    My idea worked well, but in most situations, you loose traction at the tires before the limited slip starts to act.

    This is a lot like 42028 last year, where we didn't get much information until much later. All the hype last year was about the Volvo and the Pickup truck, so it took some time for information to spread about 42028 after the fairs. I suspect it will be some time before some good information about 42040 will be available.

    I'm not convinced it's a new turntable. I would welcome it, but I don't see enough that shows me it is.

    I like this set a lot. I love the blue, the size is impressive, and it's something newish. I agree with the assessment of the four driving rings. That's a great feature, and improve the play-ability. It seems like TLG is finally hearing our thoughts about colors in sets.

    I am impressed with all three. The crane looks great. The pneumatics are awesome as is the new boom piece. And the plane looks fun. It also looks like there is suspension on the rear axles of the truck.

    Last night I completed the ATS. Finally. Pictures and full publishing will be done soon, but until then I had to tell someone. It's been a long time coming.

    I haven't seen the pictures as they are still not public. There are times I need movement rather than strength as bracing is being done by something else. So a pneumatic with a width of 1 and a length of 11 would be valuable to me.

    Finally some content. I am excited about the 1/11 Pneumatic cylinder. That should be a helpful part for situations where space is at a premium. I am also interested in this boom piece.

    A longer LA would be cool. A longer Pneumatic will also be cool.

    Thanks all. Yep, a number of Madoca's builds were on the short list, but the 813 was the one I liked the best. The Corvette was pretty awesome, just not quite to my fancy as much as other builds. On to 2015.

    To celebrate my ten year anniversary of exiting the Dark Ages, I created a MOD to the set that brought me back, 8386. Same bodywork, but I added suspension, 4 speed gearbox, and added a little more white. Much more at thirdwigg.com. Enjoy.

    I don't mind the current wheels. But yeah, a stud of offset would be great.

    Adding 4x4 to a 2x4 is one of my favorite modifications. I'll keep the 2x4 to save some cost.
