  1. I'll be sure to add you to the chat shortly French Man.
  2. Yes! Very possible! Welcome French Man...love the simplicity of the name!!!
  3. Falcon will be bigger, much bigger than Wayne Manor. Price as well!
  4. Nope overview shot never got taken. In my rush to get the pics taken and uploaded on time, I forgot about that one. Overall, it's 96 x 96 studs, so 3 x 3 made up of 32 x 32 base plates. Thanks for the comments.
  5. Phadeout: Part A1 LEGORACER1: Part A2 Faladrin: Part A3 Umbra-Manis: Part B1 Jansued: Part B2 Stash2sixx: Part C1 Johannsued: Part C2 Leonardo Da Bricki: Part C3 Mesabi: Part C4 Grid: Studica E4 All military campaigns need a hub for planning attacks, planning defenses, processing satellite data & reports, adapting to situations in real time, and maintaining communications with all members of the Alliance. The RoN just so happens to have set up a makeshift command post in a small town on the Northeast side of the lake in Grid E4. The Command Post has multiple soldiers attending to all of the data delivered via satellite, following the radio chatter, and communicating orders to all of the RoN soldiers in the theater of operations. The command post is set up in a warehouse built of brick and steel. It is located at a T intersection, across from a park and an abandoned butcher shop. A temporary landing pad has been set up for helicopters. Easy and quick access to drop supplies and soldiers. This is the small park where the anti-aircraft system has been set up to deal with threats from above. The RoN Alliance has also set up a temporary brig to house their prisoners of war. As for threats on the ground, there is a team in place patrolling the area. As you can see, a small squad attempted to overthrow the command post but they failed. Of the ten men that attacked, only 3 survived and have been jailed for the time being. Soon, the transport helo will arrive to take them to an undisclosed location for...questioning. Unfortunately, the media showed up and is hanging out, snapping pictures. As you can see, she is wearing the bright blue "DON'T SHOOT ME" color helmet! OOC: Group planning was intense, and to my team, sorry if I seemed a bit aggressive, I just wanted us to really rock this campaign! I promise, I plan to step back on the next Campaign mission, you have my word. I have used Brickarms and Minifig.cat weapons and gear. The custom black computer parts (6 of them) are from TnT MOC Supply. I have 4 HUMVEEs, all inspired by Brickmania builds. The dark green/brown camo one has been seen before. The Avenger S-A-M HUMVEE has a few modifications. The 2 pickup HUMVEEs were major modifications of the Avenger. I wanted to drop a Huey gunship on the landing pad, but as I didn't have air abilities yet, and I didn't want to distract from the main build of the Crossroads CP, I decided against it. The desert 6 color camo soldiers were designed by Lando of Brickmania, and the Woodland Camo for the Commander is from Citizen Brick, along with his head. Unfortunately, due to my fear of not getting pictures uploaded in time, I neglected to take an overview shot...which is usually the first shot I take! Oh well...I think the puzzle of where everything goes seems to be pretty easy; any questions, just let me know.
  6. Can you go to 2 tables wide? So 8x8 or 64 baseplates? I know it's MORE, but it will give you a considerable amount more to work with. If not, maybe this can help with a few ideas for you. This is our winning EB entry for Brickworld 2012, Pirates. Might not be ideal for younger viewers ears, sorry I didn't make the video.
  7. Yeah, no kiddin'! I saw some pics months ago when I first posted...but these were super small pics and ones that could not be shared. But that's ok, those who choose to believe me and know where I used to work, cool beans for you. To all the other doubters...I get it. Not a problem, I would be skeptical as well.
  8. It's true. LEGO is just being very careful not to leak out info early so the scumbags over at Lepin don't get a jump on production!
  9. Ahhh, so that's how it works over there...shadow governments...I see. So much for democracy? OOC: Good lil base of operations. Of course, in a big group, some people slip in...like the one with his feet up and no one knows why he's there, LOL!!! I do envy you guys with the photoshop skills able to chop up maps and such. My skills are so...basic!
  10. In the theater...Dunkirk. Amazing, moving...Tom Hardy is my hero! On tv...Grandma's Boy was on last night so I stopped everything and watched it!
  11. Yeah, thus the split for 2018; this is a discussion of the sets...and technically, he is creating discussion. It's ok, you're allowed to voice your opinion though.
