  1. Game Workshop can't sue every single person on the internet using the "Space Marines" name, but when one of these person is close enough to make profit upon that name, they'll strike... So as long as the cuusoo project was only an AFOL project, they said nothing, but when that project reached the next step, the lawyers made their move... Just my thoughts... I hope it will go well, and that a better name than Space Troopers will be found
  2. Yeah, autoquote!! So I've sent an email to the Lego customer service, and I just got an answer, saying that they sent me the missing bricks
  3. You already told me that I won't be building the upper city before month, so I'll have time to think of a way to do that. Thanks I might redo all the city, since I'm not so pleased with how it looks now. But as I've said, this will have to wait. The blocks are almost all uniques. I've build four or five 12 studs long blocks, and built the city with them, changing part of them to avoid repeating patterns and to keep as close as possible to the model. Here are the reference pics I've used. I've received my bricklink order this morning, and I got 5 robot arms instead of 20 2x2 round bricks...
  4. Maybe the prize should go to the second place, and not the first (aka ACPin)
  5. The legs Are really nice! The torso may be too thin at the waist, but I think it looks odd only because there is no arms I'll also share a WIP of the Astradea, since I've already posted a shot of the engines back in september. It's hard to work on it, my computer have trouble handling the 20k bricks astradea par BobDeQuatre, sur Flickr
  6. When I readed that line, I couldn't help but feel like Luke when Darky told him about his father... I think I'll have to disassemble my SSD to enter this contest
  7. Thanks for sharing all these creations? So what will be your daily builds for december??
  8. Congrat's on the 10k!
  9. Wouhou... guess who forgot to check the "Yes I want to join the Lego VIP program" checkbox?? Anyway, there was a free delivery at the Shop@Home last week end, so I ordered almost every parts that I need and are available on the Pick-a-Brick. Now I only miss a few parts for the engines...
  10. Wow so hungry now...
  11. That's a big ship! A ramp or a landing bay would have been really great
  12. I think the blue pin is used to attach the purple thingy in which the human is captive. If you put the two boxes edge together, there seems to be a neon green structure on the surface of the moon(?) from which the green smoke seems to come off...
  13. It may be a good idea to have a place to regroup and share building techniques.
  14. My entry... not so happy about it, it was better in my mind
  15. Unique is the word...very well done
  16. It's not in the MOC index as it's not finished, but the thread is here
  17. Wow the guy got acces to Krell minifig and didn't even post a pic of it "assembled"
  18. I just saw that it was the first anniversary of the Guilds of Historica (judging by the creation dates of the threads...) I wanted to thanks everyone of you for the amazing builds you've done and for the ones to come, for the building technics, and for the many good stories. I hope I'm sure you will continue to astonish us with beautifull creations in the beautifull kingdom of Historica
  19. First you should take a look at LDD manager here. You'll get a wanted list with all the needed parts. Considering the order(s)... I bricklinked my SSD, so nearly 4000 bricks to buy. I first searched for good sellers, with what seems good prices, and with the maximum of bricks I need. Then I created a spreedsheet and wrote the price for each brick and each shop to get something like this(warning long to load). It helped me find the best prices for each brick and lower the total cost. What you should also consider is the shipping cost, as for each order, you'll get shipping cost, which could destroy all that "find the cheaper shop for that brick" effort. Hope I helped you, and good luck for that amazing MOC.
  20. If it's equiped with a bacon launcher, that a viper I'd like to fight against
  21. Awesome build! The cliff is really realistic, some brown plates would have been nice just between the rock and the grass. The caves are large and full of fun little scene. My bad english doesn't allow me to say all I wanted to say... And I don't trust Google translate
  22. Love that monkey viper I'm impressed you manage to build them daily. A few month ago I did the same with starwars LDD MOC, and after 8 days I couldn't keep up. So good luck with the 20 remaining days
  23. I'll try to contact EB staff about it. And I'm absolutely amazed by your new avatar... because I've the exact same fig on my desk and I wanted to shot it today to change my avatar...
  24. Are these footprints under the snowspeederbike? The base is incredible, and the "not to scale" power generator are really nice and they fit well wwith the rest of the scene
