Thanks a bunch! Man, you wouldn't believe how long I've been looking for this, thanks!

Hiya! It's been a while since I was last here and I wanted to ask if anyone has seen or heard of this piece before. It's used in the sholdier joint in this mecha, and it looks really useful. From what I've seen, it's like a t-shaped piece. Anyhoo, if anyone could identify it, that would be fantastic! Here's the link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1706240

Thanks for clearing things up, TT. For a second there, I thought I was the target and was subsequently going to *explode* on some poor soul. Good thing I kept my steady state of mind! :)

Perhaps they just think the Nicktoon sets will fail like a monkey in Europe. I mean Nick isn't that big over there, is it? Because I know Avatar and Spongebob are knocking the socks off everyone here in Canada.

Looks fantastic! Man, those bad guys are really growing that facial hair. Bet we'll have a full blown sasquatch by the time Knights Kingdom 4 rolls around. :D Anyhoo, division into sections is just fine. I mean check out all the other reviews in the mech section! ALL DIVIDED. Just check out my Stealth Hunter review for proof. :) http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...?showtopic=3201

Check it out! It's been updates with a super focus on Soccer/Football! It's looking good! http://www.lego.com/eng/sports/default.aspx

Speaking of which, the minifig faces are *dead* on. I mean in terms of accuracy, you can't get much closer to the TV show. However, I'm still lamenting the fact that they're not using samurai armour. I was really looking forward to it but we get repainted knights armour instead. Not a total loss for others, but it is for me.

Toyfair coverage strains those sites ALOT. I mean today is the first full day and crazy toy fans are running around like little children. But seriously, who isn't? These sets look awesome! And I can say on behalf of other toy fans that the toys (not just Lego) are INCREDIBLE this year!
-
Well, just wanted to give you all a heads up that the Toyfair coverage over at ASM has begin. Once again, they provide super pictures of what we want! Currently, they're got a gallery up for LEGO so check it out! http://toyfair06.asmzine.com/lego/ Oh and Avatar looks simply AMAZING. But did we really expect anything less? LEGO makes anything look good. :-D EDIT: I have officially made the largest buffonery of myself since the day I was born. This topic shouldn't really be alive. This isbecause: -I found higher-res pictures here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=168082 -There's another topic to do with this. Oy, I feel like an idiot. I got pwned by my own excitement. Sorry!

I thought it would be at the same time as Spongebob, as it's another one of the Nick series. THis said, I have not the slightest clue because we haven't even seen promotional posters at this point. We already have a Batman comic and teaser poster, but not a word on Avatar. Anyways, there's a total of 20 episodes in the first season. As for series, there are speculated to be 3, one for each existing nation. The second season is said to come out in march, so things are REALLY looking up! If yopu want, youtube has pretty decent versions of the episodes 15-20, but recording is good too. Another essential episode is number 12. It really explains what's the deal with Zuko. Very good episode. :) Heh, another note, are we allowed to mention youtube? It's not really a downloading thing, and I saw a link to a japanese Spider-man show on youtube so I thought it would be ok to mention it.
-
Dude, keep watching! The series gets better and better as they go along! Especially the last 5 or so episodes. Also, the Siege of the North saga was simply breathtaking. It just blows away any finale that you've EVER seen.
-
Good to hear! But honestly, I kinda saw it coming. Hasbro also did the same thing, except their license ends in 2012 (I think). This is truly fantastic news, but it was almost inevitable. Now that they got things nailed down, who wants a Clone Wars series? :)
-
Meh, doesn't hurt to speculate a bit. Besides, I was just merely pointing out the potential that Avatar has over Spongebob, despite the age difference between the two. Although I do love the main lines alot, I wouldn't mind seeing more Avatar sets. As someone else said, it's a blessing to Castle and Ninja fans. There's just so much that's right with this line that I find it hard to even think of a way that it's bad. Sure, I'm younger, but there's something about it, though I can't put my finger on it right now.
-
Wow. Just wow. Words fail me. I mean this set would be awesome for pieces, but for anything else? Nope. Wow. Are those ROLLERBLADES on his feet? Yow. I think I just sprained a brain muscle.

