  1. Thanks Blue Brick I hope I do too. Nice Range Rover by the way.
  2. Wow that's a big difference in chrome. I can see why BL is the way to go, the quality looks perfect. Australian chrome pricing would be similar to Russia's and I doubt they would even be interested in doing them anyway. Thanks Bricksonwheels and that brings me to my next question about the extra layer of chrome and tight fits. Do the parts snap together as normal? or do you have to scratch out the extra layer before they go together? I'm assuming they would be prone to chipping and flaking if you scratched them though?
  3. Looks awesome either way to me. Well done! Pardon my ignorance but can you simply paint pieces with chrome spray paint or are they dipped or manufactured? I see you purchased yours though BL but I doubt anyone in Australia is chroming parts so I wondered if it can be done DIY style?
  4. Thanks for the welcome. Yes having a 7yo who loves his Lego does give me a great excuse to build MOCS and sets and also buy more sets. It's all good quality time together and he is starting to come up with his own ideas which is great. Agree with you on that one Spider-man. I'll have to come up with one I suppose. Looks like they have to be small though?
  5. Hi all, Been lurking here for a few months now and felt it was time to come out. My name is Brendan(35) and my son Brad(7) and we live in a small country town of Grafton NSW Australia. I remember playing with Lego for hours and even days as a young fella but then I guess I grew out of them and never really looked at them again until we purchased my sons first Lego city set (Police Command Centre 7743) at age 3 of course. The collection has grown quite steadily since then and Brad now has a large City collection. We also like the Creator series with a few of these on the shelves too. But now I've found Technic again and I'm loving them. Like many others we building up the A model have a play for a few weeks then the B models another play for a weeks then it stripped down for parts for our MOCS. My son is gaining lots of knowledge on how things work and connect which is really great I think for his education. Anyway enough from me, looking forward to asking lots of question and hopefully posting some pics of our MOCS. Cheers Aussie BJ
