As others have said, Imperial Trading Post and Eldorado Fortress are definitely better choices than Rock Island Refuge. If you can afford both, go for it. If not, Imperial Trading Post is probably a better choice (rarer and more parts) Are they in new or used condition?

Alright, I'll officially apply. Here are a few items I found One the best pirate brickfilms out there IMO, created by Doug Vandegrift aka cannedgravyhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/59500654@N07/5446026073/in/set-72157625926130473/ Armada Fortress by Detroitika http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ElephantKnight/Pirates/USSConstitution/uss_constitution_002.jpg USS Constitution Moc created by Elephant Knight- 55 replies

I'm nearly certain there's gonna be at least one more potc movie, they're working on the script now and Depp has signed on. If it's successful (which it will, mark my words), then yes there's a chance there will be more sets.

Very Nice!

Nice little ship! Have you considered making the fleet into an ESPG one?
-
Nice Find! I love how the boards are worked.
-
Great scene. I like the arch way over the fort door.

Yeah, I saw this over at Forbidden Cove. That water design is really creative -
I like the cannon design

Official LEGOLAND Pirates - Stop Motion Video 1989

Wow, I'm surprised I've never seen this before. Thanks! -
Yes, there was a difference in the cannons. US sets (or at least later ones) had a black knob on the end, and couldn't fire, and the European ones could fire. It is strange in the name differences, such as the Caribbean Clipper/Sea hawk and Imperial Flagship/Sea Lion.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Yes, the prow probably needs a little work
-
Amazing Moc! So many details . I especially like the stool, turtle, and boat roof. Keep up the good work
-
Nice Fig! I like all the foliage as well.
-
Those custom cannons look a little long, but than again, I'm no expert . Nice Moc!
-
Yeah, as Sebeus said, I think the majority of children always had the Pirates "winning". Also, when it was tested to either go with Europa or Pirates, Pirates was more popular. The soldiers weren't as well received, and thus, the ship sizes.

[pid][/pid] 142A This is my first Moc post on Eurobricks, but it is certainly not my first Moc . This is my newest ship. I built it after watching POTC At World's End, having been inspired by the Junk in the movie. I also wanted to have a try at custom hulls, something I have not tried before. They didn't come out too bad, did they? I'm sorry for the bad quality, this was taken on an IPod. Here is the full ship, with crew on it. Without Crew Gundeck/Midsection Stern area/poop deck Instead of using a steering Wheel, like most ships, I thought a tiller would add more of an Asian and exotic feel, so here is my tiller. It doesn't actually move the rudder, though Bow/Front Area Head on shot. Anchor. Its not the best designed, and probably not very realistic . I could probably make it better, but I like how it comes over the front. Stern shot and Rudder. Here is a little bit of how I did the hulls. Not really sure how much you can get out of it, though . Front small sail. Back Large Sail. Finally, The Crew. Captain First Mate Pirate Pirate Pirate Pirate Pirate and Ship's Monkey And, that's it! I hope you liked it. Any and all Comments and criticism are very welcome
-
I like it, and would be very interested to see a final project, there's a lot of good details I like.
-
POTC was a good opportunity, but IMO it wasn't timed right with the movies. Perhaps if and when the fifth movie comes around they'll bring it back.
-
Very nice, detailed, and creative ship. I do agree the deck might be a bit too high, but once you add the sails I think it wont really matter. Great Overall!
