  1. Well, because I noticed yonder "Girl" thread in this board, I kinda made title tags for the girl members. Here's the two badges! Fair Maiden: Meant to be the tag for girls once they identify themselves to ye olde Knights of the Round Table (aka Forum leaders). It's like the vassel tag, but made girly. So instead of the classic shield or coat of arms, I gave it a pink/purple princess hat! (Queen Leonora's hat, pic from bricklink) Princess: Kinda the higher equivilant of the Fair Maiden title. Just like how I'm a citizen, they become a princess right off the bat at 100 posts, because I've noticed that they don't exactly post THAT much. Therefore, they get the gold Princess hat! Well, there's the last of them! By the way, this is merely fanart, I thought I should give something back to the wonderful people who started this. The logos were meant to fit in the space given to the Admins, so if anyone is interested, just tell me the maximum size of these so I can blow 'em up! Oh and I can always change the text as well. :)
  2. We're so relaxed, we took all 5 Gold medals in the sloth olympics! Wooyeah! Anyhoo, welcome my friend! Also, check out the MOC section. This place has some serious and kooky talent. :oD
  3. Doesn't sound bad! Not exactl;y bouncing off the ways here, if you know what I mean, but interesting nonetheless! Thanks for the information!
  4. Amen to that Dragon! I really hope they get the colours right for the figs, regardless of reused molds or not. I really hope Karzon's helmet and armour will be a copper tone. Afterall, who doesn't like a scratched up copper? :-D
  5. Well, not news to any, but Megabloks screwed it up again. My hate for them has never rose this far up since they introduced the Fantastic Four sets. They somehow have this innate talent of turning movie stars into midgets. After that Invisible Woman minifig, I didn't think I would every willingly set eyes on another license set again. Until today. Recently, I've had this sort of phase I like to call "Narnia". I was checking for pictures of the sets, and I found these: http://www.action-figure.com/events/main.p...&g2_itemId=1133 Is it just me, or does this looks like an extreme case of botchery? I mean I can stand Megabloks, but these makes my eyes BURN. :^^D
  6. Hey! Welcome back! I was wondering where you went!
  7. Not to mention that this actually looks alot like something that came out of an anime show. Those wings really remind me of the logo from Evangelion. I tell you though, that guy has some serious skill at art. The entire body structure is breath-taking. Stunning. Absolutely stunning.
  8. Just because we didn't post it first doesn't mean we can share our enthusiasm about it! Right? Guys? ;) ANyhoo, this is great! We can finally get the Vikiing sets! It's great to see these sets again, considering the last time I saw them were at a Lego Store in Singapore. I *so* wanted to pick up a set, but I ened up saving my money. :(
  9. Not to mention the following: Sneak peak pics on the product pages have been replaced by a photo of the actual product Shop @ Home has been updated with ExoForce, Piraka and Viking (For North Americans) sets What's really strange is that the word in the beginning of the movie were from Chinese Caligraphy. I was actually able to read those letters. The main one that I saw right away was "Mountain" or "sAAn" if you pronounce it in english. Must be the Sentai Mountain again. All and all, a great day for Lego. Rock on!

