World War Z last night; to be honest, it was a lot better than I thought. Not a lot of cheesiness, and there were a lot of good scary moments. The ending was a little too anticlimactic but overall I'd give it a 7/10.

I know it's not always good to go by critics' ratings, but right now the movie has a 24% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Might not be good for the franchise's future.

Usually when the movie-based sets are released I try to see how accurate the sets are in relation to the media. Eg. The IM3 wave was horribly inaccurate; Man of Steel was a little better in that regard.

Currently Reading: Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success - Phil Jackson and Hugh Delehanty. Next up: Inferno by Dan Brown if I get/borrow a copy of it. Favorite Books: LOTR, Foundation series, A Song of Ice and Fire, anything by Dan Brown and John Grisham. Favorite genre: Fantasy and/or sci-if; they're both pretty level. Recommended Authors: Isaac Asimov, GRRM, Tolkien. Recently I got the iBooks app for my phone and started putting on epub files; it's a lot more convenient than physical books albeit a little more tedious so I'm switching over to that. Newer books, though, I still borrow from the public library if I can't find them online.

I thought the 3rd was alright; set the tone for the future war between humans and Skynet. Terminator Salvation, though....gah.

I'll throwing for a date sometime in Sept-Oct when promotions for The Desolation of Smaug start to heat up; if we're lucky the sets will start to appear in early-mid December just like last year for An Unexpected Journey.

Had anyone outside of London seen 76003 at Walmart? Brickipedia says they've been out since May but I haven't found any. Might have to wait till next time I go to Toronto to get one.
