  1. Looks good LT, might need to deploy a council street sweeper soon the dust is showing Those street lights look a little modern to me and where does one throw their rubbish? Keep up the good work and whats this surprise you have us waiting for?
  2. I've been working on a few test sites (T road plate and I road plate) and I have to agree 32 x 32 is challenging but it's very doable. I've only built on the 6 x 32 studs which make the store rather small but still attractive. Might pull apart my sons city garage (7642) for it's base plates and give that test before I start one for the showdown. You dropping some hints there LT, Skys the limit hey.....!
  3. Sheshhh setting the bar pretty high there..... had to stop looking other wise I might end up plagiarizing some of the details. Looks good though. My problem is a lack of browns and tans. But I do think they go well with each other.
  4. Hope the vet bill wasn't too painful.... What is a normal baseplate? A road plate or green plate right? which is 32 x 32 would that mean 2x2 = 64 studs x 64 studs? and X Large plates are 42 x 42? I'm not to concerned as I've only got road plates and a few half size X large plates. But I think a rule is necessary. micro scale that would do my head in I like the idea of minifig scale..
  5. Like the drill press. And new additions. What about something hard for you? Co-ops sell feed for the farms right? Also poly pipe and fittings. Sorry just trying to delay your garage wars ;-)
  6. No I had to phone 3 different stores all had none. Price you pay for living in the sticks.
  7. Sadly no 4207 in my local Kmart which isn't that local anyway. Looks like it's just use what I've got. Good to hear the cats ok probably just ate some wild lego flowers!
  8. All looking good to me. Depending on how much interest there is maybe some categories? Vintage, current and future perhaps.....
  9. What a bargain. Well done. Sure looks like a great set how long are those posts? I've never really look at the set before tonight because of the price and being exclusive. Son's B'day coming up next month now how to convince the wife we need at least 2 sets.....
  10. Damn thought I might of tricked you into that one.. Closest Kmart to me is 3 hour round trip, might give them a call in the morning and check they have stock. Thanks for the tip! Many parts needed as always....!
  11. $15 ouch.. how many pumps are you going to have? I think I'll just raid my 7yo sons city collection...
  12. Simply stunning work Priovit70. So much to look at and go what is that...! Well done.
  13. Looks good and functional. One question, how do you get the seats to change design like that when the door is opened.....
  14. Sadly both have now gone.... I use to love playing 'spot the servo's first' on our trips up north to Qld in the 80's. Not that exciting up the highway these days. BP, BP, BP, BP......
  15. Ah yes those white walls are always a pain, has anyone tried liquid paper?
  16. Mobil, Golden Fleece, Esso, Ampol can't forget these oldies.....
  17. Something like this perhaps LT? It's from the 50's
  18. We can only hope his little 'flight of fancy' might turn into reality with all this talk of Servo's and now maybe a contest! One wonders what would happen if he put it on Cuusoo?
  19. I'd be up for it for sure! After seeing the 'possible' new 2013 Servo I've been trying out a few different styles myself.
  20. Sorry if it's been posted before but this site has some good pictures of the service truck http://www.coolthings.com/lego-technic-service-truck/ Cant wait for these to hit our Aussie shores, imagining they'll be double the US RRP when they do though!
  21. Got the same postcard howie and my kids were both very disappointing. Now they are really making us mad it's February and still no sign of the Magazine. Anyone know why they changed the dates?
  22. This crane sure is a nice set and many thanks to all those who have been posting photo's and videos. Looks like it's going to have a million parts which should come in very handy. I've told my son (7) we won't buy any lego this year and save our money and buy the new Mindstorm EV3. Now how do I tell him I prefer this crane and service truck instead?
  23. My trailer was a folder camper which was pretty light so the strength of connection didn't need to be to extreme. more pictures here http://macleannsw.com/handyman/lego/Discovery.htm I've done a few what we call in Australia 'Jockey Wheels', this was the strongest smallest version I've made thus far. Also another trailer hitch system I've used before. I can't open Alasdair's 'Trailer Legs' doc has anyone got a picture of it?
  24. Absolutely awesome Edwin. The details on the cabin are spot on. Must be getting heavy? seriously 4000 blue pins Can't wait to see the next lot of pic's.
  25. Hi, just wondering if any has received their (kids) Lego Club magazine yet? I was so disappointing it didn't come in December and now even more disappointed it's nearly February.....
