  1. Inspired by Hot Wheels prehaps? Looks nice but the roof looks unfinished compared to the rest. How is the gearbox controlled?
  2. Well I don't own these, but the blue one has some not-so-common gears in it. Some nice three-way thin liftarms as well. Don't really care for the models themselves. Even the electronics are kinda useless.
  3. Angling the magnet won't angle the repulsive force in a way you might think. Magnets can't do free work for you. In order for it to push you must first increase the potential energy by pushing an object into the field against it. Think of it like gravity. A rollercoaster won't accelerate down a hill unless you first push it up there.
  4. Tractor, Trailer and Combine Harvester This is my entry, a tractor with a trailer and a combine harvester. Tractor - steering in the front - 3 piston inline engine - opening hood Trailer - turning front axle - lifting skipper - locking "rear board" Harvester - steering on the back - rotating cutter driven by the front wheels - clutch to toggle rotation - lifting cutter head - adjustable cut height ( lifts only the cutter but not the scoop) Enough words, here be some imagery: How do I post an embedded YouTube video?
  5. I like the colors on that truck. Good job!
  6. Yep. Thankfully the upcoming snowmobile has some new mid-scale suspension elements They might be too long for this scale though
  7. The turning radius. It will be bad, like really bad. These hubs are kinda badly designed in my opinion, the ball socket in them is too "deep" and causes very limted movement. The ball-pin has this sort of disk between the ball and the axle that hits the edge of the hub. I've tried using them like you've drawn, trust me it is dissapointing.
  8. Sadly the steering hub barely moves when ball-pins are used. Even less than with the matching suspension arms.
  9. Oh well. I thought I read all the new ones. :)
  10. I think someone might have some of the new parts :P Check out the front suspension arms
  11. I'm guessing steam roller as the last model. Nice work so far. Looks like a lot of people utilized the rule that treads don't count.
  12. I think it's just cracked. Thin liftarms do that easily if torque is applied to the axle hole.
  13. Light gray would work well
  14. It does look so much more better. I like the angled connectros for the frame. Maybe make them not black so they stand out a bit more?
  15. I don't see anyhing keeping the planetary assembly from falling out.
  16. Of course it is. But still it's tedious to do when the system is large.
  17. I think it won't fit inside the rim. Look at the picture of the bottom. See how close the rim is to the hub? The bushings are actually inside the hole of the rim.
  18. You might need to rotate some axles so that the teeth of the gears don't overlap. In yor picture the hubs for example have both axles at a right angle. The teeth wouldn't mesh and LDD refuses to place the part. It's quite annoying.
  19. Thanks! My problem seems to be that I'm not following sets outside of technic much... Quite often those rare off-color technic parts come from the weirdest sets. Too bad teal( or dark azure, whatever) isn't in fashion in technic anymore.
  20. Which set does the blue(teal?) steering wheel appear? I've never seen it before.
  21. I know, hence "if you haven't seen the images yet". I didn't remember if anyone actually linked them though. Here's the link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535900
  22. Just a heads up, if you havn't seen the images yet. Brickshelf user Leiutaja12 has the preliminary pictures uploaded (at least when this was written) I'm not linking the pictures here as I'm not sure on the policy.
  23. Especially ones that can't be just signed away when they should. All those poor parts that never get loved
