  1. Actually think they *should* concentrate on including more of the POC and female characters as much as possible. Given the setting, it’s not *that hard* to cobble together some generic white men in office clothes from existing minifigure parts; but it’s a lot more difficult to find suitable parts for the POC/female characters as they’re so limited proportionately across sets in ‘flesh’ tones.
  2. The real question is what do all the bad faith critics of <insert set featuring diversity> claim they *just want* now if they make an Office set ?! 😂
  3. Nah, a LOT of pieces from old CMFs have shown up in BAMs over the years, some are pretty regular
  4. I think they will have more than that, if not only because all of the more diverse characters would be missed out by a very small minifig roster. so I would assume more like 8-10 … It’s not like they need new head moulds!
  5. You got complacent! I’m at the stage that I’d rather do a few smaller orders for my sanity in catching some missable parts.
  6. Sheep seems to be lingering in stock more than usual … which is nice.
  7. Ssssssssshhhhhhh sheep (# 78219) in stock in Bricks & Pieces. Don’t all flock at once 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
  8. Thanks for bringing this up. Totally agree.
  9. What thundering nonsense even is this ⬆️ ? Sometimes studies like this are *exactly* what are needed to both make strategic, evidence-based decisions on how to progress *and* give a hook to talking about why it’s important in the media. Meanwhile - was delighted to see these books appearing https://www.thebrickpost.com/news/lego-little-golden-books-how-to-be-a/ - representation matters so much, and while it might seem a little thing to have a female pirate and a wheelchair-user knight, it’s a world of difference in both normalising and challenging.
  10. Perfect excuse for new hyena moulds then - would fit very well with existing roster of African animals in Lego form
  11. Yeah, they’re only exclusive in the way the figures are configured - none of the parts or prints are ever unique. You and your agenda 😂
  12. They don’t. Usually solitary but they do er come together to breed. Feel free to google how they do that if you’re not squeamish.
  13. U.K. singer, who had a Christmas song called ‘one more sleep’ ;)
  14. Gorgeous fish. Assume it’s cheaper because it’s not Glow In The Dark?
  15. Unlikely. Not gay enough
  16. One more sleep! ✨
  17. *cough* sheep seems to be in stock on Bricks & Pieces 🐑🐑🐑
  18. I’m hoping that’s a typo 😆
  19. I think it will have a tree and a tent / camp build
  20. I share your cynicism, and don’t buy the line for *the reasons*, but I do think they have put a lot of effort into sets for HP. Some pretty innovative ideas and nicely-realised buildings, as well as some character diversity. Good to see Lego doing well, especially in terms of them embracing efforts to be more diverse, representative and responsible. If one went by reading AFOL forums you’d be forgiven for thinking Lego was in the doldrums and not producing anything of quality or popularity at all. Perhaps diversity is good for business after all.
  21. Something we definitely all agree on! 🐵
  22. Yeah, much smaller. Especially here in the U.K. you’ll find them in some independent toy stores and *some* bigger retailers (I think Asda usually has them)
  23. Outrageous behaviour!
  24. Maybe a buildable giant Lego goat, with a commemorative normal sized goat in gold with ‘90’ emblazoned on the side 🤣
  25. I can only think whichever customer service person took the call either did him a special favour knowing that he had an assistance dog by giving him a ‘rare’ version, or that because it was a phone request their system just threw up the harnesses in both colours. I like to hope it’s the former. :)
