  1. I really like the Y-wing, too. Not to be picky, but maybe the engine spars should be a bit longer.
  2. Saw this initially over on FB, still amazed by it. Really great MOC, fantastic detail and accuracy.
  3. I guess I'm in the minority about the Rogue Shadow. It's the one set I'd be willing to part with. The wings are odd, the build is funky, and it feels quite unfinished. The minifigs are cool, but that's about all. @Brickpreviews: I have both sets, built them recently. It's really personal choice. I really liked both builds, and both sets are great display pieces. Minifigures in both are also really cool, so it's a tough decision. I guess if they are both the same price I'd go with the ISD, since it retails for more and sounds like a better deal.
  4. Brilliant! Simple amazing, great work. I love all the detail inside and out. The the other's have said, your scale is perfect. I also like the various cameos that are seen, like the Geonosian and the Gammorean.
  5. I hear Target is shutting down all of their stores in Canada. I bet you'll see some great deals, my neighbors to the north.
  6. That's just insane!! I absolutely love this MOC, just amazing! Could you post more close-ups of the AT-ATs? They look just brilliant.
  7. I really like this story. This latest MOC is fantastic! The zero-G suits are my favorite part. I can't wait to see them in action attacking a Rebel ship.
  8. It does have a spot for Chopper. The top portion of the main hull is only held on by a couple of studs, it's meant to be taken off. Chopper fits neatly inside each foot standing on one of those 1x2 grate pieces. I was also pleasantly surprised at this set. It is a fun build and a cool little set, especially for the price.
  9. I totally forgot to put the measurement! Sorry. The front edge of the shelf is 16.5" from the wall, so there's a bit of space between 10030 and the wall; maybe like 1/8". The shelf itself is about 7" wide I believe. So depending on your display area you could add to a current shelf by using supports underneath, like the 2x2s I used to extend the reach of the brackets.
  10. I made my own shelf for 10030; had to reinforce it a bit for the weight and size of the ship. I used 2x2 furring strips cut to size, bolted them to regular steel shelf brackets, then bolted a shelf from IKEA to the top. I cut the corners and painted them to get the Death Star look.
  11. Agreed. This is a very popular set, and I am sure those of us that are waiting can get a copy.
  12. So did S@H run out of the mini AT-DP? I went to order some sets and it wasn't added to my bag.
  13. Good eye. That ship has a ramp just like the Imperial Shuttle and a couple of Royal Guards. Must be someone important. It's also huge for a TIE.
  14. I completely agree, Khaled! Though those sets are not up to today's standards, they are still fantastic sets. My first one was also 7150, and I will never forget my excitement to see real Star Wars LEGO sets.
  15. I really like the photo that compares all three. Nice work!!
  16. I built a whole room around my SW LEGO collection. Check out my signature for the pics.
  17. Nice! Now a shot with JarJar's dismembered head in the rancor's mouth. Hehehe
  18. A big Echo Base set?? Too cool!!! Like everyone else I was underwhelmed by the last version. I MODed it to attach to the blast doors from the previous set (the set numbers elude me at this time). 2015 is going to be an expensive year for me!
  19. Cool! Love that cockpit mod. I just finished building the set, and I must say I like it a lot more than the previous version. Now to attempt these brilliant modifications.
  20. Very nice review, and great photos. I like how you included other sets for scale. However, I am in the camp that isn't a fan of the set. It just isn't very well-designed, and looks like it has poor accuracy. I'm not a big PT set collector, but I like to have a decent representation of iconic vehicles. I'll pass on this one.
  21. LOL, Lobot is right. Fett "died" in 1983 in ROTJ. Rumors are that there will be a separate movie featuring him. This set looks like it'll be a lot of fun to build and a great display piece. I can't wait for January!
  22. LOL, yeah it is an awesome set. It is the centerpiece on display in my Death Star room. You really need to get it out of that dusty attic!
  23. H_Solo, your pics aren't showing up. Could they be bad links? I'd really like to see your finished Falcon!
