  1. I know.... You just want to leave the Empire and join the rebellion... You're welcome my friend Thanks. You should head to the LEGO Digital Designer and other digital tools forum. To render LDD file I use LDDtoPOVRay, you'll find thread about it in the subforum I linked
  2. So it's friday everywhere in the world, except in NZ where it's already Saturday... So if you still have to post your entry, well it's too late Thanks to all the participants, it was a really nice contest! Thanks a lot to Nom Carver for his hard work on it!
  3. Well... thanks a lot BEAVeR... I think... I knew some parts I used didn't exist, mostly dark browns one... And I assure you that I often checked availability on bricklink when I used odd and rare pieces... So I used LDD Manager to see the list you are refering to, and checked on Bricklink too, and I was really surprised to see that some bricks in LDD normal mode don't exists... So I guess that I'll have to be even more carefull in the future, and that the SoNE staff will have to decide if my entry should be disqualified I always "finish" the models, and I could spent weeks just looking at it from every angles to add details, even if they won't even show on the pictures, like those firecrabs or the heatshields projectors (well ok, it's only 4L trans-blue bars) on the underside of the platform. My real problem is that I continue to do that even after I've post the pictures, and in that case, even after Bbqqq has done all the rendering I wanted to chance some small details that no one would have noticed The hexagonal base (well in fact there are 7 hexes, in tribute to Scott Pïlgrim VS the world) is so better that a boring square I wasn't happy with the round platform, so I tried different shapes and found that the hexagons could do a nice base. Yes cause it's important to have a structural support, isn't it?
  4. Nice one BEAVeR. Do you want me to comment on this part?
  5. 4 hours left! And already 28 entries... great episode everyone
  6. Thanks everyone for your kind comments Edit: Added a link to the LDD file Thanks Lobot, but I honestly think that there are far more greater entries than mine. Who said staff can't enter? The only one that can't enter is the episode host, as he is the one that write the rules for a given episode
  7. In case of a tie, I think the Alliance should win... we'll win anyway
  8. Some nice architecture You could almost put your entry on top of mine
  9. The ship is great! And the action going on there is... disturbing... but nicely done
  10. Really nice, the forced perspective is great. But I doubt Rebels would fall into such a trap
  11. Oops... Too much different letters, got confused....
  12. Responding to the distress call of the Rebels engaging the imperial troops underground, Bob De Quatre led his assault barge to the dock 43. After destroying the defense turret, he unload the assault squad on the platform. their plan is simple... The dock 43 is building above a small patch of ashes, where some plants manage to grow slowly thanks to the trace of humidity brought by a sewer exhaust. A couple of firecrabs live here, eating the harsh plants. Plan A: the R2 unit will open the doors and they'll proceed to the command station, unnoticed. Plan B: if R2Q5 fails to open the door, the squad will blow up the doors and proceed to the command station, noticed. Plan C: if the doors blasting fails, they'll enter by the sewer entrance and proceed to the command station, noticed and smelling like mellcrawlers... So this is my entry for SoNE ep. IV! My first time with landscape, rockwork and lava... Ended up pretty well I think. I may add a pictures to show the plants and firecrabs under the platform Edit: Here is the LDD file And a big thanks to Bbqqq for rendering the LDD files! It would have took me ages to render these

  14. Really nice diorama! It's great to see all those classic pirates sets used together. And so much details! I recently saw a TV show about Port Royal, and it's story is quite interesting.
  15. Remember that it's a domination challenge, so both Rebels and Imperial don't want to unveil their strategy too soon
  16. Try to contact someone at TotoLUG, they did some awesome Unikitty Unikitty by Melan-E, on Flickr
  17. I always knew Vader was too kind... If he had let go to his emotions, the Alliance would have won a long time ago!
  18. Nice models you got here
  19. You can build from any video games or movies, except for star wars since it's not covered by Eurobricks Sci-Fi subforum
  20. Yes you can use any size of baseplate as long as it's no bigger than 16x16=256 studs².
  21. Yes exactly... But I found out that the axle connectors are wider than the thinner part of the worm gear
  22. I'm not sure if it's possible, but a 4 studs long version could work with 2 linked crossaxles (with a 59443 or 6538), so you could have an even longer actuator since it won't be limited by the length of the crossaxle.
  23. One week left (and a few hours depending on where you live) to post entries
