  1. Erik rushes forwards and swings Voltedge at the Burgonet. "My sword will be extra effective against enemies like these." "Sorrow, let me strike first, and then perhaps Syrio will find an opportunity to attack." If I roll Blood Ritual, he'd be healed to full health. So perhaps Syrio could conditionally attack if that happens?
  2. Erik follows Sorrow.
  3. "Well, why don't I swap teams with Amorith? My rituals may be somewhat more effective healing Drucilla, with her high amount of health, and it may come in handy having some extra brute force on that team, in case they find themselves sealed or something. On that note, Sorsha, may I borrow either the Plunger or your Chair, in case I encounter more of those ethereal creatures?"
  4. "Well, perhaps one group of us should go to the Broom Closet, while another group goes to the Armoury? That way if the armoury group has trouble with the demonic armour, the other team is only a short distance away. Or should we just all go to the armoury at first, and then split up after that?"
  5. "There's those other two in the lavatory, as well. We could send 'em all together, Heckz." Erik says, seeing Heckz turn to lead the students back the way they had come. But he follows Heckz, wherever he goes. I could fetch them on my own, probably, but if they've survived this long they'll probably survive until we get to them. "And maybe you could give those bones you've got to Thalion to be incorporated into his new armour or sheild? If you don't have a use for them, of course."
  6. "In the room with Aureole, I think. There's kids in the entrance hall, too, so maybe we should split up and bring the kids there? We could probably fit them all in one lot. Greenies and Chirls get on fine, right?"
  7. Yeah, I don't recall him saying he wanted to sell it. Oh, fair enough. I saw the word "commie" in there, and that seems to get thrown around a lot by people who don't understand communism. Sorry I made that assumption incorrectly.
  8. Erik's mouth drops open in shock. Someone on a quest telling me I can't loot the place? What is the world coming to? Pretzel was right. It must be the demons' corrupting influence. "Well, I think the ones hiding in the bathroom said they'd get in the box if we brought their friend back. If they don't, well, I say we give 'em a beating and mail 'em back unconscious. Karie's right, we gotta warn them not to go out the front door, and if we give her directions to her friends, at least we can convince them to stay in the rooms we've cleared of demons.
  9. Yes, certainly, I can't disagree with that. North Korea is one of many examples of a, shall I say, "less-than-optimal" Communist government. *Edit: Note: I realise "less-than-optimal" is an understatement. In case that wasn't clear over the internet. I believe that is accepted; I assume you mean similar to this, but saying something like "wish to buy" rather than "for sale"? And on the subject of trading items, Khorne/Eric seems like he would possibly be interested in buying Scorpiox/Haldor's Ognar's Beard, just in case Scorpiox and/or Khorne was not aware of this potential trade.
  10. Raguel was not targeted; he can't be, until Cassandra is down. Blood Ritual in this battle only heals people in the same area as Haldor. Haldor is in the Eastern Border, so it only heals heroes in the Eastern Border. Also, while I agree that Hoke has achieved his power level fairly, the Foxtail is still Zakura/Mizuki's item, to sell or keep as she sees fit. As I've said already in this post, I don't completely disagree with your comment. However, the assumption that Communism is all about giving new people things for nothing is not actually (EDIT:) entirely correct. Here is the Wikipedia article, which you may or may not wish to read. I wouldn't read it myself, it's pretty dry and quite long. Anyway, suffice to say that Communism is in fact not a completely ridiculous concept, and despite some drawbacks, actually has certain advantages over Capitalism. Sorry, meant to put "entirely" in there somewhere. I've edited it in now.
  11. Erik winces when Heckz goes down, and steps forward to intervene when he sees Heckz rise looking like he's about to throw a fireball, but is pleased to see him calm down. He equips his Peacekeepers Totem and says Diplomatically, "We've killed a bunch of demons, and I'm happy to report none of them pretended to be anything but demons. Amanda was wearing a shirt with an 'A' on it, much like yours, so we have met her. Plus, we've got Professor Eldritch here with us. You can trust her, at least." He then puts away his Peacekeepers Totem, equips his Talisman of Enlightenment, which had somehow made it's way from around his neck down to get hooked on his belt, and wanders over to look at the spears. Edit: Action in last line bolded
  12. "Ha, fair enough. I was born in a little town a long way from here, way up north of the Dastan Empire. Near the border with the Babaleth Darklands. They breed 'em tough up there, if I say so myself. Half the town got themselves killed in some fighting a few years back, and the rest had to go elsewhere. I traveled around for a while, now I'm here." "Syntax? I was never too sure. I guess you'd have to ask him about it, but from what I gathered, basically half his mind split off and took it in turns with the rest of his mind to control his body. I think you'd have to ask Sorrow if you wanted more information, but if you haven't heard about him, I wouldn't be too concerned. Sorrow always kept all the good bits."
