  1. Unfortunately the majority of users at Eurobricks don't speak Portuguese and therefore will not be able to understand the information contained on that webpage. However, from what I gather its an exhibition on the 24th of March featuring a range of LEGO themes ranging from Pirates to City and Technic to MindStorms. Participants can display as many creations as they like but they need to let the organisers know how much space they will require by the 9th of March. As an added bonus there will be security and you can even get an exclusive T shirt and there will even be refreshments! It would be best however if we could get someone fluent in Portuguese to confirm that.
  2. You've got some interesting looking forts Mr Jmacias, could you tell us more about the Coimbra event? Like where, when and who is running it?
  3. The "addict" (I.e. you) or the "attic"? :-D
  4. Yeah, I wonder who wrote that in... 8-|
  5. Nah, that takes too much time. Its much more fun to make he repeat the information X-D
  6. Fort Brighton is far superior to the Imperial Trading Post, however, its not too late, you could always buy one off eBay or BrickLink and then your Imperial Guard collection would be complete.
  7. Were you aware there was a Pirate LEGO Wikipedia article though?
  8. Not really... :( It seems you've made the black border transparent as well.
  9. I can tell you this much: I had a discussion with a potential registar on the 9th so now I'm waiting on news from him. Meanwhile when I go to www.piratebricks.com it still says "Notice: This domain name expired on 02/10/07 and is pending renewal or deletion" and when I check the domain's availability it says "PIRATEBRICKS.COM is already taken" So Mister Phes *Sits in chair patiently with Imperial Scouts*
  10. If you're using Photoshop you might like to consider making the backgrounds transparent and exporting them as .gif - because right now your backgrounds are black and the files you're posting is .jpg which don't support transparency.
  11. No, it was the 10th of March. I was just mentioning it was almost the 12th of March where I am, as a matter of fact. Not that it has any signifigance.
  12. Maybe you could raise them one more and raise the moustache also... Which program are you using for this? MS Paint?
  13. Ah yes, indeed you are correct Mr ZCerberus. Do you own the ship in question?
  14. But Emperor's ship isn't a Pirate LEGO set... As for your brother, which sets, how much and which countries did they come from?
  15. I've just realised Mr Bonaparte has forgotten to add the most important Wikipedia article of them all... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lego_Pirate
  16. And so it is. March 11th here. Under 6 hours off being March 12th in fact.
  17. If the eyebrows are removed then the eyes should be raised higher to be seperate from the moustache. The rest of the smileys look quite fine and might be added... One day... Bigger changes are not long off being made...
  18. What an ethusiastic young lad you are Mr Imperial Scouts!
  19. Well to be technical it was the ship that was included with the Imperial Trading Post, not the Imperial Trading Post itself. And the ship I refer to is the only ship in the Pirate theme with what I'd call a brick built hull - its only got one of those pieces though.
  20. What do you have in mind for the sails? Or is that too far ahead to think about?
  21. There never is a lot of bidders for European Pirate LEGO eBay auctions and I've been pointing this out for a couple of years. However, it seems none of the European users here take a advantage of it and I'm a complete loss as to why. Will you be bidding on these auctions Mr Tiber?
  22. And yet you ave computer technology and knowledge of how to use it - REMARKABLE!!! X-D
  23. I see your points Mr ZCerberus and I do agree. I think this building method would work a lot better if this was supposed to be some kind of fortification rather than sea vessel.
  24. I was just about to ask if the name of the ship was inspired by Hornblower - but I'm too late! :'-(
