That dome is fantastic! And that's a lot of ball joints too! -
Very nice landscaping Garmadon, also good work on the vehicle! Great job including an interior!

Spotlight! This was quite a fun build! I love understuds! Also (unlike virtually every other scene I've ever built) pretty fun to photograph! And trust me, you don't want a shot of the outside. Comments and criticism welcome as always! Thanks for checking her out! In case it wasn't obvious, this is for the Spaceship mastery technology.

Location: E03 Tags: Land Vehicle, Vehicle, Exploration, Civil, Building Well, guess I'd better get to studying this Domination book... maybe they'll stop ribbing me about it... 10 seconds later I think, zzzzz, ugh, yeah, I probably shouldn't have, yeeeaooow, stayed up so late yesterday, zzzzzzzz *snore* 4 hours later Rrrrr, ayah! Grrr... *wakes up* whew! That was quite a napmare! Pink landscapes! So much pink! Glare everywhere... It's a good thing there's no chance of that happening anytime soon. Well, guess I'd better hit the road. I'm supposed to be at E03 soon, I think! 15 minutes later And here we are, incoming! Ooh, looks like I get a nifty new vehicle! Ready to hit the rocks! Oh no. You've got to be kidding me! I don't remember this from the planet description! Don't tell me it wasn't until page 302 of the Domination book. There's no way I'll ever get that far. So much pink! Credit to Dannylonglegs for the pink rocks idea! Also tried out a new colored background here, I think it turned out pretty well! Had a good deal of trouble with the vehicle... but as they say, practice makes progress. C&C are appreciated!

Very nice interior scene! Maybe I shouldn't be saying this, but I do like the Kawashita colors!

Neat little build, great use of those round tiles with holes, and also of the red leaves!

Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Kai NRG replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Task 2 is an Avalonian thing. Nocturnians generally don't worry about "tasks," unless they involve pumpkin pie or some other kind of food. -
Thanks! There's an idea! I am kind of wondering who would want to fish it out of the lava though...

Great job Adair, especially with the broken arch! The minifigure posing is well done too!

[Ch. IV, Cat. B] Sir A. Liddel Studd's Story
Kai NRG replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thank you! Yes, I did have Studd planned from practically the beginning although I didn't have the story arc idea until I wrote the dispatch and I didn't actually finalize that until long after Category C ended! While it went on though, I just sort of randomly threw him in builds where either I needed as many figs as possible or I though the build was really good. I was almost positive he was in my Inn build (which I think was one of my best all challenge!) but he must have fallen out during transportation or something! I'll admit that several times I rather regretted my hasty reference to a brother in the dispatch. It took a good deal of brainstorming to get them back together! -
Thanks! Thank you Full Plate! Thanks! Yes, I'm afraid so... or maybe it's a glimpse of the far, far future...

I'm sorry, that's top secret Octan gadget information you're asking for! Can't be supplied to a MANTIS agent! Thank you!

Thanks ME! I also think that this is one of my best castle builds so far - I guess I should try some more ruins in the future!

[Ch. IV, Cat. B] Sir A. Liddel Studd's Story

Thanks Balbo! Generally when I do a series of vigs I try to make the bases in different styles! Thanks! Mirrors are awesome! again! Thank you! -
Really nice micro, I'm going to have to try one of these out sometime soon! I especially like the dome sections below, it's got a great MANTIS feel to it too!

Great job on these builds, especially the door one! The tilted plates are a great way to introduce some variety into the door frame! I'd suggest though that in the future you try to eliminate the gaps where the white paper can be seen behind the build - usually not a difficult task, just add a black wall behind!

Very nice work with the cracks in the ground shmails, and the pink flowers make for a really neat touch as well! I do think (what with all the critique of the lack of critique recently I feel it's appropriate to voice this ) that the contrast between the SNOT and not-SNOT landscape is a bit to stark. We go from perfectly smooth to incredibly bumpy. On the second and fourth pictures that's not so eye-grabbing, but especially on the first one it stands out a little too much. Anyway, as I said before, the cracks in the ground are great! And I hadn't realized that the planet was named for Bob until it was mentioned either!

The irony is that IRL I spend hours a day reading. That shot of yours gives me a great idea...

Beautiful work Legonardo, gotta love that roof, and the stonework is practically flawless! Also really like the use of blue, somehow it merges right in and looks totally natural! Really nice telescope as well!

Nice work with the misty feel, also great job shaping the boat! +1 UoP credit!

I just have better things to do! This is going to have to carry over to my build though.

gedren's answers are great but I just wanted to add that freebuilds should earn your guild points too - though the amount is nothing spectacular, I've been told.

 This is fantastic! Absolutely beautiful set of buildings, and so many great details... my wallet is not gonna be happy...
