  1. So you have the same problem as me... I've started thinking not to display my SSD horizontaly but at an angle that will reduce the strain of gravity. Maybe I'll try something this week end.
  2. On the latest pics it seems you added a transparent support for the tail. Did that part ofyour MOC experience issues with gravity?
  3. You mean Seriously that's something I don't understand either... European kids aren't smarter than US kids, and they don't aim better I think... But I remember as a kid that shooting with the cannons was really fun. Poor US kids..
  4. That seems a nice set for pirates ! You got a turtle, some golden longviews, foliage, some brown and tan bricks, a clamshell and a nice pink ribbon!
  5. I love these forgotten halls The waterfall is really great, as are the two statues. I really like the "cutted" earth and river on the borders. The height of the hall is impressive.
  6. Amazing work ! It's so full of details and so lively ! I'm wondering what is the green rolled thingy on the table inside the cave. Did you consider changing the brown cones on the palissade with ligh tan ones like *cough*Iforgothisname*cough* did recently?
  7. Nice swamp creature Just a detail, but I think you could have lowered the orc legs, like he had water to his knees or waist...
  8. Wow... seriously I've spent like 10 minutes to figure out what bricks you used for the floor... I'm not familiar with all the evil building technics that are used in this subforum
  9. Nice review I had that set back then, and I confirm that the playability was 9/10, but 10/10 when combined with any other small and cheap pirate sets. I really liked these sets, not many parts, but lot of accessories! Plus there is a small base-plate, I think that nowadays it's not so common (I may be wrong on that).
  10. The two options are good. On first though, I think it's better to separate what belongs to the videogames, and what belongs to the books... The videogames category will allow EBers to recreate anything seen in SW videogames from the last 30 years... The books category will allow EBers to bring to life ships, buildings or scene that have only been described in books... And some builds might belong to the two categories
  11. Really nice tower, and the lighting isn't that bad I think it lacks embrasures for the deadly archer to shoot their deadly arrows...
  12. I was young during the M-tron era, I had a lots of them... but when I get my Lego back this summer from my parent's house, I discovered they were not in the boxes
  13. Cool M-tron viper But it lacks the space-mailbox with the magnets
  14. Nice report ! I hope that the pirates loving animals will get what they want... err well you understand what I meant And poor dodo... exterminated a second time
  15. I'd like to have the imperial tag. Thanks Oky and all the participant

Really nice shapes, I love it
  17. Of course I know it couldn't get bigger due to the structure size. I just hope Imir Klaue isn't claustrophobic For the secret passage I also thought of The legend of Zelda *insert the "secret passage found" sound*
  18. Wow you did a very nice build... again I love the way you did the cliff and the water.
  19. Really nice as always I find it a little small for a throne room, but that's maybe because I watched the two seasons of Game of throne during the last week The regent got inspired by Jabba's palace...
  20. I didn't know Lego got the license for the Power Ranger
  21. Now I want that on my desk... You'll have to take responsability markus1984 !!
  22. I agree with Anio, my SSD is too big. When you build a UCS model, you had to make compromise, as everything is not realizable with Lego bricks.I think I thought about details that Anio didn't, and vice versa. For example I spent a lot of time studiying the studio model and tried to reproduce the shapes and details, that's maybe why my SSD is flater than Anio's... but that's also why it got a frailer structure. Telling wich model is better than another is a personnal choice. And I won't say that mine is better that Anio's or that his is better than mine... I'd say they are different in many points (shape, size, ...) and you should make your own choice... Anyway, if you want to build a SSD during the next month, go with Anio's one, it's a great model, Anio is a great builder and you won't be disappointed
  23. I'm not fan of that chibi style, but you captured the characters very well, they are so recognizable. Good job
  24. It's really nice. The shape and the colorscheme are great. Maybe a little too many guns for a starwars ship of that size
