I'll say the same things as Kristel and J4ke. I didn't enter the contest mainly because there was the SW contest at the same time, and I used almost all my "new" parts for it, and it took me a lot of time to complete. I think having a subforum dedicated to the contests, like in the SW forum, would be a good improvement.

[LDD MOC] "Redemption" Nebulon-B escort frigate
Bob De Quatre replied to L-DI-EGO's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm not a fan of the play features... But you managed to includes them in a beautiful design of the Nebulon B frigate! I've seen your cuusoo project yesterday or the day before as I was searching for a UCS version of my favorite capital ship to build after I'm done with my UCS SSD. -
Does anyone know if it's in scale with the UCS B-Wing? I might get it, but I'll surely mod some areas...

I love the slickness of the legs And the reflection on the cockpit in the first pic is awesome

Updated: [MOC/CUUSOO] Star Wars Combineable Battlepacks
Bob De Quatre replied to samiam391's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Like I've said a few post ago, you should try to add a corner set, to connect 2 corridor set. This could add a lot of playability. And for a new set, I'd like to see Bespin -

[MOC] Yet another Super Star Destroyer Executor...
Bob De Quatre replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
According to LDD, I'll need approx 1800 pieces to complete the uppercity and I hope to finish it when I'll have enough money to buy those 1800 pieces I'll only use light grey for the upper city, but I think it might looks good in dark grey... And for the other colors, there is plenty of them inside I've also wanted to include some trans blue plates, and some lighting, but it wasn't possible due to the style of city I've build. But adding blue LEDs might be nice. If you mod your SSD, please show it to us -

I love it too I can't build the city, but I really wanted to add the command tower. -

[MOC] Yet another Super Star Destroyer Executor...
Bob De Quatre replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Again a lot of pics. Sorry for the messy background The solution for the top panels. They flip on the sides of the SSD, allowing access to the insides of the beast. Except for the uppercity, which I won't build for now due to the lack of money, the SSD is almost finished. I still need to buy some parts for the engines, finish the bottom panels and rebuild the greebles of the port side. As I've modified many things but don't have many spare parts, I might need to buy some more plates. As I've said in the precedent post, the SSD is 40cm large, 12cm tall (26cm with the feets), and 157cm long. -

Thanks. I've tried some design with flat hinges... but for now I must find a better way to attach the top side panels Edit: I've found a system to attach the top panels. I've made some measurements and that "baby" is 40cm large, 12cm tall (26cm with the feets), and 157cm long -

Here is the rear block The frame without and with the rear block From the bottom And a bonus pic -
The ETF trucks are really amazing, but I think we will probably see a lego technic version before an actual pic off the real truck If you could keep the style and modularity of the trucks it would be awesome. Maybe build a little lifter for the power-modules:

I've thought to built that area studs down, but that would be a lot of work... It is brickbuild!! But I still need the bricks for the engines, as I couldn't find the rims needed in bley. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. -

Really nice fighter -
Looks promising Did you considered allowing the island to split open so you can add an interior inside the rock base like a cellar?

I updated the the rear of the ship to limit the bending. Initially the rear lower city was attached to the frame, and the upper city was divided in 3 parts that were just put on top of the frame on plates, the rear most also comprised the tail to goes all the way to the ship. (can be seen on that pic) I decided to make a block with the rear of the frame, the engines, the rearrest upper city and the tail. That block will just slide into the main frame. This have two advantage, The rear is stronger and bends a lot less, and I can work on it more easyly. executor_v2r0b par BobDeQuatre, sur Flickr To lock the two part of the ship I used a technic axle that can have bushes screwed on it, but I didn't found it in LDD. -
To be honest I really liked the first wings
