  1. Did some building today, the platform for the upper city. I had to use some replacement parts as I have not yet all the bricks needed. Building in brick showed me that some connections are not strong enough, so I'll have to do some modifications. The good news is that I can finally see the SSD in it's (almost) full length...
  2. Wow so nice, so steampunk but yet realistic
  3. I really like your fleet The different ships are very well designed I need to give a try at micro building, it will be a new challenge after my current project and its 10k+ bricks
  4. First I wondered what those bley parts were doing there... I really like the border, you sure put some efforts in it.
  5. They are really nice
  6. I just wanted to share a WIP comparison picture of the Astradea with the Magdeon... I blackened the Astradea so that its characteristics are not revealed And obviously the Magdeon is oriented at 90°... didn't see that before The ship is 30% finished I think, and stand at 8300 bricks...
  7. Theses are really great! There are pieces I even don't know, had to search them in LDD
  8. It happening in the sci-fi forum, and by what I've seen in the starwars forum the other day, it seems to be related to the user "ralph".
  9. Thank you. The project I'm currently working on made me rethink the term "massive"
  10. Very nice as always. Are the landing train retractable?
  11. You should keep some brain to explode in a few days
  12. I too loved that scene... But I couldn't help wondering how many years are supposed to be between the last scene of episode 3 and the begining of episode 4? Because in what seems to be 20-25 years, the empire managed to get rid of all the cool ships that are in episode 3, including the venator class
  13. Thanks for your comments Yes the arm-like structures are the plasma beam emitter. I wanted to make a technical sheet with info on all the parts of the ship... but got lazy I decided to have a lot of smaller engines rather than a big one and I think it's pretty good that way and carries a unique feeling. But I understand, and the ship I'm working on at the moment has bigger engines (in fact it's engine section is almost as big as that entire frigate...) Edit: Here is a screenshot of the engines of the Astradea currently under construction in my shipyard
  14. You want me to build a cruiser with the same scale? I don't know if LDD can handle it ;)
  15. Thanks, my last build is finally over, so I'll have some to think of a third idea
  16. Nice MOC I need to find another idea for my entry
  17. The Magdeon frigate was the first battleship build with large plasma beam emitter as main weapon. The plasma is build up by a large generator and accumulated before being released by the two emitter. Excess static electricity is evacuated through two discharger betwee the generator and the engines. Some caracteristics: - 4 engines providing power to 80 thrusters - 1 hyperdrive engine - 2 plasma beam emitter - 4 double heavy canons - 8 laser turrets The static discharger in action That baby was built to try some curves and shapes techniques, some I already used in other MOCs. So no interiors, and no tiled bathroom Hope you enjoyed it.
  18. I like the "old school" style. I'm a big fan of Homeworld (come on release a new Homeworld!!!) and the designs of your ships could easily be part of the game.
  19. I love your Blackron MOC, surely because it reminds me of when I was young during the Blacktron era The scarab is great
  20. That MOC has a major flaw You can't wear it
  21. Am I weird thinking the kraken is more appealling than Poseidon and that Poseidon seems more horrendous than the kraken??
  22. Very nice! It remembers me when I was a kid I used to try to build robotic hands with Lego...
  23. Wanted to build a futuristic urban fight between two factions... but I discovered that I suck at building buildings So I'll just show you the two main pieces of the fight, They are not polished, so it's like a look at my virtual scrap table The Hellcrawler, a mechanized quadrupede. The upper body rotates at 360°, and each of the guns rotate at 180°. 24. It's a nice project, but it's just a normal theater. I still prefer your creation, which is very well build, uses the right parts and fits perfectly in the existing civil medieval sets
  25. Very nice !! I was also preparing a midi scale venator for the CB... I'll do something else
