are so many factors that go into pricing that unless you're working for LEGO...and even then you may not have all the information. Don't get me wrong, I cannot stand some of their set prices, but if you're smart and able to figure things out, you can always find a good deal. LEGO prices ain't that bad. I'm trying to find a limited run bottle of Scotch that came out earlier this month. Sold for about $110 USD. It is now well over $250 and it's been less than thirty days. But hey, everyone has their gripes right?

Alrighty, thread reopened. Please keep comments on topic regarding releases for 2017. No fighting! No arguing! If you have an issue, let me know via PM. If you have info you don't want to share, then let me have it via PM and I'll put it up if you want to remain anonymous.

Whew. Thank you! And I thought almost all of you hated me! Good thing I don't work tomorrow. Oh wait, that's right, I do! Yeah, it's gettin' locked for a bit until I can sort out some stuff in here.

Yes, that would be a great idea! Unfortunately, too many of these people that post half-assed info figure since it's a rumor thread, they can say whatever they want. In the real world though, things don't work that way. But be patient, 2018 thread will change a few things. People will be able to follow the news post and get only news and quality info again.

Don't minimod and tell people what to do, that's my job!

I'm enjoying the playful banter going back and forth between the 2 alliances! It's gentle, not overly nasty, but you can tell we have a strong dislike for each other.- 7 replies

Honestly, go to a few different ones, as many people are biased in different ways. If you are a castle fan, be sure to get to Brickcon. I went in 2008 and it was great. Sci-Fi and Castle heavy at BrickCon, where the other shows have different concentrations of builders. It all varies. Plus you get to meet a ton of other people/builders/EB members.

Do not recall, possibly, but I couldn't be sure...thus I didn't post anything about that.

May the 4th is a brick built R2-D2 figure...with $50 purchase I think? I had a quick look at the May LBR Calendar.

[SR - Ch5B] Lechuga Squadron Advance!

Those are Brickarms flintlock muskets. There are caplock muskets as well, but flintlock was more time appropriate. -

Should Lego use Dry Transfer or Water Slide Decals?
Stash2Sixx replied to xboxtravis7992's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I disagree. I have been using and applying both water slide and dry transfers for a few years now. I use them for trains, city, and military LEGO MOCs. I have found water slides easier to use than dry transfers. Water slide gives you a lil bit of room to work with and readjust if needs be. Once dry transfer is down, it's down! Unless you scratch it off. In fact at work, I encourage people to use water slides on their MOCs. We run workshops every few weeks for those that want to learn to apply them. I do agree though that they want to keep things as simple as possible, and therefore we have the printed sticker sheets, which crack and peel off in a few years. Printing costs money, just look at custom printed figs. Although for the amount that LEGO would produce...
