  1. Is that Marooned Marin in the kitchen?
  2. I'm curious to know the specifications of the device(s) and display(s) upon which this blurriness is occurring. I've tested on: Two different desktop computers using the same 24" Asus monitor with 1920x1080 resolution, one Windows 7 and the other Windows 10. An ASUS laptop with a 17" monitor running Windows 11. Samsung Galaxy S10 The text is fine on all those devices except for when using Chrome. In Chrome, the light weight text is fainter - it's almost as though the textin Chrome is a weight or two lighter than what's Firefox is displaying (I.e. 400 versus 300 or 200). I wouldn't describe the Chrome text as blurry but it is harder to read.
  3. Well, that's two reports of this blurriness so there must be an issue with the typeface rather. Looks like the font will need changing then!
  4. But is anything preventing you from reading it clearly? I.e. Is it blurry or distorted?
  5. That was me because I got tired of looking at the clunky Helvetica on my 24 inch screen. And strangely enough, the new font, Jost is much smoother without any blurring. But in case my monitor (or my head) is the issue, and everyone else is suffering, I'm open to changing the font. Sure, but please post your recommendations here.
  6. Ok, so have named all these ships?
  7. It's kind of like Sabre Island but for pirates! The end result isn't too shabby. Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought the original set worked in its own right, despite the wall piece alluding to a much larger structure. Have you ever considered expanding the original set to flesh out what that building might actually be?
  8. A blog post for The Explorer Fleet is in the pipeline...
  9. It was definitely worth the wait! We'll be sure to blog post this on Classic-Pirates.com at some point, but for now, I've frontpaged it on Eurobricks.
  10. "Escape from Port Royal" a bustling harbour packed to the brim with glorious details by mlucas86 Check it out in the LEGO Pirates Forum.
  11. Of course! I bought all the Escape from Port Royal sets at my local toy store and I will now sell them on eBay at an exuberant price
  12. I brought this set from my local toy store a few days ago.
  13. Thank ye for the acknowledgement! But it was your hard work and diligence that made Jan's creations work in blog post format - this was certainly one of the more challenging posts in regards to making everything flow seamlessly.
  14. Well, Pirate King, we can certainly show you the ropes! To get started, I'll give you access to our secret planning forum, The Shipyard. There you find a welcome topic - so please post in that topic to confirm your access was a success.
  15. Specifically, what do you love about it?
  16. Don't get your hopes up! Your best bet is to buy it directly through somewhere like eBay.
  17. WOW! This is quite an impressive vessel! @Captain Braunsfeld I nominate this for the frontpage - but we need a rousing image because, while clean, the grey background images look a bit one-dimensional without any shadowing. Something like this should grab attention:
  18. And just long might that be? Which could be interpreted two ways! The amount of time to accumulate sufficient resource to build the fleet.. The amount of time build the ships.
  19. Too many! But that appears to be the version of the Jolly Roger they're using these days. Let us pause for a moment in reemergence to the original version:
  20. There is also Classic-Pirates.com Blog Post with further details... That is why you need to read the details carefully!
  21. Very exciting! Also, what if we featured these on the Classic Pirates Instagram at some point in the future?
  22. How do we get The LEGO Group to hire you to conceptualize new waves of pirate sets for the next several years?
  23. What a fine entry it be! Let's move this to the Pirate MOC Subforum since its a MOC.
  24. We now have an official announcement on LEGO Ideas blog.
