Settlement: Fatu Hiva, Île d'Or
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Capn Frank's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/163448-era-ii-challenge-ii-cat-a-fish-trading-post-on-île-dor/ A fish trading post. -
A group of Eslandolean mercenaries has arrived on Île d'Or. A bit tired of their journey, but curious about what they will find out. And attracted by the smell of smoked salmon. They are visiting the islanders who are running a fish trading post at the seashore ("Sam's Salmons"). The chief "Rum'Or" is known to be knowledgable about things going on on the island. The fish is usually fresh... ... the chief Rum'Or is the deal maker... ... crabs can be bought too ... .. and they got a totem for marketing purposes. This is what it looks like before our heroes have arrived: I forgot to introduce the mercenaries, who are busily hacking their way through the undergrowth: Swash Buckler. A well-known Pontellian sabre-fighter with an Errol Flynn-like smile (if you know that I mean). Scarlett Pontellinova Also known as the black widow of Pontelli. Ram Brandt He used to sit as a model for Pontellian painters in his spare time. .. and last but not least: Clara Brickinson, sister to Colonel Brickinson. And what did they find out about the terror going on in the jungle? Stay tuned!

[COR WTC] The Paradise Isles Cup
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice build, keep it up! As to football: I think everything after the confed cup was "poor". We just hoped that they would miraculously return to form once the tournament started... -

Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I agree Yepp, thanks All is well that ends well. The roof needs a bit more of stability, to bed honest. It was not a choice - the monkey had.told him to do so. ? -
[TSotEP] 15 - The Grand Finale (2/2)

This positive feedback is encouraging. Let's see where the next story could take us. Maybe something with blue coats could be interesting -
[TSotEP] 16 - Epilogue
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Definitely. Every Thursday you get frikandels!. Thank you. Actually, Captain Blofeld is from Corrington. Most protagonists of the story are from Corrington. One is a sea rat, of course. -
(Previous storyline of The Secret of the Eight Provinces ended here) Epilogue: After the adventures around the Secret of the Eight Provinces Captain Blofeld has opened a gourmet restaurant close to where the ship had sunk and the treasure had been found. He is enjoying customers from all over the known world. Most of the meals are served in Oleon style (the chef is from Breshaun). The wines are also of highest quality. Families enjoy to get there and have a nice meal while the children are playing with the remains of the "Eight Provinces". Captain Blofeld is a happy man indeed. [I think I have introduced a new variation of those nice roofs.)

Fine house, nice shutters too. Yet, I am not quite convinced about the colour of the roofs (form is fine). Maybe in darker colours?- 10 replies

[TSotEP] 15 - The Grand Finale (2/2)
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I need to check that. I was told that monkeys get world dominion +14 and banana taste improvement +20... Yes, of course seriously! You had hoped this storyline would stay free of monkeys? No way! -

Thanks, I had hoped so. -
Discussions were starting in Pontelli, that something should be done to remind everyone what Brickinson had (by chance) done for the city. There was a debate between the Mayor (Smiling Sally), Toktawoo and Attorney Jon van Dyke: Sally: We should be doing something as a sign of recognition for Colonel Brickinson. Toktawoo: I agree. He has saved our city. van Dyke: Yes, we need to do something. But not that big. Sally: Something modest? Toktawoo: Maybe a small statue? van Dyke: Yes, but modest. With respect to our finances. Sally: I agree. A statue. On the very spot where it happened and Asma fell to her death. Toktawoo: I agree. Sally: Ok, a modest tiny statue. Let's do that. And so it was that the "Brickinson Statue" was built on the Cliffs of Pontelli. A favourite place for visitors and children - permanently guarded by Pontellian elite soldiers. (Have a nice weekend!)

[TSotEP] 15 - The Grand Finale (2/2)
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks What they need the bananarite for?`Well, that might be another storyline! Thanks for the inspiration. For a long time I knew that the story had to end with a clash of all parties - but then suddenly the monkeys came into play and then the story seemed to work out ok. -
[TSotEP] 15 - The Grand Finale (2/2)
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
BTW the monkeys have, of course, been hiding in the sand of the beach. And Bananarite has its origins in a comment by Captain Dee. Thank you, Professor! Yepp, MiB = Monkey in Black Thanks. Yes, some more adventures of Captain Cookie are likely to come. There was an earlier storyline of mine featuring monkey activities: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/141164-final-chapter-brickinson/ (the final chapter contains the links to all previous episodes) I love to hear that! Thanks. I guess some events in Pontelli are on my list... -
Impressive. It seems now there is nothing you could not do with LDD.
