  1. oh my what a typo to make
  2. fantastic news, well done from a fellow IT guy.
  3. I think if you ask an admin they can change the title for you
  4. Amazing, just looks incredible, nice find and thanks for sharing
  5. I got about 70% of this set in a job lot I bought a few months ago, since then i sold on most of the bits like the code pilot its self, looks like I may have made a mistake, looks good and fun to set-up and play with, a but like half way between the control centre of old and the first Robot inverter sets. Nice review
  6. or the battery box is quite hard to switch off without pressing the button for the other direction, juts for a millisecond, this may be enough to produce the breaking effect? Really nice lift, how is the lift attached to the chain links? love the smoothness of the whole system looks great in red and black as well
  7. would like to see a picture of that, what a good idea for an unusual piece of furniture.
  8. If we get a v3.0 and it supports bluetooth 4.0 my understanding is we may be able to connect the latest crop of IOS devices, not 100% but I think we would
  9. so you need one of these 6637 and some of these x165 8 is the max to see it in action search around for set number 8480
  10. Its a right pain, but one we will have to live with for some time I fear. this looks to be a nice workaround though
  11. I think fake is a normal term in this instance, I have wondered about the term before as well but it just one of those that has entered normal use and most people know what it means. The engine looks enormous for the size of car, in real life i could see this being quite a quick vehicle, nice work looking forward to more
  12. That's just begging to have extra auto features added like lowing the wings via remote control, and possibly adding the 9V fibre options to the rockers like in the space shuttle of old, nice work looks great
  13. good news I think, will look even better with a more genital slope to the ramp, I guess this is the reason you need to extend?
  14. Hey, nice work would like to know how this works in practice with the loco bouncing around for a hour or two, let us know after christmas
  15. thanks for the offer, the only bits i am missing is the old style train track, I have plenty of the 9V style but not the separate rails and it looks like i will need a fair few. Do you also need the connector plates or do the old rails snap onto regular plates
  16. I keep watching this and know the kids would love something similar. I may have to look at building one over the Christmas break, looks a lot of fun, I know they would love a crash as well
  17. Lego service is your best bet, in the past when I have had parts break they always replace them, i would look up the number for the country you live in and give them a call
  18. Mental, what was that ever used for. very odd design and i agree building from LEGO bricks would be a challenge
  19. Nice work, defiantly makes me think of a Christmas slay.
  20. Had the plastic gone brittle at all? was the piece left laying on the surface or was it berried in the earth/under a plant pot type of situation
  21. I like this, looks like the arm has a lot of freedom, nice one
  22. I guess what I was asking is does the wheel break apart by its self over time, the structure is very light weight, which looks amazing, but does this mean that connections come apart if left running for several hours?
  23. That's a good test, what would be great is if you could record the experiment, say a photo a week from now till then. This could then serve as a guide for any one else thinking of this type of layout
