Which set. What am I missing here?
-
Ever thought that that might be a picture of the Morro Ninja? I mean, that head has never specifically been Lloyd's.
-
Didn't someone say something about the Morro Dragon having Glow-in-the-dark pieces? I'm loving these sets so far. Ronin R.E.X. looks far more eye-catching than it did in the preliminary stage. Notice that the Morro Ninja is wearing the tattered ninja mask we saw in the part leaks from... Japan was it? I'm surprised by how large this set looks! Badass Ronin is double wielding stud-blasters! Speaking of Ronin R.E.X. That's obviously Kai on the Arijitzu spinner, but who the heck is the Azure mask wearing fellow in Destiny's Bounty. It's definately not Jay! Could it be that Lar character from that activity book that's been making its way around the internet? We could use a Master of Water. Regarding Destiny's Bounty. That is Lloyd included in the set. But check out Sensei Wu's staff. It's the normal bo staff with a golden weed piece wrapping around a crystal. Really mysterious. I love how nearly every set includes a dragon! And looking at the little slimer ghosts, are they designed to work like the Clingers from Alien Conquest? EDIT: Look at that snazzy looking Shuriken piece Cole is holding in the Destiny's Bounty set! I hope that large Technic bar isn't permanently sticking out of the Bounty. That would be such a shame.

Jangbricks and BrickShow waste their money to import from Europe. They are impatient and are releasing footage of product that matters little to their target audience. At least until March that is. It's a tactic used so that they can be "the first" to review the set. Since when was being a YouTube user a competition? Anyway, the little glimpse of the Anti-Matter hideout looks fantastic so far, really just because of the Minifigs. Can't wait to see more over the next couple of days.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

The Elemental Master of Water featured in that book is named Lar. He has yet to be featured in the TV show. I have a feeling that he was cut, or was specifically designed just for this activity book that has been making the rounds. Interesting note. Some official images of the summer sets have surfaced from early access to the Nuremburg Toy Fair... There is a Ninja with an Azure colored mask. Jay is featured in another image and looks nothing like this character.- 4,591 replies

And now the App-Bricks make total sense. Purchases incentives!

Apparently so. It also includes locations from the show! Four heads, each matching the location and design of the four heads of the Ultra Dragon. That tail is the same. The green translucent pieces on the wings are the same as well.

Lego Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin (Video game discussion)

From Amazon: The game will be $29.99 upon release. Pre-orders are live on Amazon. It comes out June 30th, 2015 -
It's the Ultra Dragon (it's been to long old friend )
-
He's from an activity book someone on YouTube found. That's most likely Spinjago Village (again, from the Shadow of Ronin description). In the show, the villages seem to be located on high peaks (Jamonacai Village for example). However, that doesn't mean that the Temple isn't part of the village. I'd love it if the Temple was in that color, however, I have the feeling that it will be the same colors of the ghosts... Just a thought, really. All I want is a large temple sets with fantastic parts, and an unhealthy load of sweet looking minifigs!

Do you remember how the description for Shadow of Ronin said something about Obsidian Weapons? I really hope that those sais and that version of the sword of fire get molded like that for the Summer Wave.
-
I'm loving those sets so much. I just don't want to spread the word of my assumptions and opinions until we have pictures of the sets "in the brick." I cannot wait for this Wednesday!

Well, there's something else to consider here. Clouse seems unbelievably traitorous. Sarcastic on some occasions as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he has his own agenda. Something involving the Morro, maybe?- 4,591 replies

These look so amazing. There's just so much to say here!... But I'm still going to wait until we get Toy Fair pictures. I just can't take away stuff from the preliminaries anymore without feeling disappointed in the end. It looks like this is getting the two theme wave treatment. I'm just curious what Lego is going to do for Winter 2016. We know that the Ninjago movie doesn't come out until later in the year, so why would they release the sets without any context unless it was closer to the movie's release? I know! Isn't it great!

