  1. Actually the Imperial Guards (old redcoats) admiral was Admiral Woodhouse, though its funny to me that in the original LEGO Racers game he was called Broadside.
  2. Yes, you can also purchase bulk muskets, swords, and pistols for pretty cheap as well.
  3. Sounds great! Remember to post it as a MOD when you're done.
  4. The cheapest ones would be the old redcoats, about 2-3 dollars each. However, it is difficult to buy them in bulk on bricklink. The best place to buy them in bulk would be eBay. I've scored many great deals on soldiers there.
  5. Glory to the Bluecoats! The Tourney is ours!

  6. Save them I guess. Its Always good to have spare bricks! Or, if you want to use them, you can perhaps make another outpost or fort for the bluecoats or whoever else is fighting your redcoats.
  7. I personally don't believe they're the same person. Yes they have similar features, but those are really just what people expect out of a Pirate. IMO Ironhook is closer to Roger/Redbeard than Brickbeard.
  8. Yes, the white wouldn't really go well with the grey of helm's deep
  9. I love this ship. And as a Latin Student, I love the name as well
  10. Yes, you can always make your own islanders as well using blank yellow torsos and such.
  11. Redbeard for me. I'm not sure where I heard this, but isn't Ironhook Redbeard's brother who shipwrecked and was attacked by the islanders? Redbeard is just so iconic (and he had the best ships ).
  12. Do you have the Incan warrior or that chief from adventurers?
  13. I do agree. It is basically a fort already. Just add some pirate accessories and figs, and you got your set. Using the soldier's fort bricks you can add a nice dock and prison tower. I also like Mazin's idea of leaving the urukhai as native creatures the redcoats could fight.
  14. This gave me a good chuckle! The ship looks good with blue windows.
  15. Great! I like the tree. Have you considered making a port?
  16. Great Ship! I like how you used the log bricks sideways
  17. Nice! This has really come along!
  18. Great Ship! Have you built it In real bricks, yet?
  19. I love it! Everything is so nice and brick-built!
  20. Nice The factory one is my favorite. I'm guessing these are the "precursor" to the licensed themes?
  21. I agree. Times change, but I still think the golden age remains the same. And yes, I agree LEGO still has the same values ,even if they don't seem that way. (i.e chinese plastic)
  22. 1) Grimmbeard 2) Bluecoat 3) Cook (or Gunner or Ropemaker)
  23. Ok, thank you for clearing it up, my mistake.
  24. Great thread! It's always nice to learn more about just how LEGO came to be. I'm pretty sure my Grandma had a town plan in her house, but since I've gone back I have not seen it.
