UCS 10221 Super Star Destroyer - another modding attempt
Bob De Quatre replied to Hansdampf's topic in LEGO Star Wars
To be honest, I don't really know how the 10221 is built. But I think I used the same angle, as the angle is defined by the 12x3 wedge plates. I built the frame the same way Anio did so you may want to look at his instructions, but I used a very different way to attach the hull panels. You can see more about my SSD on this thread and on my flickr (click on the pic in my previous post). -
UCS 10221 Super Star Destroyer - another modding attempt
Bob De Quatre replied to Hansdampf's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That a big overlap For my SSD rendition I've fixed the "wings" on technic axle, as you can see in this picture: Maybe it can help you. -
It's nice to see variety. The first droids were really nice, but the winged variant is so cool

Great designs and colour schemes, but the pilots may lacks visibility, especially on the last one

Really nice, must be looking great on your bookshelf

The AT-AT is awesome. But what catch my attention, is the alternate model your Nebulon B frigate

I knew the Corruscant planet would be a nice steampunk part Really nice war machine, but it lacks a flamethrower

Thanks. I've done a "final" version. It's frustrating not being able to brickbuilt it... beetlejuice6 par BobDeQuatre, sur Flickr I really like the dino. The jaw looks cool

Did some work on LDD tonight. I'm not sure about the bumpers, and I wonder if I should build bigger guns... beetle par BobDeQuatre, sur Flickr beetlejuice2 par BobDeQuatre, sur Flickr

A really nice weapon for hamster's world domination -
I'm disappointed... I can see 3 studs on that MOC !! Really nice flying machine! The colors work well together, the charging station is a great detail, and the minifig looks cool

Bob De Quatre replied to Lobot's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You're making me want to build one too It's nice to see the progress, and I can imagine how you feel when you begin to assemble "large" parts- 290 replies

Galaxy Squad MOC: Armored Rapid Response Walker (ARRoW)
Bob De Quatre replied to Tereglith's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I didn't read all of the backstory But it's a cool build. Having a mailbox as storage space is not something you see often on MOC of that size -
Really nice. I like the mix of old and new features And again a wall mount... I'm curious how you did it Oh and I'd like to see some pictures of the shelves in the background I saw a Nebulon B frigate

BrickLinking (another) 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon
Bob De Quatre replied to Lobot's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Good luck with your build Lobot! The advices you give are the ones I've used when bricklinking my UCS SSD. I've used a google doc spreadsheet to track the prices of all the bricks in different shops, including PAB. PAB is almost every time more expensive than one of the bricklink's sellers... but the shipping cost is way cheaper and fixed. My bricklink orders had an average shipping cost of 9€, and PAB is 5€ no matter what you buy. And it could even be better... If you're not in a hurry (wich you shouldn't be when building UCS), sometimes PAB offer the shipping costs- 290 replies

@Steebles1908: The space behind the tanks is disturbing. Maybe you could add a larger grey tank.. The scientist face is strange with blond hair and brown beard, but I like the fact that he has a normal face, not a mad scientist face . @rongYIREN: The dino looks good, but I think it's a little too bulky, and it lacks greebles or mechanical elements compared with your terror bird... Maybe that's because it's an LDD render.

Amazing work! Maybe it would be better if the side legs could rotate a little.
