  1. I'm guessing you like the Sam Raimi ones better?
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  3. I'm not sure if we went over this in like the last 20 pages or not, but do you guys think TLG might do something similar and release 2 of the new Hobbit sets that are directly based on TABA, like Mirkwood Spiders and Barrel Escape at this last year? Sorry if we did talk about this before, I'm ridiculously tired right now and the last few pages of the thread have been kind of all over the place.
  4. I think it would depend on how much Jackson decides to feature the Company's interaction with Beorn; if he expands it into more than just a short stay (which he probably will judging by the DoS teaser), then I think it's possible to have both bear and minifigure in order to reinforce the significance of his skinchanging.
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  6. When you tell your parents that you need snacks from Walmart but really just spend a good 10 minutes in the Lego aisle. I still end up getting chips so I'm not sure if this one works as well.
  7. Yeah, I wish TLG had started the Marvel Superheroes line right away in 2011 instead of focusing solely on the first wave of DC sets; I think there was a 2 month gap between the start of Superheroes and First Class' release so they would've have time to make a few.
  8. The north remembers.

  9. I don't think I've seen anyone post this yet, but here are the first official posters for DOFP:
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  11. Happy belated welcome!
  12. I think the Yoda Chronicles one would be more likely, if just to help promote that aspect of the overall Star Wars line.
  13. So Runescape 3 was released today, and I really like the new theme song; good to know they're starting to move into fully orchestrated music now as opposed to purely MIDI sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34jILWXzJDQ
  14. It really depends on whether you prefer set playability (Ewok village) as opposed to just displaying the larger sets (Orthanc); I suppose it'd also help if you preferred one of hte themes over the other, or the one that has more minifigures than the other, etc. Prices aside and just on a first impression, which set appeals to you more?
  15. Yeah, the movies are completely separate from any of the comic storylines; hence the name Marvel Cinematic Universe. I'm not a big comic book reader either so I'm not sure what Tanma is getting at.
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  17. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom were my two favourites; definitely visit them all if you have time (which you should be able to for 2 weeks).
  18. Galaxy Squad sets if you want more playability; otherwise, obviously Orthanc.
  19. DisneyWorld and the new LegoLand are definitely a must; there's also a Lego store in Downtown Disney if you're planning on going to the park.
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  21. The only thing I can think of is maybe a Smaug closeup on the head or something related to Lake-town and/or the Erebor region.
  22. Your wife will definitely not laugh at you or judge you on a hobby; there are plenty of married men and/or women in this world, and their spouses probably support them on this subject as well. If you're lucky, she'll end up getting into Lego as well and eventually thank you for it.
  23. Oh ok, now I see what you mean where the permissions TLG has to produce the Star Wars characters have to have them add in more pieces for the toys to be considered construction sets. Sorry I didn't understand that earlier. EDIT: Well you never know, the difference could be small enough it'd be hard to notice in the light.
  24. Don't worry, a couple people here have said that one of the employees said he would be featured in the sets, just in a different colour of shade than the SDCC exclusive.
  25. 1. Sorry for my Ninjago mistake, I didn't think of it. 2. Thanks for your condescension. 3. Have you actually seen one of these official comments before? Cause I'd actually like to know which project this was TLG were commenting on with this policy. No. No, it's not.
