  1. Green Arrow looks awesome. The colouring is great and I like how his bow and foot stick outside the box.
  2. The pub looks good so far! I'm looking forward to see the finished product. PS. Did a bricklink order this morning, so I should be able to have a go at that cement mixer soon.
  3. Love the table cloth and the high tea stand! I noticed that too, and wondered whether he stole this or was given this. He has me intrigued.

i like the all yellow one better, but the grill is nicer on the white one.
  5. This looks great now! The more streamlined holds on both the spiderweb and the other minifig makes a huge difference. Well done and good luck in the contest.
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks! I can easily see how the Fire Brigade can pull someone out of their dark age.
  7. In no particular order: 10225 - R2-D2 10224 - Town Hall 4202 - Mining Truck 4434 - Dump Truck 9498 - Saesee Tiin Jedi Starfighter
  8. Introducing "Wannabe". Using the skills acquired during Ninja month, Emma has become a handbag admirer by day and vigilante at night. She seeks out evil-doers and delivers swift justice. Emma is now ready to move up to the next level - Superhero status. She just needs to find the right outfit. Hopefully, I can can up with a better name before voting commences. Suggestions welcome, else it will may have to be "Emmanator".
  9. Here's my entry: Those who have been good get a present. Those who've been bad get a taste of Darth Vader's light saber.
  10. Welcome! You've definitely come to the right place; there are a lot of amazing and inspiring builders in the Eurobricks community.
  11. Welcome to Eurobricks. Looking forward to seeing your town and modular MOCs!
  12. I'm thinking the same thing, as I have noticed that badboytje88 never referred to it as a werewolf and then the explicit reference to "the beast". Still can't find that clue he mentioned, though. I might need to read up on my fairytales.
  13. These pandas are gorgeous!
  14. This is beautiful and looks so much like the real thing. Your wife is a lucky girl! The spire looks pretty good as it is. As an alternative, could you start it from a 6x6 base? Then you would be able to have two rows of the 75 degree roof tiles and may be able to do away with the 1x10 plates. You could then also use 1x2 plates with door rails to create a little overhang at the base of the spire.
  15. This is great. My daughter would go nuts over this!
  16. Thanks, SwissBrick. The link you posted is not the right building, but interestingly, that one is currently on my list of buildings to try. The one the psychiatrist's office is based on is a different one, just down the road. If you scroll down on the page you have linked to, there are a couple of other buildings shown under the heading: "You might also like". The middle one is the inspiration for the psychiatrist office. I walk past this building and also look up and admire it everyday on my way to work . The original version of my MOC had 2-brick high arches for all of the windows, but it looked out of proportion in LEGO. I would still like to try the arched version, but might need to consider 1 brick high arches instead of 2 brick high arches. I'll give the CUSOO option some more consideration. If I do submit this MOC, it will be with a bike in place of the tree.
  17. VOTE: 1 by carlq Edit: darn autocorrect!
  18. Thanks for the excellent review, mostlytechnic. I now want this set more than ever!
  19. Thanks! Glad you liked it. I'm not. Thanks, Ricecracker.
  20. They certainly do. The finished ship is just stunning. I am amazed at all the details you have packed into it.
  21. OK, I admit it ... I grabbed the lxf file. But only for the tractor. Seriously, though, this is a great MOC. The tractor looks very rustic, like the old one my dad used to have. I also like the heated towel rack in the bathroom.
  22. The set looks amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing your entry. I'm also impressed that you have built your rigging for the lighting and the camera mounting in LEGO!
  23. These are fantastic. Supergirl is my favourite - she looks so sweet and the cat is just too cute. Is Wonder Woman on the list of characters to do?
  24. Would love to! I spend three weeks in Canada in 2008, covering Vancouver, the Rockies, Toronto and Montreal. The best holiday I ever had. Canada was just beautiful. This was part of a bigger USA and Canada trip that also included a week in New York and a couple of nights in Seattle. This was before I came out of my dark age, so I probably walked past a number of LEGO stores and didn't even realise. More interested in buying clothes and shoes at that time! Canada may be part of the Commonwealth, but there are a couple of major obstacles - a big ditch of water and a lack of funds!
  25. These building are gorgeous. There is so much to like about them. The shop fronts are beautifully done, particularly the one for the florist - it looks very classy. I also like the white trims on the windows, they seem simple, but give excellent depth to the windows. The interiors are just as beautiful. I love the glass-topped coffee table and the how you have done the double white bed. The lamps hanging from the ceiling are also a great feature.
