  1. "Oh, yes, of course." Erik heals Thalion. "I'd be careful with those helmets, though. Don't want to get controlled by some other demons."
  2. Erik jumps around at the Demon Door's words, then turns back to check the professor is dead for himself. He steps back, and equips his Peacekeepers Totem. "Have to agree with you there, Mr Door." He says, as he attempts to collect all the torches from the walls. "Now, you called him a bastard, and while we've encountered you a few times now, we haven't once seen you hurting anyone. Can I take that to mean you disapprove of killing?"
  3. Encouraged. There's those consumables again!
  4. "Yeah. I'm looking forward to meeting the guy who decided to bring all these demons here."
  5. If special damage has not been rolled, Erik attacks Aureole from the back row with Twin-Axe. If it has, he heals himself with Voltedge. "Raargh! Stop hurting people, stupid demon!" he yells, seeing it hit Thalion.
  6. A bedroll covers about half the Barbarian job trait, and it's 5 gold. Plus it's a one-off payment. Except when fighting Proggs.
  7. Erik heals himself with Voltedge. Back row.
  8. Hehe wood-elf.
  9. Erik attacks from the back row with Twin Axe unless special damage has been rolled. If it has, he heals himself. "So, Miss Djinnifer, while we won't be wishing for anything from you at the moment, perhaps you could tell us what you wish for, so we have more time to work out how to fulfill those wishes."
  10. "Hi miss." "I see the merits in both arguments. To be honest, though, I think we're fine as is. If we do the same damage every round as we just did, it will take us six rounds to beat this demon. Miss Djinnifer would reduce that by about two, if she halved its health, by the time we've fulfilled her wishes. If we go back in time, we have to go through the whole battle again. I don't think we did too bad last time; all the kids survived, and Miss Eldritch implied Miss Polaris will probably survive the battle. I suspect the kid killed by the reaper died instantly - It was a demonic assassin, after all. If we get superbuffed, it seems a waste - Sorrow wouldn't benefit, and there's only two others here. If you want, I've got a Nostrum I can use on you."
  11. If Aureole doesn't use special damage, Erik attacks from the back row with Twin Axe. Otherwise, he heals Thalion.
  12. "Sounds like a plan!" Oh cool. In that case, we could get two people immune to light, one of them hastened, and everyone else flees. If the special comes up, they use their turn to equip their immunity artifact again, and the hastened guy attacks. Otherwise, conditional actions to attack unless the special has been rolled, in which case put on the helmets.
  13. "Throw the bomb if you want. It's up to you."
  14. She may have just not seen it. I had to read through twice to find it, and I was looking for it. The problem was that Nelvin didn't attack son of light C, correct?
  15. "Perhaps, but Drucilla has suggested Polaris may still be alive. Also, I'm not sure leaving it behind us is a good idea, especially if we're going to teleport it into the centre of Eubric."
  16. "Well, how about you give him your helmet? That would protect him from the special damage. Thalion could give one of the other kids his Duplovian helmet, and with a bit of SP, the other one could survive from the back row. I could give Sorsha my armour, but it would take me two turns, and if you want Noel protected as soon as possible, I'd be the only lucky person available to target the demon."
  17. "Ugh. And it would take out all the students."
  18. "We'll just have to make sure we don't attack it if we see someone else trigger that, then." Erik attacks Aureole from the back row with Twin Axe, unless someone else has rolled special damage. Fair enough! Actually, special 1 wasn't even an elemental attack anyway.
  19. "Thanks, gentlemen." "Hmm, Thalion, perhaps you could put that Helmet on the professor?" Oh, it'd make her immune to healing as well. Forgot that. Still, maybe someone could take it off later if necessary.
  20. Yeah I think the action got changed in 77, so it didn't actually happen. It is technically possible, but it's really a rare occurrence.
  21. Erik attacks Aureole from the back row with Twin Axe. "Maybe put me first in the order this time, Heckz, so I can heal Sorrow if I get a chance to use a blood ritual."
  22. I believe so. There's no fancy passive special ( ), it's just Special skills rather than free hits. We could. If Sorrow critical hits with each attack, we'll be finished in 7 turns. I don't want to do more maths, but it seems likely it wouldn't go that quick, and there would be some damage taken in there, but I guess that would work. I still want Erik to attack at least once, though. About 2/6 chance of healing everyone to full versus 1/36 chance of the prof. being drained, and if he rolls damage it'll get healed at the end by his boots anyway.
  23. It looks like the subject has changed from that #90 thing, which might have been deliberate, and this is a big block of stuff. So this is in spoilers.
  24. "As long as we keep it occupied, it won't get a chance to drain health from the professor, and she has enough health to survive a magic burst from one person. Hard to heal the professor, though, I think. The demon would get in the way." Erik attacks Aureole with Twin Axe from the back row. It only drains on special damage and free hits, which is 1/36 chance for each attack by a lucky character. If everyone currently attacking rolls special damage, which comes to one chance in 279936, [and] Amorith [or] Thalion attack and roll shield, she'd still survive by 16 or 9 hitpoints. 17 if Thalion uses Sleeper. Which gives us roughly 4/6 chance of healing her before she's dead.
  25. My mental pictures of forum members change frequently, but Swils is often a yellow jeep. And my mental picture of Rumblestrike is still usually Tarn Valco. Although occasionally it's Sylph Solanum. Also, if we're trying to avoid area-of-effect attacks in #93, why is Sorrow attacking? Are we assuming Professor Polaris has the same immunities as Aureole? And there's no reason Erik can't attack once he's revived Thalion, is there?
