  1. Thicker teeth don't mean that the module is different. With a profile shift you can get that thicker teeth, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily incompatible. Maybe @kbalage can share some light on this as he has the set in hand and can say for sure if other gears mesh with the new 14T and 22T gears.
  2. That's not what this commercial shows me.
  3. If only I knew this, before buying the red version of the Italian Sportscar from CaDA. The yellow one was so tempting but I didn't find it second-hand at a reasonable price. All gears in LEGO Technic have the same module of 1, so they are compatible of course.
  4. Don't worry the weight of 3,06 kg is enough to let even these springs sag a little. There is almost no ground clearance left. Yes, that is very useful. Also the fact that we finally get a new 14T gear, albeit being a bevel gear one.
  5. A bunch of new panels in red and the new yellow 14T and 22T from the Ferrari Daytona set.
  6. You do know that the book will cost 80 US dollars and will be limited to 5000 pcs. and all reviewers and influencers already got their copy, right? Good luck fighting with the resellers over it. We all know what happens when LEGO announces a limited ed. item and how well the website performs in those few minutes.
  7. I feel you. Just remember this set is not targeted at LEGO Technic fans who know the parts by heart, but at Ferrari and sports car fans who never built a LEGO set before. Basically all 18+ sets are mainly marketed at new customers.
  8. You don't see the underside of the model in the official pics, but I made some screenshots from RB's review.
  9. Interesting parts but after blue straight gears we get another pair of bevel gears in yellow just to add to the color palette. As if it was easy to mix them up. I think the inside spring is still the same stiffness, RacingBrick also thinks so, and it's just recolored to make it match the real car's suspension.
  10. Finally a proper tire thread profile for a sportscar, but boy oh boy did they exaggerate with the part colors. This thing can be built by an 8 year old. I don't like the closed off exhaust mufflers. Also, these 4 type of red plates could have been easily recolored in transparent red.
  11. Technically, it's not the same spring if it's recolored to red.
  12. I can't believe everything is printed, even the 8x16 tile! Looks awesome. So now we know the limited slipcase is just a book https://www.legonewsroom.de/?p=12459
  13. Don't know which ones you mean, but I only found this here: https://www.rynekzabawek.pl/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/image_processing20220523-8898-yarsij.jpg Nevermind, found them on PB.
  14. @AmperZand Why do you need a merger? It's not my fault people are still discussing on the general rumors and speculations page AFTER I specifically separated the topic to have all the facts in one place. Besides, after the rumors are officially confirmed, this would be the page to post the set pictures and voice your opinions about it. And for the non-believers out there, you can bet this set is more than a rumor, if blogs with reliable track record already know details that they can describe or even make sketches of.
  15. Who said anything about a skirt? She'll be battle ready with a yellow cape, armor, sword, shield and helmet or alternatively haripiece+crown.
  16. Wanted to recreate the leaked image in Studio and post a rendering of the set here, but too many details are blurry. Y'all know where to find it anyway. It looks really good imo. Hopefully those printed shields and torsos will be available on PaB so I can improve Castle in the Forest.
  17. The cow representing an ox is pulling a cart so there is no room for it in a stable. I guess you can put the 2 horses in the area between prison cell and kitchen, if not there is plenty of room in one of the other chambers. And the little lamb will end up as dinner for all the hungry lions anyway.
  18. @Mr Maniac The sketch shows pretty well the proportions and the color palette. The tree trunk will still be black like the original and the foliage green. It's not trying to look realistic but pay homage to 6054.
  19. The bard from series 22 CMF predicted the Foresmen comeback and we will get the same torso in this set for the boy and the same blue hat with the farmer. Also the succulents confirmed the green hat. Since the set doesn't contain any throne, I don't think we'll get any matching king in the next CMF series. I am perfectly happy with a widowed warrior queen manning the troops alone. :)
  20. Most likely not LEGO exclusive and at least available at selected retailers, same as the Galaxy Explorer set.
  21. It's a playset people, not a historically accurate AFOL set, so be a little more forgiving.
  22. @Roebuck I'll change the minifigure list, you might be right that baker and farmer are 2 different minifigures and yes, the girl is a young female ranger in Forestmen outfit.
  23. After the initial speculations by Stonewars, we now have a confirmation by Promobricks that there will be another 90th anniversary set coming out this summer. A re-imagined Classic Space 947 Galaxy Explorer (US), aka 928 Classic Cruiser and Moon Base in Europe, from 1979. But the main focus will be on the spaceship alone, a 3D or printed baseplate and communications tower will NOT be included. The cockpit consists of two back-to-back 12 x 6 x 2 windscreen pieces in trans yellow (the same part as used in 70816 Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!). The propulsion engines are more detailed and the overall look of the spaceship is less studded and the wing tips are completely tiled. The cockpit is equipped with various consoles, and there are also different consoles and sleeping quarters in the crew area. Also the Classic Space logo and "LL928" will be printed. As with the original, the rear section can be folded out to the left and right, revealing a small rover exploration vehicle. The crew of the LEGO 10497 Galaxy Explorer consists of four astronauts, two in white and two in red Classic Space suits. Stonewars also mentions a small brick-built robot. The set consist of 1254 parts and will most likely not be LEGO exclusive and retail for 109.99 €. Set number: 10497 Name: Galaxy Explorer Piece count: 1254 Number of minifigures: 4 (2 red and 2 white Classic Spacemen) Release date: August 1 2022 Availability: LEGO Price: 109.99 99.99 Euro Size: W = 32 cm (12.6"), L = 52.5 cm (20.7") Official images:
  24. The castle consists of gatehouse with ramp and drawbridge, a dungeon with 2 cells, an armory, a kitchen, a millstone connected to the water wheel, a treasury, a dining room and the queen's chambers.
