    Ivan, this crashtender looks really good and is really huge. I am building the tractor truck right now and maybe use your system for the flashing lights in my truck, for the Orange warning lights on the roof.

    Jockos, for the tan part for the 8043, book 1 page 36, and I think there is another used in a revision but I am not sure about that, I have to see the original books.

    I built it this morning and indeed it is great fun to drive. Our cats weren't impressed by it.

    Maybe you can soften the rubber by soaking the tyres in hot water

    Make sure that the remote is pointing to the receivers and the truck is not in bright sunlight.

    I had a similair problem using multiple IR receivers and it was caused because not every receiver got the signal from the remote

    I bought a 8480 a few months ago, i it didn't work as well because of bad elastic bands. I took it completely apart and rebuilt it but now even less works, not sure why, have to find out.

    According to rebrickable I'm at 97.8% of the parts, and that are just parts out of my sets. I know I'm missing 3 XL motors, not sure how many parts I'm missing exactly because I want to built the truck in a different color.

    I have seen similar connections with only square 2x2 plates. But have not tried it myself because I have 6 brackets.

    If I am ccorrect the older F1 sets have race trucks as a B model so some designers like race trucks

    How about 8256 go-kart and lawnmower. Well,thinking of lawnmowerracing it is not so strange at all. The 9393 and 8048 are about the same as 8284 tractor and buggy. 8045 telehandler and motorbike with sidecar.
