[MOC] The annual tribute to the dead Jabba

Really great MOC! And nice story! The clan symbol is really well done I just think that Jabba's statue shouldn't be hollow. -
There might be a way to reinforce it: remove the two central arch on each wing's undersides and replace them with hinges, and join them with plates... it's impossible in LDD as there is a very small gap. Maybe it's just a model tohat have to stay on shelves... but still it looks really good in bricks

Zenith - Old Republic escort cruiser
Bob De Quatre replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's something I learned while building my SSD -
Don't use glue!! Did you used the last lxf file I posted? Could you post some pictures? I'll try to see how to reinforce it if it's possible. Anyway it's not a model designed to be swooshed around Edit: I updated the lxf file, added some bricks with stud on sides to hold the wings. I left the changes in blue, but it should be grey or dark grey.

Vespids: Next Generation 'Stealth Wasp' Hover Gunships
Bob De Quatre replied to xenologer's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Too bad LDD lacks some parts, I would have tried to build it... I like that sort of challenge -
Star wars has it's own subforum as it's a big official Lego theme.

I guess you started with the part list of the set 7701 and removed the leftover parts seen in this picture: -
Entry 3: 3 points Entry 1: 2 points Entry 5: 1 points A lot of great entries, very well done guys and girl(s)!! Entry 4 and Entry 5 (sorry for being too lazy to write the names) are really similar and it was hard to decide who to give the point... The rock shark in entry 5 makes the difference for me.

Thanks Well I wanted to add a big gun underneath, but I kind of rushed the build (4 days is too much!!) so I left it with only the two guns on the sides.

The year is 2153. The fourth world war has ended for a few years, and the Syndicate Of Furnitures and Home Appliances savour it’s victory against the Free Consumers Alliance. To control the suburban areas, the SOFHA dispatched the Dyson AM97-X, a hovercraft powered by the Air Multiplier technology™. Fast and agile, it was also noiseless, making it a dreadful enemy for the FCA.

Imperial Hallway Vignette WIP - My first MOC
Bob De Quatre replied to RaptorBandito's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's a really nice vignette! You should check out the Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka contest and come build for the rebellion! -
That brings back memories.... I got Rebel Assault with the first CD-ROM drive I purchased in 1994

Thanks guys I wanted the ship to be able to land, and the only way was to fold the wing up. The landing gears are attached to the wing and go into landing position when the wings go up. I like to have "realistic" details like this, and sometimes it can affect the whole model. I shouldn't build while at work, but if I don't, I would never have finished the Zenith. And I like to be able to build whenever I got a good idea! Yesterday I've spent almost all day on this baby... So today I'll have to work a lot It's sometimes hard to find a good story, or to include my ships into something existing, especially because of the looks of my builds that are not quite Starwarish. For this one I've done a lot of research on the existing ships, and I learned much. Well... I am the lan supervisor...

Wait a minute... You are jealous of me?? Stop kidding... I still want that LDD file... I'm curious about how you've done it. Sadly I just can't go to London... I don't have the budget, and to be honest I've never been to a Lego convention. Thanks -
Wow that's an unusual mistake...

I know there is not much activities in the Sci-fi forum compared to the Historic forum, but I can assure you that a man have already been here! That's maybe the best part of your post

Thanks all I didn't know that IRD-A fighter, but yes the cockpit might be similar

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion
Bob De Quatre replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
You should check wich image you give to the generator. I've tested using the image in your post and I got this: It's not perfect because your image is 95x98... I should correct all those flaws in the generator... -

"The RZ-2 was designed by the defected Incom engineers that joinned the Rebellion. It's developpement was driven by the necessity to have a multipurpose light fighter, fast anbd agile even in atmospheric flight." "The Incom RZ-1, also known as the A-wing, undergo the same treatment that Kuat System did to their Delta-7 to create the Eta-2 fighter. All the electronics and systems were reworked to gain space and weight. The difficult maneuverability of the A-wing was corrected by using 4 smaller engines (but with an equal or even superior total power), each one with stabilizer flaps to adjust the thrust. Control surfaces were fixed to the wing tips to enhance flight in atmosphere. All of those were controlled by an advanded flight system, so that the pilots didn't have to adjust carefully the stabilizer. All the weapon systems were mounted on the front part of the wings, and comprised two laser cannons and two light ion cannons. Additionnal concussion missiles launcher could be attached under the wings." A quick build I did yesterday while at work... I like the overall shape but I'm not happy with some details like the "holes" in the canopy or the showing underside of the 3x14 wedges... I didn't wanted to build an Eta-2, but it ended up looking like one. At first I wanted to include a R2 unit, but not just the head, but it was too difficult. I hope you'll like it even with it's flaws.