I only mean that the Ninja could still use their Spinjitzu even when they didn't have their elemental powers. I'm sorry, if "elemental" isn't the proper term, but look at the tornadoes. The Ninja Spinjitzu still had elemental motifs when they didn't have their "elemental powers." How is that not elemental power? It makes sense that Garmadon states that Elemental Power is in their blood, even if the ability to manipulate said element isn't present. Think of it like Avatar: The Last Airbender. Aang has many abilities and powers that can be unlocked. Chackras, pressure points and Blood-bending can take those powers away, but does that stop him from being an Airbender? Something that can be granted back to him at any time? That's probably why I'm failing to understand this whole plot-hole with Garmadon talking about elemental powers being passed down (whether he directly said that or not). Just because elemental properties are passed down genetically doesn't mean that they actually require permanent access to elemental manipulation- 4,591 replies

That's because new Lego sets normally do not stay on shelves within the first three weeks of release. My local Lego Store ran out of nearly every new Chima set on the day that they released due to a combination of children having Christmas money, and the fact that they were brand new! Now, three weeks after their release, they've received more stock, waiting on shelves for parents to buy them on impulse. I also would like to point out that Mattel doesn't own Lego. They are their own company. (You aren't the only one to make that mistake. ) I think sales for Chima might be different in your region... Ninjago can be found at some stores in the US, but Chima can be found pretty much anywhere Lego provides stock.

Does "You have the fire inside." ring a bell? Sensei Wu said that to Kai even before he learned Spinjitzu, not to mention that, even after their elemental powers were gone, the Ninja were seen using elemental Spinjitzu. Technically they always have elemental properties due to genealogy, but the actual ability to manipulate the elements is something that can, and has been given and taken away from the Ninja multiple times.- 4,591 replies

I have re-read this holy post five times now. I cry every time... This cannot be more true in the US. The local Lego Store is no longer carrying, Vardy's Ice Vulture Glider, Eris' Fire Eagle Flyer, and Laval's Fire Lion, simply because they don't sell. Anywhere. Literally every store I go to has a surplus of these sets specifically.

Seeing all of the wonderful videos of Majora's Mask 3D is making me misty eyed. It is just too beautiful for words. Hoping to buy a *New* 3DS day one (please, Nintendo, fire every member of your marketing staff. They deserve spankings for how juvenile their "work" has been). I'm am now slightly interested in Codename S.T.E.A.M. with all of the extra goodies it comes with. I wish Nintendo would spread more Amiibo love to America. The Marth, Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager Amiibo have never felt so impossible to find. Don't get me started on the Pit Amiibo that I seriously can't live without. I missed tonight's pre-orders on the Pit Amiibo's second release at Gamestop, and I'm not a very happy camper at all right now. February 1st is going to be hell if Nintendo doesn't over stock Best Buy and Target. I missed Rosalina and Meta Knight. I have not regretted a pre-order choice ever before. There's always a first, and a second for that matter. Now that I think about it, I should probably pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles 3D while I'm at it... Can't wait for the 29th when Metroid Prime Trilogy will be $10 on the Wii U e-shop!

Lego reveals their entire Summer line-up to retailers at London Toy Fair. Therefore, technically, Lego did make a reveal When was the date of that tweet? If it was recent, there is a chance that Lego officially scrapped it. Most Lego-created licenses last between 1 to 2 years, unless that series is backed by a large piece of media (a TV show). Chima is finishing it's three year run with two waves each year since 2013. This is what they planned. This was also implied in the TV series. I forget if it was Brickset or Brick Fanatics, but one of them said that, they were told at the London Toy Fair, that after 2015, Chima will end. Indeed, Chima's sets have been having issues of reaching the scale of Ninjago's success, however, they still didn't do bad. It still sold enough to be compared to the average Lego "in-house" theme, like the original Agents series, or Pharaoh's Quest.
-
I think that it is interesting that Brick Fanatics claims that Ghosts are the new villains for Ninjago, yet Brickset says that there were no minifigures on display for any of the themes. ...or am I missing something? Another thing that was mentioned about the new Destiny's Bounty is that it has a fully furnished cabin in the back! I'm so stoked for pictures! Fun tidbit for those of you that are new to the Toy Fair excitement. London Toy Fair is typically littered with preliminary molds. Nurenburg is notorious for giving us video coverage as well as several finalized designs. New York typically will show off the final, if not close, designs of sets. NYTF also gets the most coverage, so expect pictures galore!!

Morro was apparently a mistranslation of ghost. It's a shame that the Tournament of Elements theme is over. Well maybe, who knows, the ghosts might tie in in some sort of way. Anyway, I'm not going to judge anything given by word of mouth just yet. I need some pictures before I can make any solid remarks. Airjitzu sounds fantastic though.

With the announcements of ghost villain, I really wonder how the series will be handled. Will the TV series just flow into the ghost story, or will we really have a multi-season year like Chima did?- 4,591 replies