  13. "Huh. My first quest was with him. Seems so long ago. I was 18 then, so now... 19? Does he still have that 'Syntax' fellow inside his head?" Erik glances at a scrap of string tied around one finger. "Could be 20 years by now. I'll have to check." He looks around for Sorrow. "Hey, Sorrow, how long ago was the Maginastra?"
  14. Erik is busy healing, and doesn't notice at first when Mustard makes a scene. He only registers what happened later, after Mustard was gone. He finishes, and sidles over to Karie. "I think he's trying to be sympathetic, in his own way. I understand your frustration, but Sorrow is more than capable of fighting his own battles, when he feels the need to do so. And he doesn't seem too upset by it." He follows everyone else out of the washroom.
  15. "Oh, yeah, I forgot about healing. Let me help with that, Amorith. And I think Karie has the students covered." Erik heals Drucilla, Thalion, and Sorrow [if Amorith leaves them to him]. Does the Spring Staff also work for out-of-combat healing?
  16. Erik wipes water off Voltedge with a corner of his cloak, and grabs a Tonic. "Thanks Heckz." He smiles as he hears Karie and Heckz getting along reasonably well, and he turns to survey the room, but his smile fades when he sees the new kid. "You. We met some of your friends earlier, and they decided to stay hiding rather than get out of here. Something about not hanging out with 'Foureyes' and 'Gothics'. Are you coming with us?"
  17. Erik turns back from healing Sorsha. He observes that the waterspouts have slowed to a trickle, that the big demon looks like it's looking for an escape route, and that Karie is cheerfully playing with explosives, somewhat to the horror of Sorrow. He smiles and attacks Rusalka from the back row with Voltedge.
  18. "Argh! No! Sorsha!" Erik splutters, coughing up water. He heals Sorsha from the back row with Voltedge. "We all know you're brave, you don't have to prove it by attacking the strongest enemy."
  19. "It would appear not." Should Erik be on 36/41 health? It appears to be 41/41 in the stats. Also, does Rusalka's passive damage ignore row/SP? Erik attacks Rusalka with Voltedge from the back row, or the front row if he is on full health. "Also, Heckz, perhaps move Sorsha and Noel up the battle order? They are immune to the free hits from the Waterspouts."
  20. Erik mumbles something at Thalion's suggestion that they hand unkind students to the demons, but he doesn't really object. "Maybe we could kill the demons while they're distracted by eating him. Save a lot of effort." He tries to turn off the sink. We go to all this trouble to save these humans from the demons, and how do they thank us, most of 'em? They just run off, as if they're trying to get themselves killed. Why? Because they can't stand to have to associate with other humans who are slightly different to them. They'd rather make friends with a gorram tentacled, man-eatin' demon than be seen with some guy almost identical to them, but with glasses. Or shorter. Or taller. Or darker. Thalion might be right. Why stand by and let them mistreat each other? Perhaps we SHOULD just let 'em die. He glances at the Plunger Karie is holding. "I don't think that will be a very effective weapon, especially in your hands, miss. Maybe Sorsha could put it to better use?" Pretty sure clubs are for barbarians only. Sorsha's AOE would be quite powerful with it. "If she'd rather not fight with a dirty toilet plunger, though, perhaps I should hold onto it."
  21. Standing near the back, Erik observes the Fonzie insult the three most reasonable students he'd met all day. Then the lights and sink go weird. "Better get back, kid. And for your information, these three have proved to be valuable members of our team." Erik says to Mustard, equipping the Talisman of Enlightenment instead of the Peacekeepers Totem.
  22. "Living armour and talking doors? It really is like our first quest, eh, Sorrow?" Erik chuckles bleakly. "Y'know, that sounds like it might work. Thanks for the advice, sir." Erik spins his Talisman of Enlightenment around his hand. "Well, if it's not being used anyway, I wouldn't mind borrowing that Medal of Valor you've got." Erik moves on with the rest of the party.
  23. Erik nods. "Thank you for that information. Are you aware of any students who are in immediate danger? Also, you may be aware of the Demon Door that prevents us from entering the Atrium; would you have any ideas on how to get past it?"
  24. "Ooh, you want me to heal you instead?" Erik heals Heckz if he wants. Then he follows him up the stairs. He turns and waves at the door. "See ya later, Mr Door."
  25. Erik watches as the rest of the party assembles the model. He turns back to the Demon Door. "So, I guess you'd see a lot of the things that happen in this academy, Sir, being in four places at once. Seen anything interesting recently?"