I kinda find the asianess of Lego very nice. I mean I'm chinese myself and I'm really liking how Lego is going for the world now, rather than just euro and north american-related themes. Anyhoo, I disagree with you, snefroe. Nick toons are notorious to hold a constant fan following for a very VERY long period of time. And unlike Cartoon Network and Disney Channel, they don't try to kill off their cartoons. They try to promote each and every one. Especially with Avatar. Over here in North America, it's EXTREMELY well recieved. Though not like Pokemon in it's gold ages, it's still phenominal. To me, Spongebob and Avatar are like sleeper agents. They don't have a huge boom period, but rather, a long outstretched period of general proficincy. In terms of sets, I also have to disagree there too. Spongebob mostly has adventures in the sets that were already made. Unless you count the movie, there isn't really much you can do. I mean even the CITY has less screen time than the Jellyfish fields. And how many sets could you make from a single jellyfish field? Five at the very most. Avatar on the other hand has WONDERFUL potential for sets. Every episode, they encounter a new land mark and all those temples are simply breathtaking. I mean don't even get me started with the Fire Nation town, or the Northern Air bender temple and don't even THINK of mentioning the Northern Water tribe. You could literally go for miles with Avatar alone. Anyhoo, that's another too cents from your friendly neighbourhood Avatar freakazoid!
-
Nah, I'm pretty sure that's an anchor. Don't cleats usually appear on the railing of a ship? So that people can actually reach it? The fire nation soldiers aren't notorious for flying, you know. Anyhoo, I'm sure both Star Wars and Nick lines will get along nicely. Besides, with all these sets, there's only one thing that's going to happen. That's right, more complex MOCs!
-
Oh man, these rock so hard. After last week when the pics from toywiz showed up, I caught the Avatar craze. After watching all the episodes, this really puts my Avatar obsession far over limits. Anyhoo, the sets. At first, I thought the ship would simply be just a collection of plate-like pieces, but now? They look stunning. I also love the look of the figures, especially the newly repainted/redeccoed armoured pieces. In terms of accuracy to the show, this is so close, you can smell it. The Air temple, though alot smaller than supposed to, looks stunning. I also really like the figures and the way they did the face, though it's a bloody shame that they didn't make a new hair piece and left Sokka and Zuko bald. Meh, looks great nonetheless!

Meh, no clue. To be honest, I don't really find this so mindblowing. It's bound to happen, you know. It happens with Transformers all the time! Well, maybe not all the time, but you get the point. As for removing the Eurobricks pictures, well, EU doesn't own Brickshelf, adn there's no big tie anywhere. We're a community of happy go lucky Eurobrickers, they're a bunch of happy go-lucky image hosters. I mean aside from them being a major image hoster for us, there's no other relation between the two. Or not that I know of... And also, as others have said, things happen. They might not have deleted stuff from last year, but I think they're really cracking down on it now. I mean honestly, the pictures from before were just MOSTLY in BloodyJay's Brickshelf. The new pictures on the other hand, have been redistributed so many times, it's popping up in more than just a few Brickshelfs. Simply put, this isn't a sign of the apocalypse, so just relax and chill out to some mellow tunes. Afterall, stress is bad for the heart.

Well, the Exoforce site hasn't quite gotten around to post the instructions yet. I'm sure they will quite soon, considering how fast the updates have been on the site.
-
Says that man with the title. Guess your signature really worked its way in! Congrats, by the way! And you're quite right about the blank slate thing. I have a short burst of wit here and there, but no visible personality. But that's ok with me! I just like to post here and there to share ideas and such.
-
Meh, I think new legs would have been a total waste. Afterall, this is Lego here, not action figures. And besides, could you imagine how Legobob Peglegs would look like? My brain hurts when even trying to imagine it.
-
I know it's kidish, but Mickey from Kingdom Hearts 2. He really gets to use that ol' keyblade of his and beat the living daylights out of the Heartless. Other than that, I would have to say any character from the Lego Star Wars game. I just can't get enough of how cute they are!
-
Meh, I would also like to have my own user title, but it's ok. Only the extremely dedicated members get titles and I have come to respect that. I can honestly say that I haven't been the most hardcore-Eurobricker despite my efforts. Quite frankly, I think it would be absolutely exaustive if I actually tried at Eurobricks considering my commitments at other places. I would be one drained eurobricker if I did! Anyhoo, back on topic. Wow! I never even took notice of any other members changing their titles, so I thought everything was normal. Guess not.

Those are some serious coolness! I mean are seriously cool. With the exception of the Giant Spongebob (Which is Megablok quality), the Spongebob looks solid. As for Avatar, did they EVER drop the ball on the Fire Nation guard. Repaints of the Knight Kingdom pieces? Come on! Why could they have done a pre-painted face and used a samurai helmet and armour instead? That would be the perfect match! However, to each their own. Overall, I think we're looking at a bright future here folks! I can just tell that Bikini bottom one is going to really rock.
-
Also, look at that! It's a launching bed! This is incredible! I tell ya, I thought this was going to be a dud, but seeing how the figures are build, this line is going to be kicking Megabloks butt EVERYWHERE.
