  1. LET'S GET IT ON!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Again...if you are frustrated with how things were handled on LEGO's end, then call their customer service and FILEA COMPLAINT! Complaining on a website (Eurobricks), griping on Facebook, leaving a false review on LEGO's consumer site...these will not do anything. And no name calling please, let's keep it civil.
  3. Went to my local LEGO store this morning, procured myself one of the Aluminum Falcons! Wheeled it to the car and it's now safe at home!
  4. LEGO site has been screwed up all morning because of this. Spoke with the sales associates while at a store this morning. Apparently, they didn't expect this to sell so well...? Seems to be their go to answer all the time! Those of you online fighting with the site, good luck to you! AND BY THE WAY.... If you are ticked off and disappointed with how this was handled on LEGO's end, and it sounds like a few of you might be, then call LEGO Customer Service and file a complaint about their site and service. Don't just bitch and moan here about it! Eurobricks can do absolutely nothing to help you. The store surveys on the receipts? Those go to the stores, corporate never sees them unless they go looking. If you put in a complaint with a customer service operator, then an email chain begins and it actually makes a difference!
  5. Honestly, those are some great points. And having personal experience and knowledge on some things...
  6. Hi J4JacobR, Thanks for your interest in TGBW! I don't see a problem with you joining in the fight, but just wait until we announce the openings for players on each side. That should actually happen very soon...we had some personal things pop up in the last few weeks and are working to prep Campaign 4 as we speak! While you wait for the openings announcement...feel free to read over the rules and all. Keep your eyes peeled buddy!
  7. Great to see your LUG gettin a display out for others to enjoy. I hope you guys get tons of questions and make many many fans excited to build! Curious to see that shirt you're wearing...
  8. As stated, dishwashing detergent and warm water is best to clean them. My basement took on water a while back and the brick accrued a bit of mud. As for drying them...Skip the sun if you have open tables and a fan. That worked best for me. Good luck to you!
  9. Personally, with the nice weather here right now, I'm kind of enjoying the break. Gives me a moment to do yard work and some much needed sorting. Also, @Umbra-Manis, hope everything is going well! I saw your Flickr post, take your time buddy, water can be a mess to clean up. Been there myself a few times, but nowhere near the level you guys got it down there.
  10. Well, the info I get is usually pretty good. If it says December, then that is what I was originally told. Most likely it's a retailer exclusive, but I guess we really don't know anything for sure. Of course, if LEGO bumps it into 2018, then it's a 2018 set. Yup, forgot all about that one.
  11. As far as I know, everything else is 2018. Aluminum Falcon in October (September VIP release) is the only thing left that I am aware of.
  12. Sorry all...been away for work...WHAT'D I MISS????? I will be on again in a few hours, just decided to look in on my dinner break. I'll be sure to address any CONCERNS WITH MEMBERS then.
  13. Actually, I can add them. I'm just waiting for my tag guy to fix it up and then I'll get it added. Thanks for posting here to let me know!
  14. D2C is all I know for sure, rumor I heard...was it was GBHQ scale. Ok, now I'm guilty...BACK ON TOPIC!
  15. And this is why we don't like fake info...as it can easily be construed as true, even though most of us know it isn't. The general public though, they do not. And Wayne Manor will be out same time as the Aluminum Falcon.
  16. Really? Still arguing about prices between who is right and who is wrong? Maybe because they aren't 100% official until they show up on a shelf would be a good sign...but I guess not. Apparently a few of you have decided not to listen to me, so that's cool. I'll stop talking; I'll just react now. Maybe a few of you will learn how to behave and follow the rules in here now.
  17. Also, if you're basing your assumptions on the AFOL community from the members of EB...let's be honest. I'm sure there are a lot of members here who are NOT adults, yet claim to be. t's tough to give an honest answer. When I worked retail at ???, I was approached by many people, who were AFOLs. Many of them were ok, meaning they didn't complain about everything. Then there were those that decided that everything is horrible! These are also the people who expect LEGO to cater directly to them. The difference is you cannot classify all AFOLs into one group and treat them the same. The guy who is in a LUG and just walked in to tell you he is looking for 3 parts on the PAB wall PROBABLY DOES NOT KNOW the next guy that will walk in the door and complain about how much he spends and how TLG is just ruining everything nowadays. Huge differences...and I don't think that many of the powers that be with the retail side of ??? separate the two types. My two cents...
  18. Please, all of you...do not turn this into what we could get. Talk about what we know of. Speculation goes in a different forum. This WILL NOT turn into the 2017 mess. Good? Thanks.
  19. And I live and shop in Cook County (Chicagoland) where the sales tax is 10% so there ya go. I will not let this turn into a dumpster fire so please, you can quote what the estimated price is...but DON'T START GRIPING ABOUT THE PRICE! No matter what, someone else has it worse...and there were kits that were 10 cents a piece back in 1997 so let it go! Alright, please continue all of the random discussion, guessing, and speculation...just be sure it goes in the correct thread. Thanks.
  20. Thanks all! Yeah, usually the first shot I take is an overview...just slipped my mind. As I was setting this up outside on a table, It was actually kind of warm, so moving everything back and forth from the house to the table down the stairs, I started sweating. Then, while organizing everything, the roads were actually getting hot, like really hot. This entire display almost went in a totally different way had something burst into flames! I was actually worried about sweating on my display. Ahh, the unknown life of LEGO.
  21. Shhhh. You're not THELEGOBATMAN. I'm sure he can speak for himself.
  22. Isn't he Brick Productions 20XX? I would advise against anything that guy says...if it is him. Is this compiled from all of the information you have collected; can this be backed up? Or is this speculation?
  23. What I wanted to say was this is great news, saw it pop up on BOOKFACE the other day. I'll place an order Friday as I get paid and need to get an order in ASAP. Eagerly awaiting Kickstarter. Which reminds me, I've got some ME PF rails I need to unload now, never even opened.
  24. That Snoke figure is from a guy in the Chicagoland Facebook LEGO group. He gets lots of rare items early. Somehow, he has a connection overseas and has stated that before. His 'connection' is also illegal as the items are not yet for sale, therefore they have been removed illegally from the plant, and they still belong to LEGO...I mean if we want to get all technical...But yeah, his stuff is legit! I don't know if it is from the movie, but since we already had a classic 60's Batcave, the LEGO Batman Movie Wayne Manor would make sense.
