According to PB, the 90th anniversary set will be a 350€ "Lion's King Castle" set with set nr. 10305 and released in August. Now the only question is play-set or MOC-like?

There might be a way to actually put in a 4WD without widening the chassis and still keep steering function as it was. The trick is to use 2 pairs of bevel gears to go around the rear differential down to the turning table. But there is no chance for a fake engine under the hood with a mounted front differential. Rear wheel diff only with fake engine might work though.

@agrof Good idea with the arched liftarm for the handle bar and the connector for the chainsaw to add stability. Not sure about the 2L axle and liftarms between the small panels though. That puts a little stress on the system. Another thing that needs fixing is the big gap for the flatbed behind the tailgate. Thin liftarms should do the trick. And reversing the tailgate panel so logs don't get stuck when tipping. I could start a seperate Mods thread for 42139 if @Milan moves the last posts from here.

LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
R0Sch replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That 12x12 canopy piece looks pretty legit to me and also in the dimensions LEGO would do it. So I guess we'll have a 1:8 scale landspeeder. With the typical Technic frame interior, I think it's realistic for piece count and size. -
42139 - All-terrain Vehicle

Thanks, I could therefore update my bricklist. Wish we knew the designers from all Technic sets. Unofficial Designer Bricklists Yes, there is most of the times a hidden Easter egg in the sticker to show the designer. Like "UW" for Uwe Wabra, "MK" for Markus Kossmann etc. -
Thanks for the amazing review. It's definitely my top set for this year. Can't wait to get it at the usual discount rate. I wonder if similar to the pins the axles will get color locked as well? 5L axles only in yellow, 6L only red, etc. Just a few days ago I built The Batmobile Technic set and was really annoyed by the use of yellow 5L axles and red 2L ones in visible areas when they could have easily used the lbg and black ones instead, which are still in production.

All 3 chimpanzees are the same. What a shame. The initial leak seemed to show a dark brown variant too.- 87 replies

It's a bummer not to get 14T and 18T gears, but that would have been a pretty pointless ratio for the drive. I guess they had to make the 12T and 20T spur gears because the double bevel gears were not robust enough for this rough play feature. You can clearly see the spur gear teeth are not only wider but also higher and closer to a base involute without any profile shift. The new gear will definitely be more robust due to lower contact pressure from the higher contact pattern they offer.

No, it's the licensed CE vehicle of March 2022. I'm confident we'll get another licensed vehicle in August (similar to the T2) and maybe another one in October (similar to the Pickup Truck).

I'm not sure since the rim outer diameter seems to be over 8 studs. Only the 8448 tire might fit.- 5,506 replies

They don't. Totally different size. These ones are about 9 studs (70mm) in diameter. Pickup Truck tyres are 50mm.

The new Vespa wheels look great. I can see some cool oldtimer MOC's with these as well.- 5,506 replies

Looks like it's the 1960 Piaggio Vespa 125 VNB1T (#1 series MK1). Finally some realistic wheels for this size that can be used for future old-timer cars as well. I guess the set will be unveiled The set will be officially unveiled next week, February 24th and the release date (probably with the smaller Vespa GWP) is March the 1st, same as last years Porsche 911. Sure, here you go: https://brickshelf.com/gallery/R0Sch/42141/2x1x1/2x1x1_panel.col https://brickshelf.com/gallery/R0Sch/42141/2x1x1/2x1x1_panel.conn https://brickshelf.com/gallery/R0Sch/42141/2x1x1/2x1x1_panel.dat Yes, the actual design makes less sense than what we thought the part will look like. Makes it less versatile compared to the previous frames. I updated the CAD file according to the real part connection points: https://brickshelf.com/gallery/R0Sch/42141/3x19-Frame/technic_frame_3x19.col https://brickshelf.com/gallery/R0Sch/42141/3x19-Frame/technic_frame_3x19.conn https://brickshelf.com/gallery/R0Sch/42141/3x19-Frame/technic_frame_3x19.dat

I counted 7 gears+1 gear rack and 61 individual stickers! There is not even a gear reduction between engine and differential. :( It's a pity they let again Lars Krogh Jensen design such a set, same as last years heavily criticized Ferrari and the Porsche 911 RSR. After all he was also behind the awesome Cargo Plane or the legendary 8297 Off-roader.