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, the legs were a nightmare. Trust me, if you remove all that leg armour, you'd be in for a *very* big surprise as to how non-buff it is.
  11. Well, after seeing the review of the Exo-Force set, I became infatuated with building a "mech-suit" for my favorite series, RoboForce. Well, here's a sneak peek of what it is. It's finished, but I'm also going to put up a full blown dock for this mech. Anyways, here's a few non-good quality action pose pictures! And just a note, his wings are actually on the shoulders. The sholder actually ends at the sloped piece. I'll give a diagram later. ;) Angel you say? Look out! Incoming! That's right! He's got lightsabers on his shins! Wouldn't want to play him in soccer! Ready for close combat! Uber-destructive "Black-hole" cannon A size comparrison Hope you have enjoyed this!
  12. Thanks for the pics of the wings! They look awesome! Never seen anything better! It's also a very nice construction, considering how the wings can attatch to just onto just one block.
  13. As long as Kopaka doesn't say "Shoryuken!" or pull out a Hadoken in the middle of a fight against the Makuta, I'm cool with it. :-D Then again, it's be pretty cool to see them in action. It would make for a great mini game, I suppose. :)
  14. Also, the link colour is kinda funky when you try to dearch another user's posts. I couldn't see the link for the "post preview" because it's the same colour as the background. It's not a big problem though, I can always do my Ctrl+A trick. :-D
  15. Aye matey! I knew this would get here soon enough! Well, here are my picks: 1) Kopaka and Gali (Classic) 2) McDonald's Matoran/Tohunga 3) Exo-Toa 4) Kohrak (That's a Bohrok, by the way...) 5) Kopaka Nuva (Not the greatest, but I modded it to be uber-flexable. :oD ) Well, as you can see, I'm not the biggest fan of the newer sets. And an honorable mention goes out to all the new sets coming out, especially the Piraka. Those just rock!
  16. Sure, it's not mindblowing, but it's a very nice MOC nonetheless. I really like how it has a "archetype" smell to it. I would really like it if we could see the inside though, because I'm sure the inside looks spectacular or has alot of potential.
  17. Or a tropical getaway for that matter. :-D Very nice! I really like how you realle bulked everything up so it looks like one unified piece! I especially like the use of the palm leaves. Doesn't exactly convey a lumberjack set of mind (Sorry, just my opinion), but this would sure make one heck of a tropical shack. Just add sun, beach and water! |-D
  18. Has anyone seen the prices these are going for online? I've heard someone spotted one for about $5000 a couple days ago. *wacko*
  19. If you're refering to a "street-fighter" style game, then I disagree. Yes, I do believe there should be more of a fighting-based game, but it should still be in the Bionicle Style. I really like the adventure games as there's a good mix of story and action. Sure, it's not like you really get to do anything really mind-blowing, but the MNOLG1 really made my day/year. The fighting parts such as the Nui-Rama nest and the Takua's fellowship against the Rahi games were pure gold. No wait. Platinum. Pure platinum. :-D
  20. SWEET CHRISTMAS! That blue-haired guy looks seriously ticked! And I tell ya, it ain't healthy for one to be that ticked. Somebody get this dude some laughing gas, or his head's going to explode. Heh, nice new pics! And wow! I can really see that this is truly a set that will end up on children's Christmas's lists everwhere! And wow. Lego sure is showing a certain, um, "liking' of large guns. I mean I thought Dino Attack was something else, but this? That "tankishthingy" is packing some serious heat right there. Is it really nessesary to carry that much weaponry to fight for a gate? I mean with all that firepower, you could literally blow the doors of any base into oblivion.
  21. Well, I finally got a pic! And because the lighting was terrible, I might actually have to re-take this picture. I cut it out onto a grey background so editing it wouldn't be such a pain. Anyways, here's mine!

    Favorite SW movie?

Arg! I didn't see the some button. |-/ Anyways, Episode 1 and 3 are the best in my opinion. They both really gave Star Wars a breath of fresh air. I like episode I in particular because it was brighter and a happy environment. Episode III was just plain awesome. It really made the prequel saga go out in a bang! :)
  23. Bah! Bah humbug to Photoshop! Heh, actually, I love Photoshop. :-D But for the resizing you see here, I used Microsoft Picture it! because I feel it has a superiorily easy way to rezie the pics. Oh so easy. I use if for all of my own pics when I sometimes botch photos to change the lighting. And your review was awesome, don't be told otherwise! Also, if you have a Sony Cybershot camera, you might want to take the pictures in smaller size by simply changing the size of the photo to "e-mail" before you snap away. It allows to take smaller pictures, yet almost the same, or better quality. Why? Because as Martha says, Also made in Picture it. :-D
  24. Is it possible to stick me somewhere in there? I'd really like to be in this picture, but I haven't got a good pic of my figure yet. Can I post it by tomorrow?
  25. I won't specify exactly, but I'm in the 14-16 range. Like our Clone Commander here, I also was around for Throwbots and Roboriders. I'll never forget Millenia, my favorite one, aside from Ski. I got into Bionicle because it was a breath of fresh air. I'll always remember the debut of the first comic and the introduction of Kopaka, who was truly a fantastic character. Dark and brooding, yet not to the extent of Batman. I'll also never forget the way they met, it was just a sense of equality and that no single member would overlap another. To me, that was the most outstanding quality of Bionicle.
