Yes. Big surprise...that source has been very reliable for quite some time now. But, when you're trying to figure out who a fig is in a 2" x 2" pic with the ship and figs...it's tough. I ask if they are sure or not and if I have photo evidence, I check it out myself. So, if I incorrectly posted one figure in the last 9 years, I'm ok with that. I posted the sandspeeder in the first post the other day and almost no one has noticed that one!

Well...since I got the info from one of my sources inside a specific company, I would say they're pretty accurate. But hey, believe what you want; totally understand.

If you see news somewhere, go ahead and post it in the other thread. If you EDIT your post because you changed your mind or decided to cause drama...we will treat it as if you posted your thoughts on a new set in the wrong thread. Which everyone has already been informed about and Deathstroke77 used up the one freebie on day one!!! Yes, there are consequences. If you need to discuss stuff, please follow the rules and move it to the correct forum/thread/or a message. We in the SW forum have multiple test polls that have been going on for months now. Jim has been trying anything and everything to get them fixed. THANK YOU JIM for all your hard work and attempts to repair the polling system.

Ok, thread is back open. Please keep the posts to news about 2017 SW sets. If you have a gripe about something, please bring it to myself or another moderator. Complaining in the thread does no good. And don't just post to post. That tells me you want attention; and yes, some of you have gotten that attention. Those whose news feeds were cluttered the last few days, my apologies; 2018 news will be much different, I promise.

News. Not for bitching. I need to sort through all of this and I do not have time right now so...Thread locked. Sorry all!

We use the LEGO rechargeable battery boxes in our trains (NILTC) and they work well. They run for about 2 hours, then auto shut off. Turn 'em back on, and then get another 2 hours. It powers off, so then we run it for another 2 hours. Of course, it shuts off again and at this point we just turn it back on to drain the battery. Then we recharge them. So overall, if you take care of it, we get about 6 hours of runtime off one battery. Multiple motors and train length/weight play into that but we've found they work great. Otherwise, if you want to work your own battery solution...GO FOR IT! It's your LEGO, do what you want.

Appreciate the input, and I have no problem with leaving this topic open. With so many different forums, each of which have multiple themes (or time frames as in Star Wars) it makes choosing one, maaaaaaybe 2 a year very difficult. Some people will be happy and some will be furious. But yes, we do see your input and are always willing to read it.

How much time you got? Kidding! But seriously, I don't have that much time to type up a full response. Overall, there is usually only a thread or two that create all of the trouble. We try to monitor it as best we can, and I strive to be firm but fair...but it doesn't always work out. Too many members feel they can do whatever they want and not follow the rules. What they forget is this board is run by us and we have some rules and guidelines that need to be followed for specific reasons. Nope, they don't need to be explained, just know that most all of the rules have been developed because someone, at some time, decided to do something, and that caused us to create a rule. Does that kinda help or not really?

Nice to see it again! I saw the whole display at Brickworld this year and it was really cool seeing all these familiar items from the movie reconstructed in LEGO. Sorry I didn't get over to introduce myself, I was running around all weekend for work...well most of the time. Great builds though!

Sorry, I'll be up at Madison for Brick Universe this weekend. Enjoy it. A few tips...wear good sneakers, drink lots of water, bring mints, socialize and make new friends / contacts...and have fun!
