  1. I used this one on my latest MOC. This worked ok for my requirements, but I'm guessing you'll need it to pivot up and down as well? Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
  2. Ryan this is truly awesome. I couldn't believe it was 4m looking at the first picture but then I checked your website. So wish I could go to Brickvention but sadly it's just to far away.
  3. Thanks for the review Sinner. I've been eyeing off this book for some time hoping it would just appear in a local book shop so I could pick it up flick through the pages turn it over half a dozen times then decide if it's worth it. But with your review I think I might just have to order one online. Being only a new (but old) technic builder I think this book is just right for me. Technic for teh win.
  4. Thanks Tadej. It's very far from being an accurate model. It's basically a 'Show' version of an Australian Ute with unusual features to capture the judges eyes. You can tell not many Europeans get this Ute due to the lack of comments. I guess it's an Australian thing!
  5. Thanks Kierna, I started this MOC at the grille which is probably why the scale isn't right. Supercharged hey would sounds sweeeet!
  6. Many thanks DLuders, I plan on posting the pictures on here in the next few days. Summer is on the way down here but you wouldn't know it at the moment. Rain, wind and coldish (15c degrees in the morning and about 25 during the day)
  7. Yeh there is a good contingent of Aussie's on here. You can usually tell by our English no worries, hey mate! Never bought off BL looked many times though. I've found the bigger sets when on sale are really good value for parts. Thanks jonwill, They sure are getting old and you don't see that many on our roads anymore..... Thanks Dr Spock, seems a lot of people like the suicide doors and I'm sure they would suit Batman just fine.
  8. Thanks maaaaate add those extra's then I can enter it in the Deni Ute Muster. Might need a few BIG CB aerials too. You nailed it Hopey. I got my inspiration from a show car Statesman. It was however a Panelvan which had the front end lifting the same as this MOC. Original plan was to build a panelvan but ran out of parts quickly. Agreed Alasdair but by the time I realised it was to square I was getting sick of the build so I just went with it.
  9. Hi All Ute or Utility Vehicles are very common here in Australia so I had a go at making one up. Hope you like! Runs 4 M motors via remote control for Suicide doors, Tray back and reverse lifting front end. Bonnet (hood) also opens but is HOG as is steering and propulsion. More pictures here
  10. Great MOC really like the scale. I took these pictures last weekend on the Gold Coast (Australia) and thought you might like. Would give you plenty of room!
  11. Really nice top job! Liked finding the microfigs too. Brendan
  12. Hi all, I was very excited heading for Myer Robina last weekend (3 hours away from home) with there 20% off lego and the release of the new technic sets. But my joy was short lived finding no stock of the 9398 Crawler set. As I walked out head and shoulders down I grab a catalogue and headed to Big W. They had 6 sets in stock but at full retail. I went to the CD counter where I asked if they price match and walla I'm the happy owner of a new Crawler. Problem is it's my xmas pressie and its now in the cupboard waiting for xmas morning. I think I'll be up before the kids this year! Brendan
  13. Thanks, I rarely come out of the Technic forum so I missed that event post. Yep I found your facebook page last night and gave it a big 'like' Brendan
  14. Thanks Brickie, Should be a great event looking forward to it. Will be coming from Northern NSW (Grafton) Brendan
  15. First time i've heard of BrisBricks awesome and thanks for sharing Xyzer. I'll be travelling up (with kids and wife) from Grafton NSW to see this can't wait.
  16. Number 45 supporter here. Well done on a great MOC. I really like the colour choice and tyres (Australian Spelling ) Would love to see it beside the 8070 Supercar B model. Again great MOC and good luck on Cuusoo! Brendan
  17. Very very nice, would like to see some photo's though
  18. Good news but still over inflated prices and I didn't think they hit our stores until the 28th of Sept. I'll wait for the Myer Xmas sale I think, they should have them close to the USA price. Brendan
  19. Gday Matt Welcome to EB. Hopefully we can help your attention span and you can finish your MOCs the way you want them. Where in NSW are you from? I'm in Maclean (near Grafton) Looking forward to seeing your technic creations. Brendan
  20. Yes sorry ebook is what I meant. I think your safe for now unless of course you MOC an iPhone then you'll be sued!
  21. Your welcome, it was an easy task because I had just made it and it was on the shelf. That scale is good and should work well with some of my 1:18 diecast cars. Brendan
  22. I Studied the video 3 or 4 times. Looked at all the photo's 3 or 4 times read the blurb 3 or 4 times and all I can say is WOWZA! I'm speechless. Looking forward to the book, is it going to be available as an ibook for iPad? Brendan
  23. Interesting topic, I was going to say 100% for the set/s but then I realised apart from my new sets (Thanks to fathers day here in Australia) I don't have any other sets made up. Most sets I have are being used for MOCs. And just the other day I was eyeing off a Ninjago set that had 4 good large wheels and tires. So now I'm leaning towards for parts! Brendan
  24. 41cm Long (with the rear lift mechanism in) 12cm Wide (plus mirrors) 16cm High (Up to roof lights) I'll let you workout what scale it is. Brendan
  25. Fantastic little MOC well done! So many details in a small package makes for a great little car. Brendan
