  1. How would you like us to help? This is the first time I've ever heard of a "too many pictures" error. We don't have the ability to insert posts so perhaps you're going to need 2 threads, one for discussion and contributions, while the other is strictly for indexing ships.
  2. Excellent work Mr Morse! Your glorious and wonderful creations should be easily accessible to as many as possible so they too can share the awe! Anyway... Is this the the crew for the Agamemnon?
  3. I thought it was mini-figure scale because if you look at the doorways they seem just the right height for mini-figures...
  4. Is the below image taken in your attic? It looks like its below the deck of ship! And are there a couple of fort MOCs I see in that image which will find their way to threads of their own (eventually)?
  5. They definitely look charming however I don't think I'd ever purchase any. There's something about LEGO's construction ability that makes it so much more appealing, whereas Playmobil seems like something that I'd just set up and leave. Unless I were a child of course, then I'd probably play with it like any other toy.
  6. Its Vladeks train!!!
  7. I'm going to laminate my Islander Poster before putting it on the wall. At least that way it will last significantly longer than tacking it to the wall in its natural state.
  8. New banner = new thread. This is the smiley thread.
  9. Yer kiddin me aint yer? :-||
  10. Probably not. When you're done tinkering with them I'll finish them off. You probably should look into some antialising on the inside of the hook to take the jaggered edge off. Congratulations!
  11. I see your point... But what of the accessories? Do they have any potential in LEGO MOCs?
  12. Are you being serious Mr Norro or is this a quip descended from a certain MISB discussion we had last year? And I can move this thread to the main forum if you like... Then I'll move it back here after its received the discussion it deserves.
  13. My view is I don't have one yet! I really need to see more images of the 80's Playmobil sets before I can formulate an intelligent opinion. Playmobil seems like a decent product although it doesn't really appeal to me like LEGO does.
  14. Do you have any pictures of which you write about? One such picture at the top of the thread would be good for the discussion.
  15. Are you being serious ImperialScouts? :-/ If so, I can change it for you.
  16. Does anyone suspect the Playmobil Pirates are what inspired The LEGO Company to release their own Pirate theme?
  17. Its about that time I start wondering how well would this work with real LEGO, like used in a MOC for example?
  18. Norrington are you drunk? If you see two people wearing the same outfit that doesn't mean they're same person! I am confirming that is not me because I have never been on that ship in my life. You need to lay of the grog lad... We also need to upload pictures of this ship to a brickshelf folder otherwise we will only have access to them for as long as the eBay auction lasts - which is usually 90 days after it ends.
  19. Yes, I'm planning to do some pictorial reviews in the near future, however since Brickster has reviewed the Caribbean Clipper I'm going to feature that first. I've been itching to do a Pirates Perilous Pitfall Pictorial Review (that would be good to say really fast over and over) so that'll probably be something I'll do later this month. Don't fall into the trap of believing that ALL of Australia is hot ALL the time... Where I live it gets quite cold in winter, as low as zero degrees celcius or sometimes lower. Obviously not freezing like some places but cold enough to feel it, or cold enough to want to wear a jumper/sweater. In fact, where I live the average maximum temperature last week was around 15
  20. How did you arrive at "13" for the crew size?
  21. Sometimes castle walls and battlements can be very useful for pirate fortresses or Islander temples. Mr Jamtf, I know you're a man a collector's persuasion, but do you do much MOCing?
  22. $8000 is quite impressive for "a couple of weeks"! But that depends what kind of dollars. If it was Hong Kong dollars then that isn't quite so impressive!
  23. How many mini-figures would you like to see in this crew?
  24. You didn't happen to take any images of the local culture while you were in Hawaii, did you KAHUKA?
  25. What piece are the cannons made out of?
