  1. This set is a step backwards compared to previous 1:8 scale F1 cars 20! years ago. The only new piece besides the trapezoidal fairings is a new 3x11 frame in black. I also counted over 65 stickers. They couldn't even bother to print the 8x8 tiles with the wrong P Zero livery.
  2. Don't worry, it's just an artifact from the heavy compression of the screenshot taken from the 360° animation rendering.
  3. I know, they didn't roll out globally yet. But don't wait too long if you are in need of Technic parts. The rear BMW tyre costs more than 25€ now!
  4. Does a blue P Zero wet track tire even exist? Thought the wet track have their own tradename "Cinturato". Not only that, but I think they made a mistake with the tires. It seems there is no blue P Zero wet track tire. The wet and intermediate have their own tradename "Cinturato" and "P Zero" are always slicks. Unless they are brand new for 2022, which would make the leak a spoiler for Pirelli as well not just McLaren. P Zero light blue is color code for Ice hard slicks. So double fail. Strangely, they did it right on the Speed Champions F1 car. Does one team really not know what the other is doing in TLG?
  5. LEGO just silently updated the B&P and merged it to PaB. The prices like for the new BMW Technic elements or animals have doubled!!! Really regret not buying the new wheels and shock absorbers before today.
  6. Makes sense. LEGO usually never reveals something new on a Friday. It's always Tuesday or Thursday.
  7. What about the official LEGO changes in the instructions? I think it's at least worth to mention them here, since they did fix 3 issues: hood, door and emblem. Sadly not the more technical ones like rear suspension and axle. That one extra 16T gear makes all the difference.
  8. This is why I hate such dumb leaks. And it's a valid reason for licensing partners to skip the next cooperation project with LEGO. Apart from the colors nothing much can be seen anyway and people just start guessing. Let's just wait a few days, shall we?
  9. Well, I guess this snapshot confirms different sized gears after all. Maybe 12T+20T or 14T+18T spur gears. The latter would make more sense to widen the ratio possibilities since 12 and 20 already exist.
  10. Eureka! It's not 80286 but a dbg 99773 thin triangle liftarm combined with a regular thin 5L liftarm. It makes so much sense and fits perfectly between the shocks to enable 2 bevel gears. So I think I finally cracked the mystery of the winch.
  11. Didn't think a gear color could start such a long debate. They are both same sized, axle driven 16T gears (just count the teeth on 1/4 circumference). They look different in size in the 360 animation because of the upward tilted frame and perspective view. Maybe they made them orange because of material or design change, like being able to slide on the axles like the red 8T.
  12. You should try to get used to working in Studio as LDD is pretty much obsolete. Even Studio does not have the latest parts like small Tractor wheels. Plus this tool is so much better than LDD and the renderings and animations capability is a big plus. But yeah, the winch spool is also the only thing I haven't figured out. The space is pretty limited and I don't see how another pair of bevel gears can fit under the hood and between the shock absorbers. Here is my Studio file. Maybe someone wants to have another go at this cause I'm exhausted: 42139_ATV.io
  13. It's like I did but there is a yellow half bush with a rubber band under the red bush to keep it in contact for ratcheting (can be seen in official picture below the seat). Also the axle is not red so it must be the connector with axle used in the chainsaw. Yes, I noticed that too. That means the 3rd axle can oscillate more around the drive axle than the 2nd because the telephone handle limiter is lower. Pretty cool feature imo.
  14. You are right on the suspension fixing. I'm nearly finished.
  15. www.lego.com is the product page. Here is the direct link to the video: https://www.lego.com/cdn/cs/set/assets/bltebffca0f8d299fe7/42140_v1.mp4
  16. The 2 orange gears are 16z for sure since they sit on the turquoise 3x3 liftarm. Regarding silly colors you are right, but this set has silly colors anyway including beams in the new neon yellow, something that I did not expect and hoped would stay City exclusive.
  17. Yep. They are probably limiting sideway movement of the suspension since there is no Panhard rod.
  18. Don't worry, they are orange and who cares if they are recolors of the same part as long as there are no red clutch gears included in the set? Maybe they are slightly altered 16z gears.
  19. I'm working on the Studio file. Tipping function is very similar to the John Deere trailer but at least they bothered with a tailgate here. Shock absorbers are connected one sided. I wish they were centered directly above the axles in a wishbone structure. We all know how much slack the frictionless pins have and how easy these shocks jam.
  20. The 3D animation on the LEGO site confirms it. I updated the model and xml. I'm short of only one part.
  21. High resolution images are available on lego.com. 42136_Tractor+Trailer.io I managed to finish the tractor and trailer. The trailer should be 100% accurate. It's a pity it doesn't have a tailgate and linear actuator like this:
  22. There are lots of new high resolution images on brickmerge.de. Really digging this set for it's complexity and functions.
  23. New high resolution images and to my surprise there are shock absorbers after all. https://www.brickmerge.de/img/sets/l/LEGO_42140_WEB_SEC03_NOBG.jpg https://www.brickmerge.de/img/sets/l/LEGO_42140_Box1_v39.jpg https://www.brickmerge.de/img/sets/l/LEGO_42140_Box5_v39.jpg https://www.brickmerge.de/img/sets/l/LEGO_42140.jpg