  12. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! So much to comment on here...but I will refrain.
  13. My thoughts on the whole exclusives and rare fig giveaways... Speaking with a fellow associate years ago when I was working for TLG, it was stated that they (not quite sure who exactly) decide on who to make as an exclusive figure and in what quantities. Their whole plan is to create a buzz about the event and their product lines. A guy who used to shop at the store I worked at would come in right before SDCC to say hi. He, along with his four kids, would make the trip out and grab all they could. He would get in line with his four kids and all of them would get tickets to get the exclusive figures. Out of all five of them, he never won any of the figs, but his kids always got the figs. So of course, now he has four sets of the figs to sell online. This went on for multiple years people. SDCC already has plenty of buzz. As for exclusives, funny that you bring that up @x105Black...So TLG knows what they are doing when they make an extremely limited run of kits/figures. Even when it isn't a super small run like an SDCC or NYTF figure, they know it is limited. They know how the market is in the real world; if they say they don't, then they need to quit their job now! Yet they continue to release small amounts of certain items...and yet divisions of their company complain when people buying their product are not end-users? Makes no sense to me. One of the few companies I know of that tends to dislike making more money...especially now that their sales are down.
  14. Do not discuss your feelings on prices, please. No matter what, there is almost always someone who has to pay more. If you want to discuss how LEGO is hosing everyone and driving prices for their merchandise up while their company's sales are in the tank, put it in the correct thread, or start a new one. Thank you.
  15. And that is EXACTLY why I asked! Excellent point Coaster.
  16. Care to comment who the "thieves" are? I would be curious to know.
  17. @Ryancup, What you've done here is basically put out a post which belongs in the B/S/T/F forum. As you are still WELL under the required posts, I'm going to shut this down. If a member chooses to partake on this adventure, I will only say this... That member is building/designing a build for someone without a set fee, only a fee of whatever $$$ remains after parts are purchased.
  18. Well that's on those people. If they all read the thread titles, then there shouldn't be a problem!
  19. Yes, please! No, you will not be banned for commenting your opinion in this thread. Apparently, I've freaked out a portion of the forums so I figured I better put this in here...just in case.

  21. You are more than welcome to voice your opinion or views. This is the place for that. As long as we can keep it civil, everything should be just fine. Everyone on this forum is equal. Nobody gets any 'special treatment' either. Anyone ever heard the term "play stupid games, win stupid prizes?" If you break the rules, repeatedly, over the course of a year, then yes, you will get in trouble. I'm the one who removed VaderFan. He had ample warnings to follow the rules, along with a few visits to the chamber. In the end, it just did not pan out for him as a member here. I'm sorry if some of you are frustrated about this, but honestly, it's none of your business why a member is removed. You are more than welcome to discuss it with that member (ex-member), but we as staff will not and should not be sharing that info. I know it's called Rude Moderators, but again, if you have concerns, please fell free to voice them here.
  22. No, I actually don't want to have almost 20 different topics for who was the best figure for that year. I understand discussing sets and all...but this is going to get out of control. Sorry guys. I need to draw the line at some point.

  24. Winter, according to LEGO, are the releases in January of that year, so 2018. If winter items sneak out early in December, then they are still winter release sets, they just got out early. The info I have gotten in the past / I am given tells releases scheduled for the next 6 months. July, August, September, October, November, December; that's 6 months. So I have no info (given to me by my trusted sources) relating to winter (January) 2018 as of yet. That doesn't mean it's not out there (Russian info with confidential, illegal pics) but given to me, nothing. So yes, as far as I know, that Sandspeeder is set for 2017 December, apart from other sets, possibly a D2C set. Now, LEGO has a habit of changing the release dates whenever they want to. It's LEGO, they do what they want with their company no matter what! So if it changes, great, we update the info. As of right now though, December 2017 is what I know. Good question.
  25. If you guys choose to discuss the sets, that's fine. But arguing back and forth because one person's opinion differs from yours...really? It's just that, it's an opinion; it's not right, it's not wrong. I can't believe I have to type this here for adults. LMAO!!!! Nice. If stupid arguments about opinions keep going, then yes. I'll be more than happy to lock the page down for a few hours. Let's hope they stop now!
